Regardless of whoever wins or loses, Sully is amazingly good at this stuff. Everyone forgets how good of a poker face he has, and he is a pro at reading them.
@@Imperial_Squidmine is weird. It's either "he's so ruthless, never trust him" or "he's so honest, he'd never lie". Once I figure out how everyone views me, it is very powerful in poker. In some games, it just means they vote me out first whether it's a good play or not.

I feel like Skull could make for an interesting house rules. I don't know what additional rule/punishment to add. But you could shuffle all the tiles together and when someone loses a tile, they are just dealt less each round. Someone could start the round with 4 skulls. Could be fun.
Skull but Teri picks what tiles get flipped over. You still play/bet as usual, but whoever wins the betting, Teri flips over the tiles and you just have to beg/bribe for her benevolence whether she will pick Laurie's skull every round
I believe that Sully just has joke cards for his power cards at the end. First one was name all of the countries of the world, and the second was a handshake?? Poor guy
As a game person who watches the show, I absolutely love the energy Sat brings to the table 😂 his lovable chaotic nature is amazing. I absolutely love it.
Spoilers . . . . . i really enjoyed knowing when sully lost his skull card in the first game because we got to appreciate his bluffing prowess more in the moment!
House rules for Skull: all tiles have to be blind picks, or you take a punishment to peek. Something like the shock therapy thing or a shot or something.
This episode was everything I dreamed it would be. Love the chaotic but suspenseful standoff of Skull bluffing. It feels like 5 new in-jokes were born during this episode alone.
Just wanted to comment to boost the algorithm and state that I freaking love this saga of board game club. Like the tournament style week to week competitive board gaming, adding the stakes as well as y'all are just hilarious. Very much enjoy
I bought this game from the first time it appeared on this channel. It’s a very fun game and would recommend for anyone considering it for themselves!!!
I played a game of Skull with some other people at my local board game club where about half the players would just shuffle their cards and play one to the table without looking - after all, no one can tell if you're bluffing if even you can't!
Y'know...for all of this legend talk this episode...I wish I could nominate Western Legends to be one of the games for the league to prove how much of a legend they could be lol
This has to be the most unhinged episodes in a long time. In huge part thanks to Lorna and Sat. They are really unhinged, even by NRB standards. And they kinda appeared out of nowhere right for Board Game League too. I think I saw Lorna maybe once before, but besides that - nothing. Are they transfer players? Or were they summoned?
Lorna has been on semi frequently. Sat comes from the Wrestletalk side of things where he is the reigning, (non)defending Jam that Jampion. Love him and Tempest!

Editing out the playing of the first tile after the first few times was a great editing choice, kept the momentum of the video going and kept the length down.
Great episode overall, but I think flips should have been worth more points, something like 3 maybe? It's much harder to do a flip than to just keep your cards to the end.
People say that about poker as well. And they're wrong. When people are making hidden decisions and can manipulate some of their public decisions, 'purely mathematical optimal way' is not a thing that exists.

I heard it makes you 10% sexier than you are! Does that mean my returns would be negligible?
Laurie: I'm something of a bully in "Skull."
Lorna: Outta my way, BALDY!
"I've had a premonition where I got this wrong," I think they just call that anxiety
Regardless of whoever wins or loses, Sully is amazingly good at this stuff. Everyone forgets how good of a poker face he has, and he is a pro at reading them.
There's a reason why he's undefeated in blindfolded Yahtzee
Yeah some people have this like magical aura where you massively underestimate their skill in bluffing games, Sully is one of those people
@@Imperial_Squid Sully has that aura of innocence, yeah.

Could you also add the number of times Sat looked at the camera ?
(Just to add a BIIIG number to the list)

We play a version where you just bid out loud first person to bid high gets is, don't go around the circle. Makes it faster.
Had a chuckle to myself thinking their OnlyFans should be called "No Holes Barred" 😂
How can Lorna bully Laurie over his hairline ? He ain't got one.
Lol
Love Laurie though he is one of ma faves with sully

it would not surprise me if there is a "sully" pile that gets moved to whichever spot he finishes in. lol.
I sincerely hope not, but eff if it wouldn't surprise me, either 🤣

Sat was on fire this episode! The reaction to ‘I’ll please your wife too’!
Ahh, the good old Lorna/Dom wife/husband duo. Never fails to be hilarious
We love a Board Game Lavender Marraige
We could probably arrange a tote pool of which poisons which first!
SKULL really is the best purely bluffing game out there--and I think this video shows why. Great jobs, guys!
Liar's Dice is also great for a pub bluffing game. I love it.
I know lots of people on the channel enjoy looking into the camera, but Sat does it so frequently and intensely lmao
Seems like his focus is more on big reactions to the camera than playing the game / doing bits with the folks around the table
Sat reminds me that I exist - the total opposite of why I watch board game club 🥲
Having the cards at the end just adds another fun layer, was a good episode.
Sat obviously doesn't know Sully very well... bro is a chaos demon with a innocent smile.
❤ Love Teri, where ever she might be!
👉👇👈👉👆
She is the French with the sharp repartee
And we'll think of her, in every NRB!
❤ Love Teri, where ever she might be! 🎵
Sadly, no one will ever know where she is. Some say she's on the ceiling, but whenever anyone looks there, she's not.

I love Lorna's top, it's so beautifully colourful
she has a distinct style. i love that about her.

Sees the title: gee, I wonder if Laurie will play a skull?
Few of us can imagine the pain that Laurie goes through when he loses his skull tile 💀 and is only left with flowers 🌺🌼
This episode is AMAZING, holy shit. A new high bar, guys.

The split second of indecision where Dom decides what to call Blair without being too mean. Who says chivalry is dead?
Big fan of Sat. A wonderful addition to the cast! And I LOVE seeing more of Lorna - she’s so funny and brings the perfect energy
I wasn't sold on him during the zombopoply episode, but he jels really well with the rest of the cast, actually
BGL meaning Bald Ginger Laurie broke me. Full on tears from laughing 😂
I WAS SO CONVINCED THE WHOLE GAME THAT SAT LOST HIS SKULL IMMEDIATELY
The league has me so much more invested than i usually am. Good job, idea person what done this idea.
one of the most enjoyable bgc eps I’ve watched, thanks for the laughs guys!!
Blair has been an *assassin* in the second game. Hope it works out for her.
Did something happen to her? I had never noticed her scar before. Anyone knows if she's okay?

One of the best videos on the channel. Loads of fun
Dom and Lorna's marriage is still on the rocks
Pretty sure that ship was built on the rocks. Still waiting for the tide to
I absolutely loved this just as much as the first time you played it on the channel
Don't worry my liege Dom, you will tip toe them through the tulips yet..

If only every time a tile had to be taken away it was shown/logged to the viewer so we can see how many skulls still exist out there
Skull is always good fun!
Really enjoying the league format too!
No Boulders Rolled

Tiptoe through the tulips with Dom.
Is Sat playing the strip version of Board Game League? That'll do well on the premium OnlyBoards content.
