    Ultimate French Toast Recipe
    Ingredients:
    • 2large eggs
    • 1 cup - 1 1/2whole milk
    •. 2 tablespoons granulated sugar or to your liking .
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or to your liking .
    • Pinch of salt (optional)
    • 8 slices of thick-cut bread (such as brioche or challah)
    • Butter, for cooking
    Optional Toppings:
    • Maple syrup
    • Fresh berries
    • Powdered sugar
    • Whipped cream
    • Nuts
    Instructions:
    1. Prepare the Batter:
    • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
    2. Heat the Pan:
    • Preheat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a bit of butter to the skillet and let it melt, coating the surface.
    3. Dip the Bread:
    • Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are well coated. Allow the bread to absorb the mixture, but not too long to become soggy.
