The real Play Dough Barber shop had a crank operated barber's chair. You inserted the dough up the model's fundament, sat it in the chair and turned the handle to force the goo through the holes in the head (I think this became the inspiration for one of the methods of death in the Saw movies?). There were a couple of moulds that looked like ancient Mayan priest helmets that you could clamp over the head to create styles and after you got bored and put the toy away, even if you removed the dough and put it back in the tin, there were always bits of dough that got stuck in the holes that you had to poke out with a pin (sharp objects, small children anyone?) else the next time you went to play with it, the dried dough blocked the holes and broke the barber's chair when you tried to force fresh dough through the holes. Hours of fun, hours more cleaning up!
I'm from America so we don't have poundland, but we do have dollar-tree and the like, one of the great weird toys I've seen there are bible action figures that include jesus, moses, and even mary.
Well my friend did a little video of the adventures of Jesus and Black Jesus just to entertain ourselves (Sadly it has been lost) But when I go back to Dollar Tree I'll look up stuff to maybe send Ashens as he has supplied me with many laughs and his name is is close to my nickname Ash, or as I've taken to call myself on nintendo products Ashes since apparently Ashtar is bad word? A name I took from Ninja Gaiden 2... The irony burns quite deeply as NG2 was an nes game..

Boyfriend and I went to pet smart to get a fish tank and decorations, and we found this decently crafted dwarf figure, and I almost didn't even glance at the name of it, but I'm glad I did. "Fantasy World Little Man" He's sitting on the mantle now. We love him dearly.
I used to be a big fan of this guy when I was like 9 now I'm watching his videos again and 1. I'm still laughing my ass off 2. He has REALLY nice hands like wow

I can imagine the live action Micheal Bay directed Transforming dog film. And it really isn't pretty, especially when the dogs guts go flying everywhere as it is torn apart and a robot comes out.

I have video of one of those crap spring Elvis figures nearly causing an air crash. The pilot had one on the canopy, as a 'joke', but it fell off and got jammed under the rudder/brake pedal. The pilot had to stamp it to death once airborne
Somehow the Funtastic brand warrants its own TV advertisements in Australia. Could the Funtastic that sells in Poundlands be a knock-off of an entire legit brand?
They had more versions of the jiggly Elvis figure, not really for kids but to hang in your car windshield. My family had one in a golden suit dangling in the windshield, one that actually looked like Elvis but there were multiple versions with different colored hair and suits. (there is a chance that the one you got is a copied version of lower quality, which would fit the place of purchase, the face on ours was more detailed and more well done) Also every time you say: Sad onions I think of The Binding Of Isaac.
The names of the transformer knockoff animal things sound like bootleg MMX Mavericks. Imagine fighting "Excavation Bear" instead of, say, Tunnel Rhino. ...Wait... Just realized they used "Thunder" twice. Thunder Tiger and Thunder Crazy Ox (aka Thunder Rhino). Well, fair enough, MMX did reuse a few words for the Mavericks (Storm Eagle and Storm Owl).
