These really are great boxes. I have two of them on a 24" board for rotating effects but a lot of the time I just use the boost and eq because to my ears it really does magic. That was an unexpected bonus...
Hi john. I'm right there with you. There's just something magic that the Xotic Blender and Xotic SP Compressor adds to the guitar sound. Thanks for watching! -_Daniel_
I wonder what the difference is and if it's noticeable sound-wise between adjusting the wet button for an effect with the blender pedal vs adjusting the effect level on the effect itself. Guess I'll find out. I have one coming tomorrow lol
Hi emach07. On many effects, as you turn the Wet/Dry knob towards Wet, you lose the crispness of the direct sound. The X-Blender allows you to add as much effect as you want while still maintaining 100% of your original dry signal. -_Daniel_
Fender amps are so awesome and classic, but crystal clear chime isn’t it’s thing. It’s creamy lush tones. You can get a very similar tonal clarity going clean into a British style amp if that’s what you are going for. The blend option on this pedal is killer though!
This is a fantastic demonstration…..I love that you “get it” about the buffering and the subtle sweetening…killer pedal

I think Xotic is the most underrated pedal company on the planet. I'm still not over how badass the EP booster is and I've had it for many months now.

What a great, informative video! The absence of note'y shred licks is greatly appreciated!
What a great explanatory video, thank you, Daniel!
agree !
external expression pedal support to controll the blend knob would be real cool, I'm getting this one for now anyway.
Haven't seen someone use a Gibson LEs Paul BFG in a while, sounds great!
So, if you set the dry/wet knob at 12 o'clock you get 100% of both dry and wet signals?
Don and Mitch on vacation Daniel? Lol 😂 Great to see you!
Pretty useful concept.

@@sweetwater Thanks so much for that info!
good video ! clear
how would u compare this to the One Control Mosquite tho?
would this work with empress zoia?????
Hi MajorMinorMBC. It would but, it's quite possible to create something similar to it inside your ZOIA preset. And it would be stereo. -_Daniel_
is it stereo out?

Why would u need another pedal to lower the wet signal when u can use the pedal itself?
Because most pedals don't have wet and dry parameters..
This would of been even better if made in stereo. Would be great for a wet dry wet rig.
Err ... isn't it really just a buffer/boost?
