Like driving a peice of jewelry down the road. Hope whoever has it, appreciates it.
It suits the electric gates at the end of the drive far better than a shiny basketball shoe on wheels, that's for sure!
You couldnt of said it better💯🙌🏼
The car is absolutely beautiful, the car companies do not make them like that anymore it is a shame.
WHY? Blame it 100% on Greedy Lazy Rotten members of the United Auto Workers - AFL-CIO! Teamsters Union, By the time Detroit totally lost the automobile industry to the Japanese, due to being forced to produce flimsy falling apart slammed together horrible cars, The unions had squeezed every last nickel out of the big three! Forcing the cars to be thrown together and ready or not, here they come! According to car and driver, the unions paid on average $56 per hour to non-skilled assembly line workers , gave 60 paid days a year off. 30 days vacation, 30 more paid days off for personal needs (funerals, weddings, new baby, graduation, etc) guaranteed jobs for family members with 8 or more years, THE cost? These forced concessions upon the car makers meant the cost be added to the window sticker, reflecting a 34 % fat pad be paid by the buyer. Because the car makers could NOT get the public to buy shitty claptrap cars, they bleed cash! Cadillac and Corvette were sold at losses just to keep the image alive until they could find more cash to save a sinking industry

So true..today a Cadillac is no different than a Hyundai, sad
Cadillac needs to take a look at this to see how it's done.
Or how they used to do it.
They know - their "new" CEO just doesn't give a damn. i, may very well, have the last car that deserves to be labeled a Cadillac - a 2020 CT6 Platinum with a 4.2L TT engine - NO CT8's coming, at least that I'm aware of !!
@@gb2828 lol no.The last good cadillac was the ctsv with the lt4 6.2.The newer 4.2 tt is dogshit.
I agree Solomon. This crossover stuff is bullshit. Give me a big ass Cadillac that I have to register as a land yacht! Nothing like the old Fleetwood Broughams or the Eldorados. Unfortunately Cadillac thinks they need to compete with BMW and Mercedes. Problem is if we wanted that we would buy the BMWs and Mercedes. Personally, I don’t care for bland cars with bland interiors. I’ve got a ‘09 STS-V, 1 of 96 made in ‘09 and the next car I get will be a CT6-V, but that may be the last new model I get.
@@pope9349 You don’t understand, some of us like interior room with power. Sure, the CTS-V is a more powerful engine, but you sacrifice leg room, head room, width, etc. The CT6-V is a great combo of power, room and class.
This beauty just puts modern cars on the road to shame with luxury & style.
My grandma had one of these when I was growing up, I loved going on road trips with her. She's been gone for 25 years but I still remember sitting in the cadillac with her.
That's a special memory wow. I can only imagine beautiful memories like that.
@@shortdogggonzalez9203 thank you, she was a special lady.
The 90s was the last decade where cars were simple and made with real chrome that had these carburetor like looking engines from 70s.
Reminds me of being back in Brooklyn in the early and mid 90s.
Truly one of the most beautiful American sedans ever crafted. Kinda funny to think that the average person could mistakenly think this car was from the mid 70's.
Agree 100 percent. Well that style WAS from the mid 70s, the steering wheel in this car I believe is from a 79 Deville, the dashboard aside from the digital speedo i believe is out of a '77 fleetwood, so by the time 1992 rolled around Cadillac could build these cars very cheaply and sell for a big profit as the retooling and redesign costs were practically nothing, aside from engine changes and having the fleetwood name dropped in '86 -87
The only obvious difference is the headlights. No more sealed beams which I think were dropped around '87.
The last of the "Proper" Cadillacs.
They are never coming back.
Cadillac has gotten batter since 2004 with the CTS and the art and science design.
@@willsco76
I'd still take this over the newer Cadillac. But, that's just my personal preference.
@@willsco76 These Cadillac models are miles ahead in so many ways of anything Cadillac has produced within the last quarter century. The new ones are ugly overpriced plastic junk boxes with too many unnecessary electronics and gadgets that absolutely will fail one day.
...and how about the Buick Roadmaster??
Ct6 v ?? All that in the back of chips. It just cost too much. But it's undeniable
All I can say is Wow! The original owner really went all out, didn't spare any expense on this gorgeous car! That $40,000+ that he paid in December 1991 is equivalent to over $76,000 in 2021. And that big power moonroof brings back memories; they definitely don't make them that big nowadays, and haven't for a long time, the modern day panoramic sunroofs notwithstanding. Some lucky person is going to be very happy when they win the bid for this car. We can only hope that they take good care of this classic automobile.
Yep when the car was brand new in 1991, with its spacious, comfortable and lavish interior, super size trunk, it's ability to tow trailers with the optional 5.7L V8, body on frame construction, lots of low end torque, along with the ASTRO roof and CD player which was very rare and expensive at the time, was in every sense equivalent to the Cadillac Escalade.
That drive back to the shop had me on the edge of my seat. All those intersecting drives and no barrier between that gorgeous car and oncoming and potentially left turn vehicles. Not to mention the possible person behind the wheel DUI.
Okay, now I've stopped the video and realize someone will be getting a beautiful classic Cadillac and may this car live a long accident free life. Preferrably in some town with limited traffic, no roadside bars/saloons and free from salt spray, because this beauty would be just a joy to drive around town so that today's youth can see what luxury was 3 decades ago. Maybe even the owner could offer to use this ride to solicite contributions for a local youth organization by renting it occasionally to take deserving adolescents to the prom and back home safe in style.
Thanks Anthony and your Pa for seeking out these relics that have been left sitting disused for too long. They are just precious, and we'll ne'r see the likes of them ever again.
My uncle had one of these, which broke my heart when he sold it. I felt like royalty in that car.

Man that is one beautiful car. I remember when folks took pride in the neighborhood their family, home, job, plus automobile especially a Cadillac! Cadillac isn't like it use to be.
Exactly, now they're cheap plastic crap with shitty little engines that need constant maintenance. There's the reason they don't make them like this anymore, they last longer than the dealers want them to.
No one will ever top that line of Car no matter how they try. Growing up, we had a blue 68 Sedan Deville, a black 73 with red interior, and the last one my dad bought was a brown Fleetwood in 76. Ever since then I've owned them as an adult. 78 Seville, 85 Fleetwood, and now a Deville Touring Sedan (DTS) . My retirement car will be the CT6 in just a little while.
Man, you said it all. America sure has changed. Today no one gives a crap about any of that. I miss those times growing up as a kid in the 1950s.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Lincoln today like what Cadillac should be? In terms of style and quality?
Cadillac would certainly be my car line of choice but I think you're right. What I don't like or understand is why so many SUV's and Crossovers from both. Especially for the elderly or someone who would just prefer a car over something they have to climb into. I'm hoping that both lines will at least keep a couple of their Flagships Sedans. I was really looking forward to the Cadillac CT6 being my retirement car. Fingers crossed !
Absolutely no doubt at all,the Caddys from this time were, and still are just magnificent!
I love these old cars! They don't make them like this today. Thanks for showing 👍
I love it! I grew up with my Dad owning several Caddy’s, and I owned two in the past myself. I would buy this in a moment!
Beautiful well-preserved piece of history! I had two of them.
I have a 92 sedan deVille. Bought it new. I stored it for years, I just love looking at it everyone is telling me to just get rid of it. It's not worth much so why sell it. The seats are so comfortable. What a joy to drive.
I’m Italian so I automatically love this car.
100% here!
That's a three-body trunk right there
Cadillac name and crest are from a frenchman. But I love it as an American. I am of french / belgium descent.
Im brown so i automatically love this car
100 % here in from Portugal i say same thing
My dream Brougham is white with red interior, but this car is an absolute beauty! Someone will be smiling from ear to ear when they win the auction.
A blast from the past when in a large metro arena to be chauffeured to the opera house or exclusive event say at the country club; if you had the means this was a proper vehicle to arrive therein, dressed to the nines.
I had a burgundy and one 92 someone stole and totaled it I still hurt bout my car from 15 years ago RIP

In dad's voice:
Stop putting all them miles on my caddy!
That is beautiful. I had a boss that owned this same car back in the day. Amazing car on the road. Someone is very lucky to get it.
This car is totally fantastic and it is certainly possible to argue that this is the pinnacle of classic Cadillac. I know it's great because I own one that is virtually identical to it, except mine doesn't have the gold badging, wire wheels, or astroroof, and is closer to 80k in mileage. These do ride superbly, though, and the 5.7 finally provides the effortless power this body style should have had when it started in 1980. They certainly don't make them like this anymore, but luckily guys like you make sure we can still buy them. Thanks for all of the videos!
Holy Brougham! It was exactly what my guess was! Absolutely an automotive masterpiece!! I agree that triple white is my preference as well, but this car would be a dream come true to own!
I remember cruising with my MomMom in her Caddy..that leather smell still is one of my favorite scents

One of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen!
I believe this is the best Cadillac I’ve seen on your channel! Absolutely gorgeous and a tribute to the build quality GM put into these cars.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 Junk.
Anthony this is bomb. I would kill for this car but being retired, it is just not possible. Like you, these are what I wait for but I’m sad. I hope the potential buyer knows what they are getting.
I'd say there is no doubt Chuck; the current bid is at $42,200....the buyer is either putting it in their collection or looking for an investment. I don't think this car should be riding around in everyday traffic today which is a shame. Chuck I bet if you or I had the means though, Chuck it would be great to have this car and a chauffeur on call to take us to (?) Gee, where does one go today with these lockdowns and fuel will be escalating with the incoming admin if they do what they said they were going to do. Sure is a beautiful ride. Nothing today compares to this kind of elegance.

My god what a beautiful beast of a machine! Very classy how they integrated the technology. It's just a fine piece of work from a time when cars were more substantial.
That horn puts a smile on my face 😁. What a work of art !!
I’ve been watching your channel for a while and I can honestly say this is the best Cadillac you have had.👍🏾
Absolutely Stunning!!!! I was hoping to see underneath the car, it's my favorite thing about your videos. Thank you Anthony. Going to definitely share this video
Watching your new vid today proves how valuable these gems are. Amazing piece of luxurious art on wheels.
I agree with Anthony about the black cars. I know everyone loves them but I used to own a car detailing business for which black cars show ALL the swirl marks. You can buff and buff and buff to get a mirror shine but only takes you one wipe of a cloth and all the fine marks come back. For that reason I prefer the dark blues or burgandys which are just as rich looking without the paint problems.
Happy New Year Anthony!!! What a great way to start 2021, this Brougham is absolutely beautiful!!! Yes, I'm one of those people that loves triple black cars, my Continental is black. 👍
Absolutely Stunning, and to be one of the last ones built, the end of an era. I will be doing some hinting, tonight and over the weekend, as my birthday is coming very soon 👍
I’ve loved these 1990 to 1992 Editions, as I have loved Cadillacs, and owned a few also,
Over the past 50+ plus years, and I know you have that passion for them also...Thanks much
It's a pleasure just to be able to watch your video. Loved it when you turned the key!
Wow is all I can say. I'm speechless.
Since I grew up back in the '60s and '70s I am a lover of chrome on cars, and that Cadillac certainly has lots of chrome both inside and out.
I knew a guy who had a late '80s edition of that Cadillac in burgundy. They are lovely cars to ride in. Very quiet and extremely comfortable seats both front and rear.
The Godfather of Cadillacs, still love my.95' Fleetwood best!
Magnificent beyond words!! The interior and seating are amazing.
My parents had this same car back in the day. Theirs was triple champagne color. It rode like riding on a cloud. It was a real head turner. Yours is in amazing condition. When you drove it into the video, it looked like it was being driven out of the factory.
I don’t envy many people, but I envy the guy who bought this 😢😢😢. I would love to find one in this condition.
Wow. It’s insane how huge the front and trunk is compared to the actual passenger compartment. Great looking Cadillac.
What a bosss ass car right here wow great start to the auction
I clicked the link all happy, and then realized it’s 2 years ago, beautiful car
My dad had the "92 model in dark blue. I loved making the entrance at valet parking. It got stolen three or four times just for the wheels. Miss him and the car too.
Now that’s a Cadillac 😍🤤 mint
You'll make alot of money selling thie car on Ebay, excellent choice. I've seen cars like these here in Lubbock, Texas who do crazy stuff to these cars, I'm sure subscribers who I hope will win that way that person will appreciate this car for what it is & keep the car all stock.
That is freaking gorgeous! I wouldn't expect anything less from you.
My cousin had this beautiful thing back in the 90s RIP cuz!
Beautiful car Anthony. Love that LEGENDARY 4-NOTE CADILLAC HORN!
Awesome car, and wow, the auction is doing really well fast!
IM SPEECHLESS, The Only thing I can say is WOW !!
Thank you , this is really amazing , I do love it , and appreciate the accurate information .
That is an absolutely stunning example of American engineering. I don’t know how you find them but thank you for finding these gems.
I would consider that a "throwback to old days"
Ladder frame
Pushrod 350
But it's got a round steering wheel. Totally spoils the look of the whole car.
Cadillac best brand in the world
This is a classy caddy I always luved the early 90s broughams and Fleetwoods they were some of the best caddys made I need this one in my collection black on black is the best colors real boss .
I used to own a 10 year old Fleetwood Brougham in red. I was in Toronto at the time, and so it was an '82. But wow was it made solidly. Needed some axle work but was a daily driver. Wanted to make it into a lowrider. Anyway, one accident later, had to sell it and then bought a '80 Camaro with T-tops. :)
That open shot is the very reason why I think the Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'elegance is the most beautiful car ever made. That car personifies the term, "Elegant Gangster".
Oh my god that's gorgeous. I really wish I could bid on it. Probably the nicest Caddy I've seen on your channel.
Absolutely PERFECT!!! I love it.
Pappa Bear looks awesome behind the wheel of that beautuiful Black Caddy. Wish they still made Cadillacs like this one. thanks for the tour Anthony. have a great day
Just discovered this gem 💎. Had 89 Brougham deElegance with plush velvet interior and loved it. Never should have let it go! Later bought 93 Brougham. Not close to 89. Love ❤ black, ultimate formal look. Do prefer plush upholstery. Wish I had seen this when it was available. Hope it went to a good home. The 92 Brougham was the last REAL CADILLAC! So sad to see what is now wearing the Cadillac name 😢 😪 😞!
Absolutely beautiful. Along with you, these are my favorite Cadillacs!
Now THAT's a Cadillac!
Hell of a car .... brings back so many memories with my grandfather
The Cadillac is absolutely beautiful,These was the last years of the "Cadillac" They are never coming back
It's so rare that every funeral home in America had 3-4 of them.
That’s when Cadillac was Cadillac..look at the chrome and the metal buttons screws on the rocker panel not plastic clips..REAL WOOD
Funeral homes didn't have Cadillacs like this...stop it.
@@thejuiceman883 then you live in the hood
@@anthonyt4098 80's Caddys were junk, like most 80's cars.
One thing I do know for sure, none of those Cadillac's come from the factory with Vogue tires and true spoke wirewheels on them, it's a dealership option only, meaning you can order them and they're put on there.
Love the car, envious about the CD player. I was on the look for a triple black 90-92 a long time and thought I'd never find one at a price I could afford. Well, then a year ago one showed up, 5.7 and transmission gone and the black resprayed to a fugly greyish white? But, it was a triple black Brougham d'Elegance at a price I could afford! Bought a complete 425 cid setup from an earlier Fleetwood as well as a 500 cid core engine to rebuild. I'll eventually have a fuel injected 500 in my triple black Brougham, still ways to go though. Need wire wheels and Vogues too. Love love love these cars!
I always tell myself that one day i will buy a vehicle from you Tony. Making the trip from Dallas to where you are located for a vehicle IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. But that drive back to Dallas with a Good Ole American old school SLAB (Texas talk) from my boy Tony G is on my bucket list. I could easily get one here in Dallas but seeing your videos and knowing the type of man you are, a family man and over all really enjoying your videos. Oh my god, this car is beautiful.
Man if I had a garage. I definitely put a bid in! Beautiful automobile. Thanks for sharing.
Keep you car cleaned, polished, and waxed shows the Cadillac Brougham d'Elegance owner is driving in pure class.
Such a beautiful car, I miss seeing these cars on the road. I wish Cadillac still made cars like this. The new Cadillacs have zero appeal to me aside from the Escalade. The classic land yachts are where it is at. One of these days when I have a house with a garage a car like this will be in it.
That is a Cadillac through and through. Don’t make them like that anymore.
Heard they were going all electric. Some dealers dropping the Cadillac line.

Yeah, I think the new head of GM is going to ruin it.
The Chevy Caprice Classic looked quite similar tho.
A Cadillac.....with a Chevrolet engine.....
No they don't. These are the last cadillacs what i call the land yacht, though the 1993-1996 i think, were also very long almost 20 feet like these 1987-1992 cadillacs, the 1992 was the last big box style from the late 1970s. This car in my opinion, with all the interior room and extremely comfortable seating, is the modern day equivalent to the new Escalade.
