@@TheClubsOfDEATH No. I bought it from a funeral home. It had 30K miles on the clock and was mint. I drove it for work and put another 200,000 miles on it. I still dream about it. It wasn’t a car to me. It was a loyal friend. I traded it for a 70 VW Beetle that my son and I restored. That’s another story.
Dang! This is the kind of car the boss or underboss or Capo rolled in back in the day! Just one sweet ride. No luxury cars built like this any more, ANYWHERE!!!. Beautiful car!..no offense intended towards anyone.
The Cadillac was care free, sorta. No big expense items. The rear brake drum adjusters would tighten up the brakes too tight. So instead of turning them I found a junk yard that had a large selection of big Cadillacs and replaced the whole drum about every 6 mos. Way cheaper than having them turned. I made friends with the owner of the yard and he would take the drums off for me. The downside was the Olds 5.7 liter engine was so carboned up that I had to run 93 Octane and keep adjusting the distributor richer and richer to keep the pinging down. In the end I was getting 3 mpg and it cost more in gas than I was reimbursed for using my car. I bought the VW for a project with my teenage son. I bought a new crate engine from Mexico. I had it painted patten leather black with mag wheels My son drove it for college.
Late model luxury. Even though it was thirty plus years ago, I am not impressed with the current offerings of GM even though I have muscle cars that GM offered from the '60's in my collection I really like this! When will GM management wake up!
Bill that is the the next and last car on my bucket list. I had one back in the day as my daily driver. The lock in the truck locks the rear license plate in place. So no one can get to your gas.. Personally I'd loose the grill for the factory one. You know me I like them as they came of the line but that's just me. As always you have a absolutely gorgeous car. Right now I don't have the garage space or the extra play money to get one. But when I do I hope to be able to buy one from you.
Hey good morning! Oh yeah I get the whole garage space thing. And yes, I misspoke about the lock in the trunk. I made another video with the correction! Thanks again Carmine!
Thanks! No issues that I see, I did one more interior video because I was not happy with the quality of this one. Felt I went through the interior too quick, so made another one slowly showing the seats. It is on this channel.
How much is this car? I had to sell my 91 Cadillac Brougham delegance l year and half ago. I sold it to a guy who resold it. Now I am financially ok and looking for a 91 or my old beautiful car. Sold it in Colorado. The guy who bought it lost the new owners information so I am at a loss.
You better buy it now if it's a 350 car, astro roof, spokes and vogues and a D'Elegance. Or get me his number and I will pay you dearly for the lead if I buy it.
The big 350 was adequate for this big Cadillac. These cars were good but not quite like the 70s Cadillacs. Would I buy one if it was in mint? Yes. And I’m very particular. Hint. I drive Lexus.
I would agree that its a beautiful car, i cant make up my mind about the grille, whether i like it or not! Its too over the top for my liking, too showy and gaudy! If it only had the original Cadillac grille, then this would be my dream car! Everything else about it is perfect!❤👍
5.0 was the standard engine and that is listed on every window sticker. Then if the customer elected for the 5.7, it is also on the sticker as the optional motor. Thanks!
Really?? All that good stuff I went over on this Caddy and all you can do is tell me how YOU say it?? And I did't say "duh" elegance. I said "de" elegance, which sounds more proper than mumbling the whole word together. 2 syllables Don. Sorry this ruined your day. lol
This car is amazing. Great find Big Guy you deserve to be in the automobile industry. No SUV's or Trucks Allowed. Thank you.
I appreciate that!
I wish they would make interiors like that again. Absolutely beautiful.
I agree!
Omg what a beautiful time capsule Bill.
Thank you~
I am absolutely drooling. One of my dream cars for sure.
Well if ever in Myrtle, come on by and I will show you around and you can even take a drive!
fantastic • love the all black
Thanks!
Stunning car. Back when Cadillac stood for something strong
Exactly!
I have a 92 that's in decent shape. It's one car I wouldn't sell. Love driving a real car.
Oh man, the ride is amazing!
I wanna’ cry. Makes me miss my 88 Broughm.
I know, we all have those ones that got away!
What happened? Was it wrecked?

@@christianbugatticgYou are welcome! And by the way, that is a very nice touch to take of the expense of fixing the radio!
That lock switch in the trunk is to lock the access to the fuel tank.

That’s gorgeous. That body style was pretty much dead in 1991.
It was a great body style

Unbelievable vehicle

That is the standard engine and the 5.7 was an option which you can clearly see on the top left.

Is it? Damn I learned something today on the internet!! I will have to make a video for that!
@@christianbugatticg yes the lock in the trunk prevents the gas door license plate to open when it's locked
