    So simple, yet incredibly masterful.
    When I was learning how to weld, my mentor asked if I had anything in particular I wanted to try to make. I suggested a robot helmet, and we got pretty far along before life came in the way of being able to see him again, with a working jaw and 3/4 covering. I mostly work in other artforms now, like animation and illustration, but I still want to revisit making that old design again, because I think working with sheet metal is pretty fun and could be a good way to express neat ideas I've had for a while.

      I went down from 160 to 140. I'm 145 right now. I had an eating disorder when I was younger though, where I for some reason lost the sensation to feel hunger, and this made me not eat for days. I was super skinny. The reason why I'm saying this is because I think my body takes to keto better because my body has already experienced the ketosis to an extreme. Thus why I lost so much weight so quickly.

      The biggest thing you can do is not drink calories or carbs. This means limit your intake to water with zero calorie flavorings, and diet soda which has zero calories and carbs. Negating this from your diet will easily shed excess weight. It's easy to drink carbs and calories, and that's why it's so bad for you.

    Absolutely fantastic step by step video. For those trying to copy the carbon fiber look but down have a laser cuter to make those zigzags on tape, my alternative was to use fabric shears/scissors that have a zigzag edge so they will cut your patterns/tape the same for under $20.

    • @aubreyvictoria320
      @aubreyvictoria320 5 років тому +8

      Pinking shears is the proper term for the fabric ones if you’re searching for them, but also I remember having craft scissors with zig zag edges in elementary school... so those might be available still too haha

      You can actually buy faux-carbon-fiber kits for use with spray paint or airbrushes. They're sold for detailing car parts and come with a mask material that creates a pretty decent pattern between the basecoat and topcoat. Check your local auto parts store.

    Wow...I am watching this only 2+ years later but I am amazed and inspired how this cheap material can be made into such awesome looking armor! Somemore you have been commissioned to do this for a company! Well done! Now I also finally know you are from (Southern?) Germany (your accent sounded like it but your name didn't so wasn't too sure...:P). I am a costumer myself but I have not worked with EVA foam yet, hope I can reach your level one day and make maybe a medieval or fantasy armor using EVA foam (due to high flexibility and low costs). I also am inspired seeing you using a laser cutter (isn't it dangerous?) to make those awesome zig-zag strip-away patterns and dremmel and sewing machine to make the rest of the armor. And how you custom made (!) all those under gloves and boot covers (I thought I would have sourced them cheaply online like manufactured from China, anyway that's just my thought to save time and patience, which you seem to have no problems!). Overall awesome and no surprise that the company has asked you to do it, an expert (and cheerful inspiration to other costumers around the world)! Keep it up! 👍👍👍
