@@sspeedy2859 I had just replaced thermostat but I completely removed it and problem solved may have been a faulty thermostat or the 100% coolant flow is a bandaid to a bigger problem
And make sure you fill your pockets and tool bag with fuse and relays when you are at the junkyard . Because they are expensive in the auto parts store . 😂👍
This helped me. So Here's what happened yo me in my 2008 dodge charger rt. I was sitting at drive through and the ac and lights all went dim. I turn the diagnostic mode on by holding music and compass buttons o the steering wheel. I noticed that the engine temp was at 108 Celsius and my battery was at 12v. So I revved the engine a bit and the volts shot up to 14v and ac fan blew normal. I got home with no issues after. Next day I go to turn the car on and get a check engine light code was p0480 cooling fan 1 control circuit. 9 check the fuses and the green fuse is blown next I checked the fans and one of the radiator fans is stuck.so I turned it by hand but it is really stuck. So what I think happened was the car tried to turn the fan on but it was stuck so ot blew the fuse. Will be gett9ng a new fan.
I managed to blow something on my Charger 2018. Essentially I started the car an forgot to connect the TB, which in turn ignited 3 diagnostic codes. At that point the engine then started to act erratically the moment it seems it would ignite fans instead it just winded up like someone press the gas pedal and would trigger the zigzag electric code on the dash. So no fans turn now when it reaches the temps to spin them. So annoying, and quite critical. Sop what I do not know is; is it a relay? (which one) Is it somewhere closer to the fan itself? I don't thin kit's any temp sensor, but I don't know enough to be sure. I just know that when the fans supposed to kick in, the engine just winds up and no fans turn...
i have one just like this charger and i do live in a hot country most of the year so i would like to keep the car fan runs all the time is it safe to bypass the relay you showd and keep the fan runnes all the time ?
What if the relays and fuses are good but the fans still don't come on by them self if I by pass it they do turn on so I know they work what can it be?
I just noticed my car 07 charger...I don't have the 60 ...does it HAVE to have all the fuses...I'm having problem..it's getting hot..new thermostat..pump looks good...just don't know why it's getting hot

How do you test the hi/low fan relay?
I'm assuming my p0481 is showing up because I apparently don't have the 60amp fuse

Big question I bought one today the fan turns on then does continue working after 1 spin and my resivor over heat and spits water

Overheats with the fan running? Then the overflow bubbles and spits coolant? Sounds like a head gasket to me.

both my fans ooerates slow all the time but they do work so maybe replace those speed relays?

When i bypass relay and computer control my fans work. When fuse is plugged in they dont. Any idea what this could be.
Fan doesnt come on till 200 degrees still doesnt come on try the temp sensor

Are the fans supposed to come on only when using AC or do they come on automatically like some cars after driving it?
The thermostat tells the fan to come on when the engine reaches a certain temperature
