Kangaroos are good at jumping & people would still be shocked if they saw a kangaroo jump on top of a tree. It's like, people know that something is good at that, or is this big or this small, but, like with mooses, they never can properly visualise how much an animal is good at something, or how big it actually is. I love when my bunny does her calculations whenever she wants to jump. Standing on her back legs, calculating the height, distance, etc. And she gets it right everytime, It’s adorable!!!
Yep. Mine will judge the distance and height. She remind me of a cat some. As opposed to my little chihuahua who will miscalculate and fall off the couch
I am always so impressed with how high my bunny can jump. It's really cool to watch, because cats jump high - but they have to get down low and then propel themselves upwards. And bunnies are literally just sitting there and then they're 10 feet in the air lol.
I think that's due to the body plan of the bunny - when standing still on all fours, their hind legs are already in a crouched position, ready to unfold and blast off at a moment's notice.
