This is different, she was sure she will get out at some point, imagine being stuck in a cave and knowing you can't get out.
Filip yes
This is claustrophobia, being scared of not getting out of a cave etc is normal. I dont think anyone would be calm in that situation
Thea no
@@thea9153 i would accept it and would make my last hours as comfy as i can. I think people would do better if they accept that death is a Part of life. I too have anxietys but i fight it and calm my self down. A lot of people just let the fear take over.
@@dragonlord3504 ... umm you can't get comfy, you just feel your own hearbeat that's how tight you are
From someone who is incredibly claustrophobic, this is completely missing the point. The whole reason behind claustrophobia is the fear of “how am I going to get out”, not “wait 5 minutes and it’s over”.
Exactly lol
that's not claustrophobia. what your talking about is called Cleithrophobia and is the fear of being Trapped or getting Stuck
@@infamous3920 oh
People with claustrophobia will always get extreme anxiety when they are enclosed in a small space. Just look at ct scans...the doctors/nurses will tell you that you will be out in 10-30 minutes but they will still experience panic attacks while in the machine.
@@raym7673 you are correct, same idea of being in an elevator or plane.
He should have told her when she was in the box that he was going to nail it shut. I bet she wouldn't have stayed so calm
Exactly

The idea is that she feels calm doing something she's afraid of, clearly you wouldn't take it to a point where she freaks out. Wtf
But imagine if he left her for 4mins
If I get stuck in a sleeping bag or anything small I scream and can’t breath
some people can sleep with the blanket on their head , i can't do that
Mononoke chan Same
Mady Swann same same.
Being stuck in a coffin is terrifying but... BEING STUCK IN A SLEEPING BAG!?!?!?!?! HOW!?!?!?!
Django My friend had a sleeping bag and I was hiding from her the sleeping bag was on her bed the top was zipped and so was the bottom I screamed and since she is a good friend she got me out it was terrifying.
As soon as I felt my breath bouncing off the lid and rebreathing in the breath I just took, I would panic. She’s so brave.
@Warn Gamers than what is she?🙄😑

Ulises480 she is brave. I’m guessing you don’t have claustrophobia so you wouldn’t know how scary it is. Honestly some people feel like they’re gonna die.
I would start screaming and crying if I had to face this.
Same here I was stuck in my bathroom and I had panic attack and almost died😪😂😭

It's a very different story when you're six feet underground in total darkness knowing you're trapped in there and absolutely nobody knows that you're there
Im not necessarily claustrophobic, but if i cant move my arms I FREAK OUT. Probably because if i fall i cant move my arms to not fall lol.
THIS IS LITERALLY ME!!!! ALWAYS THE ARMS! IF I CANT MOVE MY ARMS I FREAK OUT!
Yeah same
I have both, but claustrophobia is more scarier than not being able to move body parts.because she knew that she would get out but imagine getting stuck in a box that is nailed.
samw for me just with my legs if i cant move them or my body i panic.

Same, im shivering rn
I COULD NEVER DO THIS, just thinking about being trapped in a small, confined, space I get scared
I’m also claustrophobic but just knowing that at any moment I could lift off the lid, makes it not scary. I would easily do that
In college I got stuck in a dumbwaiter suspended between two floors of a building. Basically, stuck in a metal box.
It happened years ago and I still don't like remembering it.

I totally understand what you went through!! I couldn't do it, I told them I was claustrophobic and as soon as I saw the tech approaching me with the head lock I stood up so fast, shaking and with tears in my eyes. It was awful!!😣

I got in the MRI tube and told the Tech that I was about to lose my shi*. He would not pull me out and I sure as He** lost my Shi*. Once I got out and got some of my composure back I scared the shi* out of him. He will never leave me in that dam* thing again.
It is very possible to be "brainwashed" for positive reasons in order to overcome fears such as claustrophobia.
I’ve always liked being abled to stretch my arms out side ways, it makes me feel safe and comfortable knowing I can do that but in a small confined space where I can’t do so scare the living shit out of me

I got locked in a car boot by my cousin when I was 5 for a few hours.. My parents had the police looking for me because my cousin said nothing. I'm 51 now and it has effected me all my life. I still wake up at night sometimes and if it's too dark I panic and have to get outside NOW. There's no way I'll go in a cave or wardrobe or anything tight. When that lid went down my heart was doing 90. I couldn't do that. I don't think it can be fixed. It's horrible
there's something called EMDR. It's a type of therapy that taps into your REM state. You should look into it. Maybe it could help you at least a little.
Okay! waterboarding is next...🙋♀️💧
I have Cleithrophobia and i often get sleep paralysis and it is torture
Note: Cleithrophobia is fear of not being able to move which is often mistaken of Claustrophobia
This was literally the most dramatic thing ive ever seen in my life lolol
I was at a place today, walked into the bathroom. The bathroom door lock was broken. Lock me in I kick the door down, broke it in half because of claustrophobia I was breathing heavy, hyper ventilating the fear I felt is the strongest fear I’ve ever felt in my life, now I’m wondering if they’re gonna charge me for a door
I can relate....that door shutting is way too much.....

There is a bunch of pipe work under our bath room and thats the only way to fix plumbing. (Which we constantly do.) I developed a fear for claustrophbia after whatching my dad go thrught the only entrance to the pipes. It is a small room in our basement. 8ft and 4ft long. 1 1/3 feet high. The entrance is a 1x1 square gap, and you cant turn aroud. Compared to whatching my dad do that - (He is a out of shape diabetic.) - she doesnt come close to what I feel.
My heart is beating so fast right now
I don’t know why I look up claustrophobic videos. I almost cry every time I see these. This one I actually cried I need to get over this
Let's act like I can't get out this coffin where I totally can. This will show my fear, yay!
Tbh I couldn't breath well while watching this
This is my fear too! I can't even think about this laying in bed at night or I start to freak lol - also getting stuck crawling through a tight tunnel omggggg
Here 1 point is there if you know someone with you to save and your not alone then the pressure of fear will be less as compare when you’re alone to fight claustrophobia
Please advise
She looks like the natural version of Kim Kardashian
thats what i thought
No she doesn't!
Just being in a car makes me panic I couldn't even finish this video
I don't get anxious or scared when i see or think of enclosed spaces especially through images, but I get really scared and nervous when I myself are in an enclosed space. Is that still considered claustrophobia?
Wow... She is amazing
Had to do 3.5hrs in an MRI tube. Dunno how I made it, few times started to panic but pulled myself together.
Even watching the video of the rear of small spaces I was littrelly shaking
I am claustrophobic and I had this weird dream that I was in a water park tunnel which inclined and it was getting narrower slowly and I got stuck in between and water started filling it completely! Damn that was horrific
I have trouble when a zipper gets stuck at the top....i just rip off the garment off over me head..i also cant wear a necklace...
Have you ever been in the pool and your neck is above the water and you feel less oxygen or chlystrophobia
Yeah something like that. I have Depression and when im really stressed out i get anxiety in the shower or bathtub.(this dont happen very often) I just calm my mind down and fight it. This is easy to say and hard to do but dont leave the situation, fight it to the point u feel comfy again.
JXICE X ya i was in the beach so my neck was above the water I tried to swim really fast trying caught oxygen 😥😥

As soon as he close the casket I felt my anxiety if it was me there I couldn’t I would start hitting the casket, yesterday I got a cat scan done the whole 10 minutes I was praying saying Jesus Christ name over and over today I was supposed to do an mri for 20 minutes inside I couldn’t I started to panic . So happy for her she did it !
I don’t really get scared when i’m in a small space until I realize I can’t get out
It happens to be when I'm wrapped in my sheets, head butting against the wall, the corners of the sheets not found.....I can't wake up from my dream, but suffocate.
How Does air To Breathe Get inside There
Wow I could've just taken a nap😂
The reason why she was able to control her fear is because she knows that the person is next to her and he would open the coffin when she would get scared.
To test if the fear is realy gone we need to test the person by letting her stuck in a lift where you cant see anything outside (basically a non glass lift where you cant see out) and let her or him not know that you are doing it wantedlyy . And see how the person reacts. I'm claustrophobic too
I have mild claustrophobia. I do not fear if it could happen. I only get panic attacks when I am confined. This fear is honestly so dumb if you fear whether it COULD happen. You could literally avoid this fear your whole life
Even knowing you'll be out doesn't make it any less scary, but a claustrophobic person's fear is getting stuck and not being able to get out. 🤙🏾🤙🏾
OMG Sam---I was having Anxiety watching that video--I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO freaking Claustrophobic - Such a Huge accomplishment for you..Congratulations :-)
I wouldnt be afraid of this because I can get out of it by simply pushing it. My fear comes when I cant get out
Now imagine a astronaut getting claustrophobic and knowing it will be months before he can get out. 🤯🤯🤯
im not claustrophobic
im just afraid of being trapped
Unless I deliberately put myself there I cannot do it. Had an MRI this morning and told them get me the hell out of this trap 😂😂😂
she knew she can get out that’s why she’s so calm!
Exactly, if she’s gonna be there forever and know she can’t get out then thats when the real panic comes in-
I got stuck accidentally in my closet once and my parents told me they found me curled up in a ball almost ripping my hair off. I honestly can’t remember what really happened so please be careful
This difference is she knows when she says stop it’s gonna end imagine not having that choice.
You're right Vegas 1987.
Have you overcome your phobias yet??
I'm extremely claustrophobic and I just got back from an MRI that took a half hour
Adults:
"omg this is such a hard thing to do."
Kids who do this for half an hour straight while playing hide and seek:
''Ok lol"
If I was in that place i would have felt the breath get out off my body. I can’t even stay under a blanket for mor then 10 minutes without having a panic attack
Mine is still better....... I can't sit in the last edge in a bus.......... The vibration and when the doors get closed.... Or I sit where there are no windows...... Mheeen....... I feel dizzy and feel like am about to die
M claustrophobic too, wht would we do in a grave
I’m not afraid of small spaces I just don’t wanna be crushed not able to breath or lost or stuck
I would scream in just a second
I have to know the time when it will be over and 100 percent sure that i will be able to get out at anytime i want...even so it still makes my heart beat fast like im gonna start panicking
It's the movement restriction that gets me. I'm okay in small spaces as long as I can freely move my arms and legs. But, the thought of being handcuffed or tied up is pure nightmare fuel for me. Or a rollercoaster brace that pins down my legs and arms. Even a cramped theater seat where there's no room to move my feet or elbows will freak me out to the point that I have to get up and leave.
Exactly, just the THOUGHT if being hancuffed..
My biggest fear is fire (and being burned alive), how do I face those-?!
I was very claustrophobic when I was young, but now you think it's gone
