True. Met him at the merch booth and had a little chat. Awesome guy. Did merch up until 2 minutes before the show started, ran up there, put up on ehell of a show and was back doing merch 2 minutes after the set ended.
Can confirm as well that KKTX does their own merch, at the Charlotte show in May at the Underground I bought my KKTX hat from Isaac himself and got to dap him up. Some of the hardest workin mfs in music rn.

Matt is literally one of the nicest people ever. I've seen KK a few times in Knoxville, TN and he always takes the time to talk to everyone. I remember a few years ago he talked to me about his grandmother passing away for probably 45 minutes but it was a great conversation and he didn't mind one bit. Super cool band and awesome guy.
I remember buying a shirt from Matt in Denver and was shocked that he was the only person at the merch table- I figured he was covering for someone. Super nice guy.
Can absolutely attest to Matt being a dude who sees the people at eye level , genuinely took like 25 minutes out of his day once to just chat at the merch table. I don’t miss them when they come to town because of that in particular. Great dude. Great interview. Great show.

I got a chance to meet these guys at FAJTFEST in Czech Republic and had the pleasure of playing with them the same day, rooming next to them in the hotel, such genuine dudes man and when Matt was talking about running their own Merch to meet the fans? Mannnn I felt that. They know the meaning and importance of interacting with the fans. Amazing band, amazing dudes 🔥

Long story short, The Nomad was Leg day’s album of choice, smashed a dead lift PB.

I was so excited for this episode and I was not disappointed one bit. This is now my favorite episode replacing the one with Manuel Gagneaux. Matt is such a funny dude and it’s awesome that he enjoys talking with fans at the merch table. The camper van talk is like movie type stuff. I think I love Kublai Khan even more now. Fantastic episode Craig.

I met Matt, Issac and Eric when they were in Australia last year and they were the most chill, nicest and appreciative people ever. I was already a massive fan of Kublai Khan and after chatting with them, made me appreciate them as a band even more.

I saw Kublai Khan at a show way back in 2014 in Houston... Matt was running the merch table... glad he still does it. I remember him being super nice. I definitely need to see them play again.
