When I went into sleep paralyses I was dissected by a thing with a bunch of tentacles. I have never been more terrified XD.

xXRainbowCleoXx I haven't seen anything yet, only heard them. I usually rush like hell back to my body and try to keep my pulse calm till the paralysis wears off. The only "creature" I've seen was my cat sitting on the floor staring at me even though she was right at my feet on the bed.

I just found this animation and I didn't know that it had more. I know it's supposed to be creepy, but I actually find it really endearing and quirky in it's own way. Best of luck in your project, this has a lot of potential :)

I thought of an idea for a animation called "Given and Denied" It's about a sentient, motherly-like creature risking her life for the safety of a child that's destined to be an artist.
Here is some ideas,
-It mostly takes place in a factory, a carnival, and a hospital.
-Its stop motion, but there's some sections where it's 2-D animation.
-There's a lot of references to literature, like Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children, Charlie and the chocolate factory, Coraline, and many others.
-The story mostly focuses on the creature, but at the prologue is told by the child.

I have an imaginary character I use in beginnings of stories as a stand-in for actual characters. He's a placeholder until I actually put a character in that role. His name is Neil, he has black hair, and because he's a placeholder, he doesn't really need a face! What the crap! How is that you have a character with the exact same features?! This is truly freaking me out!
Altho, come to think of it, my Neil is around 30 or so, and yours is a teenager, so at least it's not _that_ creepily coincidental

Thanks! Yes I'm a big fan of Tim burton and I was highly influence by Guillermo de Toro"s pan labyrinth too! :) didn't study per say in school their film but watched them with a studying eye for sure
