Hey! I have an idea to improve the tiny keyboard. Older cellphones that had built in keyboards used domed keys so that you can press each key individually. That would fix the issue you’re having!

Instead of using that thick rubber cord you can use copper wires from earphones much much thinner and flexible.

there should seriously be mice and keyboards this small for ~5-6yo children. It's nuts there's nothing appropriately-sized on the market for what is IMO the most important technical skill for kids to learn (working with a PC). Yes they can grow into the smaller stuff available on the market but it's not how things should be.

Wouldn't using an old lenovo laptop mouse nub be the smallest? Just take that and make it standalone, a mount that literally is smaller than your pinkytip
I feel like some glide pads and some silicone push buttons and you should be able to find small rotary encoders that you should be able to just shave the wheel off of to make it smaller and put that on the side or some don't shit. You'll work it out.

I enjoyed all your videos, but this one is actually very close to practical. I got a mouse as a promotional item barely larger than yours and I used it in practice (until the plastic on tiny wire literally disintegrated). Mine had a scroll wheel though.

hi, I'd also like to customize my mouse but i don't know anything about its diagram for every pin on the sensor, luckily i found your vid. can you possibly tell me the diagram of every pin on the sensor, so that i can solder every component in the right pin. thanks
Different sensors may have different pinout, so just look at how everything is connected on the pcb (for example, to what pins the usb wires go, where are there capacitors needed, how the switches are connected). For the cheap mice with single sided board this is not that hard.

I don’t like playing certain games on a keyboard. I panic and lose track of where my fingers are if the game is harder like elden ring. My solution, usb Xbox controller. My suggestion, tiny usb gaming controller.
