The fact that we got to a point in tech that hobbyists can do this at home, things that were once BARRED from us, and technically still is (let's be honest), but there are services like PCBway out there that makes it possible to dream and bring to life these kinds of projects; is really cool.
I think you should 'upgrade' your keyboard, like when you press a key on the keyboard once, it types the letter 'a', and when you press that key 26 times, it types the letter 'z'. It would be very interesting to see someone trying to type something with that 'key'board
@@juskim Maybe, but I think keycode is better because it can press most buttons on the keyboard, while morse code cannot. You can use the function "keyboard.key_to_name(keycode)" in the python keyboard library (if you use python) to convert the number of button presses to the button name and use the function "keyboard.send(keyname)" to send button to the computer If I say something you don't understand, I'm sorry, I use google translate to translate this into English (actually, my English is as small as your keyboard).

So we had a small keyboard. A Small Mouse A Smaller keyboard. And now we have a tiny tiny tiny key that works as a keyboard... WHAT DO WE GET NEXT?!?!?!?
6:40 Bro... I have no idea how you even did that QFN with a hot air station... Let alone the 0201s.... Get a hotplate, like the MHP30, or the MHP50, for like $100, it's so, so much easier, you don't even need flux, just solder paste, and the solder joints will come out so much better. And, you should just be able to power the hotplate with a 100W USB-C PD supply, assuming you already have one of those. And, the components on the other side of the board you can just do by hand, or with hot air. Great project btw!
Hi I was wondering if you have the schematic to the PCB in this video I want to know more about the nrf52840 and how to connect it properly thanks if its possible
I had an idea similar to this quite some time ago, though without the battery. There's a very fringe effort within the ergo community of having adjustable key placement, basically a frame with sliding keys so that a design can fit your hands perfectly; you can probably imagine how complex these would be, given each placement variable, and with slack wire bulk under all of this. Along this idea there was a product that modularized each key into its own housing with a set of contacts, and with a baseboard with contract strips you could effectively place each key individually, these switches were otherwise fully wired via the contact strips; though this resulted in very tall keys and no way to actually secure them outside of magnets and a steel plate. So why not just make a system that's per-key wireless and only transmit power to the switch via an inductive coil? Seems simple enough, except various wireless mesh topologies really are not built for this complexity. Unfortunately microprocessors and wireless isn't efficient enough to make batteries this small worthwhile, and part of this issue is how they communicate with the host; if we went back to interrupts instead of polling, this could potentially be much more practical, except current wireless standards need a consistent connection to function properly, so that introduces yet another issue of figuring out an inconsistent wireless method that wouldn't eat up too much power upon constantly switching back on. If there's ever a decent solution, imagine the possibilities with custom layouts, not only would you have a perfectly ergonomic solution tailored to a specific individual, but you'd also have so much more layout customizability, and when it comes to untreaded layout territory development can be a hassle especially with revisions but this solution could provide a devkit where development only requires a frame to test.
You should make a all keyboard setup where the monitor, mouse, and maybe even a desk is all made to look like a keyboard. (If you take the extra mile you could also make then all work.
Now make the world's most complex keyboard layout. Full dize, pus extra macro keys, an extra function row (I've seen keyboards that go up to F24), etc! 😁
Make a wireless pc controller with gyro, rumble, magnetic joysticks, turbo, 8 buttons on the face 2 back buttons, 2 shoulder buttons, 2 trigger buttons and audio plug and of course...RGB.
