IMHO MAF is one of his better post 2000 albums and I definitely prefer it over CACITBY which I never really got into. A solid album except for the dreadful Dance Tonight which seems oddly out of place. I would definitely buy an archive edition.

Hey Andrew Great Video. I feel Memory Almost Full is one of Pauls better albums in the 2000’s and for me personally it is within Pauls top 5 albums made.
Paul also played June 13 Wednesday night in NYC a secret show at the Highline ballroom. I was there and it was more then epic for me. The show was about 1 1/2 hours long and everyone in attendance got a shirt as we entered. Following the show on Pauls website for the memory almost full album there were 2 or 3 videos from that show. I always hoped a proper release of that show would come to be. Maybe in the archive of the album if there will ever be one.
I just bought a sealed copy of memory almost full on lp and a cassette YES a cassette version of the album from Indonesia . after doing a bit of research it appears that the cassette version of the album was only released in Indonesia.
As far as the lp the one released in the UK had a jacket that unfolded into a poster where as in the USA the jacket was a gatefold I believe.
    Great video thanks for posting.

I have the pink CD-DVD set and I also have the original 2 CD set. Pink is better…more live material, no dialogue

I suspect we have seen the last of the archive sets, unless they decide to do Revolver or MMT. Hope I'm wrong.

If really pressed to name my favorite Paul album, Ram or this one, I think I would have to say this one. This restored the fun to Paul albums that had been lost on Chaos while keeping the songwriting quality. His voice is also great on this album, especially on the rockers.

I hope you find a vinyl i the wilds for under 100 dollars. There 2 versions of the vinyl . the EU pressing and the American pressing. they came and went pretty fast.

This is one example where the Vinyl sounds far superior to the CD . Such a good album , but the CD is ruined by the loudness war .

The biggest problem with this album is the horrendous amount of dynamic compression. I don't know whether remixing or remastering would fix it. It's not a bad album musically. I have the CD/DVD deluxe edition. I couldn't be persuaded to buy it again, though. For those who would, it definitely needs some production work to get to its full sonic potential.

I sold my LP of it a few years ago in its poster sleeve and the Amazon receipt text had transferred itself onto the plastic sleeve it came in , for some reason I had tucked the receipt in with the LP ….interesting to see the original price I had paid for it ….£12
Why didn’t I buy 10 of the buggers?

Did you have your album and receipt inside a PVC album sleeve too. If so this is probably why the your cover got the price on it. I have taken all my albums out of PVC sleeves as they are not good for certain record covers believe it or not especially covers Beatles albums up to Revolver on the back of the sleeves. ua-cam.com/video/P_z5oa24cd4/v-deo.html

@@trevorbrown2813 ..yes it was a PVC cover , but being a poster sleeve it came with it from purchase. I didn’t think back then to change it before storing it away.
There was no real harm done as luckily the printed side from the Amazon receipt was facing outwards onto the pvc sleeve rather than inwards onto the paper sleeve so a quick wash with some IPA got rid of it off the pvc sleeve , none the less I re-sleeved it into a poly bag for the buyer.
On the same topic , I noticed the Bowie album “ Blackstar” came sealed with a stiff PVC sleeve acting as the inner sleeve and in direct contact with the vinyl which I quickly removed and replaced …..god knows how many still sealed copies are still out there slowly misting up ready for someone to open them in 10 years time to a destroyed playing surface.

@@davidheafield1436. I recently took all my Beatle picture disc single out of their PVC sleeves and put them into paper sleeves. I have them over 32 years to 40 years. They look ok. I kept them out of heat but noticed some sleeves were starting to wrinkle.
