I lived in Leesburg from 2001-2019 and grew up there. Went to Leesburg Elementary, Harper Park Middle, and Smart's Mill Middle, and then Heritage (sadly I graduated from HS before Tuscarora opened up a year after I graduated). Was nice walking to school my 8th grade year though! Now I live in Ashburn just north of One Loudoun in an apartment which isn't bad, but I rather put this rent money into a home. Haha
Leesburg, Virginia is a very popular city known for its outdoor outlet shopping mall which could warrant a future parking garage being built for Leesburg mall shoppers. It's considered the midpoint between the urbanized eastern half of Loudoun County and the rural western half of Loudoun County.
I live in Crescent Place, love it for all the reasons mentioned in the video, plus I don't have to cut grass or shovel much snow, just the little bit on my front step and short apron between the alley and my garage door, and putting out the trash is just wheeling the bins about 5 ft. Only downside some might not like all the stairs in a 4 story townhouse, I tell people its like living in a lighthouse LOL I don't mind it though, you're rarely going up and down 3 flights of stairs all at once, and some of the bigger townhouses above the retail shops do have elevators, but most don't. Its good exercise, but not a good place to live for anyone with mobility issues.
Those prices are crazy. Where the hell are these people working to be able to afford 850000 mortgages? High interest rates now mean payments are going to be outrageous.
Coming from someone whos lived in the area since I was born, yeah its nice but traffic is absolutely garbage. The leesburg area grew so fast the traffic and how they direct is is ass. Don't move here unless you have millions to put into shit property thats over priced. A one level house thats really worth 400,000 a most you'll buy 800,000 for. Not worth it go somewhere else.

The cheapest house I saw in the area of Leesburg I’m visiting was 350 and it’s a dump.
Expensive, but a great community!
