Great video. Relocated from northern CA, weather is the hardest part, still try to understand and adjust to true four seasons. Other than the at, we love everything.
I been here for over 30 years (Falls Church area). I'm ALMOST 40 now. I applaud how respectful you are of NOVA.. my video would have be banned immediately for TOS
Glad to find this video. My wife and are moving to North Tazewell in a few months. We already closed on our new home and I am working on securing a new job for myself.
For those of us who live in central and western Virginia, we can only hope that if DC becomes a state, the Nova counties will go with it! Anything north of The Peoples Republic Of Charlottesville is out of step with the remainder of the state.
How can you avoid 66 and 495 if you work in or close to DC? All other roads have traffic lights and it stop and go and it would talk you three hours to go 20 miles
Just south of Manassas, traffic is nowhere nearly as as bad as it is in the Manassas area. Once you leave PW County, I can't speak for those areas. I never been to those parts of Virginia before.
Hello sir! I already live in nova with my parents, I finished my education and am starting a new job in the dulles / Sterling area. It’s over an hour drive with traffic. Any tips on renting ? I’m considering moving out solely to cutdown on commute time!
I dont know your exact situation but I would look to have a roommate. If your going to rent you might as well keep you monthly cost as low as possible. Also a good website for apartment rentals is apartments.com.
I have hoped for that for years. Then NOVA can keep all its tax money from going to Richmond and being spread around as socialist handouts to the rest of the srate.
Don't move here. Too congested with bad drivers who love to run red lights. I prefer to go further out, less congestion, less people and more open land. Northern Virginia means cars, cars and more cars. Whatever the time of day, congestion will surely find you.

No. I already live in a gated community in alexandria and work in NOVA. And you dont seem to know NOVA very well.
I’m just 11 and I’ve lived in northern Virginia my whole life and I love it
As someone born and raised in NoVa, I'd say these are all spot-on!
Thanks a lot!

#1 agent in Loudoun County.
Thanks a lot. Not quite there yet but I'm working on it.
In Jax and potentially getting transferred to NoVa. I love the southern hospitality here. Makes me sad to leave it.
I graduated high school from Jax. Mom still live at Jax Beach. Hit me up if you need assistance. Davemass2@gmail.com
You should have mentioned the big hospitals like UVA and Inova and their many locations
You forgot to mention that in Virginia there is an annual property tax on vehicles. A lot of people who move from other states don’t know that.
I've actually mentioned the car tax in about 4 or 5 other videos that I've done. I even showed exactly what I paid last year for my car tax.
Also, if you drive a hybrid or electric vehicle, there’s an additional tax to compensate for you not paying as much taxes when buying gas. 🙃
One of your best videos, David! Great content! 👍
Thank you so much. This one took a lot of work to make

Nova is also the data center capital of the world. Over 30% of data flows in and out of there every second.
There is a lot of Data Centers in Ashburn.
Epic video David 😎
Thanks Daniel. This was one of the hardest videos for me to complete. This one took me a while to produce.
I was born in Prince William, in the town of Manassas! Forever a Fredericksburger though!!
This is absolutely a golden video !You mentioned everything that I am interested in knowing when moving to a new state
Thanks for watching it. I put a lot of work into this one..
Starting a new job in the Chantilly area but have to drive from Laurel MD. Any recommendations?
I would move to Virginia. If you have to be in Chantilly at 9:00 am that could easily take you 90 minutes to get to work.
@@LivinginNorthernVirginia understandable. Thankfully it’s government so i can flex my schedule
Move closer to work
@@LivinginNorthernVirginia I ended up moving to Virginia and love every bit of it lol. Those 2 hour one way commutes were killer
Great video!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for such an informative video! We are planning to move to NOVA next month!
Awesome! Where are you relocating from?
Does NOVA have Millionaires row if so where?
i want a new career currently working at wmata but want higher paying job
whats the traffic like South of Manassas throughout the rest of VA? decent or bad?

You forgot I-95 in Woodbridge. Lol.

Great video! Do you have any about the LGBT community in NoVA?
I know there 100% is a LGBT community in Nova and DC. Thanks for watching my video !!
No there is not. One place in Arlington. Must go into DC for LGBT community, though plenty of LGBT folks un the burbs.
Every time I hear “Active Adult Community”, for some reason I picture swingers!😂
Too funny
peoples republic of nova. petition to kick Loudon, Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William, and Stafford county out of the state.
I have hoped for that for years. Then NOVA can keep all its tax money from going to Richmond and being spread around as socialist handouts to the rest of the srate.
Northern Virginia is to expensive for my taste i love Richmond the top of the South

when I think of Nova I only think one thing: ARROGANCE
Dude- stop. This is not an accurate depiction of Northern Va. 10-2023
Don't do it!
hahahaha. What a joke.
Great video!
Thanks for checking out my channel!!!
