Thank you for sharing this video my friend. I am now diving into my Bali adventure, setting some points up where to go and what to experience. Cant wait. I am already feeling it. I will watch the activity video next.
Hello. Thanks for the helpful video!! Quick question for ya, have you stayed at Bisma Eight Ubud? This place looks interesting and if you stayed there, i’d be really interested in hearing your thoughts on it. Thank you
Hi... Bisma 8 was on my short list but I decided not to stay there after doing more research. It's been a good 18 months since I did that resrach so I cant recall exactly why I decided not to try it... sorry I cant be more helpful. Agree that it looks cool.
Thank you for sharing. Im planning to go to Bali in Apr and to propose my gf. Now im choosing between Alila uluwatu or Soori. I think im prefer Alila now but one thing im worried about is the place gonna be too crowded. Any advice between this two? Like dinner or something. Thank you
wow - congrats and I'm honored to be asked. Your gut is right... the Alila is more spectacular, the Soori is smaller, more private and intimate. I can think of a few spots at the Soori where you can find a quiet space... like the temple that looks down over the resort, or the seating area in front of the bar... just some rando thoughts. There is one spot at the Alila that overlooks the pool and no one goes to (I went up there to get some shots). If you email info@swankguide.com I'll send you a couple screen grabs so you know what I'm talking about.
Great question next region I’ll address that. I’d say Alila Uluwatu and Hanging Gardens would be good. The Soori is best beach option and I’m 90% sure kids are welcome but it’s on the quieter side
One question which is still in my mind: How do you go to eat, if you are in the middle of the isle (f.e. in tree houses)? In the picute you cant see any other villages or whatever. So moving around with a vehicle seems difficult. Are there still villages, which arent filmed ordo the owners provide something?
Almost every resort has one or more restaurant. Some resorts are in walking distance to outside restaurants, some u may need to drive a few minutes. I have in depth review - in a separate video - for each hotel - and cover food options
Hot sure I understnd the question - do you mean can you drive or is it easy to find a driver? I didnt drive in bali, hotels can arrange a car to drive you@@letsplaysmithumor9872
@@SwankGuide Not surprised about those two. Actually surprised they were even in consideration for your top 10. Surprised that the Mandapa Reserve, Four Seasons, Bulgari didn't make it to your top 10. I've stayed at Amankila twice. First time there were no tankers. Once the tankers arrived it ruined the views and I have never been back since then. I am considering Como Shambala, but it looks very dated. The grounds look fabulous, but does the place feel dated and worn?
Others have said that so I've been doing that now for a few months... but just so you know... hotel prices swing wildly by season and demand... so my price guidance is ment to be relative
Amankila is last? Damn, that was the most beautiful resort I've been to lol. Well, it is pricey though. I've heard a lot from the forum about acapella but seeing this video, the clips from Bali hanging garden seems more appealing. I will watch your acapella and Bali hanging garden videos.
best maybe to say these are 5 star resorts costing a minimum of 300 euros a night so people do not have to waste time. Happy for you that you think 300 euros/night is cheap!!!!! Justa little arrogant!
Funny you say that b/c in my upcoming Costa Rica series I'm starting to do best luxe, best midrange and best bargain resorts for that reason.... I understand that everyone has different budgets. In Jamaica... I did a $100 and $200 challenge - can you stay at a good resorts, eat 3 meals and do an activity for under $100 a day or $200/day... I was able to find 2 places that meet those criteria. I'm always trying to find bargain places... but the through line on all my content is that the design needs to be good and there needs to be something special about it... that's why I created this... to help people find cool places to stay. Pls appreciate how much wok that entails... the lower the cost... the harder it is to do. I can find really cheap hotels.. that's easy... but finding stylish ones is hard. So I try my best. The Umua can be under 200 Euros a night.

Bro congrats ‘ I’m actually doing my research as we speak’ I’m also trying to propose to my GF
At first, I was unsure, but the report on Azarium helped figure it out.
love that Auarium
Thanks for the video, any thoughts on which of these resorts is most family friendly? Thanks!

Man says some of the best are the most affordable, then posts all the most expensive 5 star ones.
maybe u didn't watch the whole video... 2 of 8 hotels are often under $200 a night, maybe you have a different definition of affordable
one is under 200a night - but bring bug spray as you will be bitten to death!

Canon r5 and iphone 14
@@SwankGuide make sense. Just curious, do u shoot LOG or just normal camera settings in 4k?
May I ask abbout the bugs ???.Or mice?
I dont recall seeing any mice. Mosquitos are a thing... bug replant usually solves that.
