Appreciate the feedback! I’ll definitely start incorporating some of the tips you gave into my own work!! Also, I think this would be an awesome series to start! Maybe a weekly round up of some creators you find do awesome work!
Thanks for submitting my friend! If you’re not following me on Instagram I’ve starting doing a feature Friday on my Instagram sharing photos I like from the week. 👊🏼 Might make this an annual thing for the Instagram review if it goes well! Cheers!
Seems like many folks are going for the dark and moody look like beckiandchris or peter McKinnon's petespiratelife page, but just ending up with underexposed pictures. IMO that look only works for certain compositions where you can still use the full dynamic range (ex some part of the image is still pushing the bright side of your histogram even if your histogram is left heavy). It'll be nice to see a tutorial on how to achieve that dark look without going into the underexposed look. For me that involves a lot of masking, then bringing the blacks up in the tone curve, adding some blues and bringing the luminance up in the shadows of the color grading panel
Thanks to everyone who shared their profiles, I didn't have the guts to but learning a lot! Someone's grandpa once told me 'dress for the job you want, not the job you have' I guess it could be applied to how we 'dress' our IG pages
Really love this concept! maybe for the next video you could even have the owner of the pages on a zoom call and you do rapid 5 minute advice sessions!
Great video! I will say that sometimes overexposed highlights can be creative decision, you needn't always keep them exposed (whether in camera or during the edit).
Thanks for the feature man! And yes, the sunset stuff is definitely a little oversaturated. The sky was absolutely bonkers that morning and I couldn't help myself. And I was fortunate enough to photograph Ken at Susquehannock Trail Performance Rally: STPR in September at my first rally event. I've learned so much from you and your videos. #kb43ver
For Motion/panning shots I shoot anywhere from 1/100th, all the way down to 1/5th, the "hit rate" is definitely less when you get really low, but it makes for some wild photos. Typically for some nice panning shots I can shoot consistently at 1/30th-1/25th. It takes a LOT of practice, and even takes time to "warm up" each time I shoot.
Hey I’m Ragensf yes the model photography is definitely a talking point! Really appreciate giving me the time and feedback. Good luck in your future of photography and everything else, I’ll be watching 🙏🏼
Hey man! Thanks for responding. Firstly, hope you know I’m not throwing any shade! Your insanely talented, just used those photos as an opportunity to bring awareness to my thought process around how I brand myself. Much love brother and I appreciate you trusting me with your work. 👊🏼 Out of curiosity, when you post that work are you thinking about the long term branding? Or is that the type of work your hoping to attract? Let us into the thought process?
@@TheCarCreative hey no not at all, it’s really handy to know a professional who’s got a lot more experience in this field to see their view and what it looks like in your eyes. Very helpful for myself. I started working and currently work with a lot of influencers so it’s kind of the scene Im in, alot of social media management so the “hype” aspect of models and influencers cars seem to work and get a positive response with clients I work with.
Hey dude, you often talk about preserving the highlights and the shadows of images so I am curious- do you ever use exposure bracketing to create more hdr photos? Obviously this only works with static shots, but I would love to know your thoughts on the technique.
I love how you took your time with every page and found things to like and critique. It really shows that you care bro! It would be such an honor to be in your next video @stellervisuals
Thanks brother! I definitely do care. Had hundreds of submissions so wasn’t the easiest haha! But enjoyed it and hopefully added value to the space. 👊🏼
Currently I'm exploring different types of photography, particularly street and car photography. Unfortunately, I don't have access to friends with impressive cars, and my attempts to work with dealerships have been unsuccessful. Therefore, I've been experimenting with taking pictures of parked cars and capturing random car panning shots. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on developing my channel and strategy. Thank you, and I admire your work. Looking forward to your feedback.
@@TheCarCreative ofc bro! We follow you because we love your content and we admire your style what can be better to us than get some review from u? It could also provide us some boost and grow to be seen on your channel. As and amateur car photographer I would be honour to be review by u, keep doing your hard work
9:51 this is a Forza video game pic 😂 absolutely amazing that you didn’t notice it. Still a beautiful shot
Yeah😅
I'm going to add to this, for someone that's always on the "media spectrum" how can you not even realize that the whole image isn't "actually real?" 🤣
The forza horizon 5 photo being reviewed killed me. Proves how good in game photography is getting
9:34 I believe was a pic taken in forza horizon 5, I think he does a bit of in-game photography.
It seems as though that may be the case, 🤔 interesting! I guess it’s tough to shoot raw in forza haha my bad!

Love it. Thanks for being a part of the community! 👊🏼
I don't shoot cars, and I learned alot, thanks Alex!
Thanks Davey, glad you were able to get something from it, given that you are an expert!
Something i have found when trying to post raw on instagram is it gets really blocky, how do you counteract that
Awesome reviews!
Tried not to go too hard… it’s the Canadian in me 😅
You can't shoot in RAW in Forza Horizon 5 game @09:10
I'm using an A6000, what would be a good lens for automotive photography?
Sigma 30mm is great 👍
