- In this video I have purchased a Ferrari Daytona SP3 building block kit from AliExpress which seems to be identical to Lego. Heres my review and what I thought about it

Recently I bought the McLaren F1 set on Aliexpress and it was amazing and huge, no parts were missing. Thanks for the video, Daytona would be my next order from Aliexpress
I have seen the new Merc F1 large set on Aliexpress as well for around £65 before tax tec.
@@adrianlynch9435 yup, Ive seen that too, but it was just preorder, will wait for the reviews
I just purchased two sets of Lego's from aliexpress and they should be arriving soon! The excitement got me searching and I landed on this gem. Love the way your explained everything and how excited you are!
PS: This might just be my next set. Do you mind sharing the link or adding it on the group description? Thanks! :)
You'll really enjoy putting those together. The best bit of advice I can give you is, dont rush like I did. Its a horrible feeling when you realise that you have to partially dissemble the model because you realised you missed a part out or used the wrong bit.
Ive now put a link on the decription.
This is why when possible, I do spend the extra $3-5 and get the version with the physical instruction book. Most of them are condensed to some extent, but they usually do come with 1:1 part diagrams so you can quickly make sure the axle is of the correct length. Also you probably don't need to email the seller for the pdf since it looks identical to the one that you can just download off Lego's website.
I do like prefer the PDF version of instructions but as it gives me the ability to zoom in at times for detail. I never knew that it could be downloaded from the Lego site though.
Thanks
@@ziggy6151 When you go to the product on the Lego website under the price are 3 clickable options, the bottom of these says building instructions. Also even if it is a retired product for the newer sets the building instructions are still available.
can u give the link for this car?
You could always download the instructions in pdf from the Lego website ? Free. I have been buying with paper book instructions but using the lego pdf on the PC to build due to the ability to zoom in on certain sections is very helpful.
Someone else also mentioned that. I never knew
there are many kits on aliexpress and there is variation in quality. Since you already built yours, could you link to the one you bought?
Hi
I just looked back on my orders for the link and its showing as 'no longer available'
Between me and my friends we've ordered a few kits now, all from different suppliers for AE, and they've all been fine. I'd say as long as you go for a kit that is like for like part amount wise, you'll be ok
could you put the link of the page you got the lego sets from in the description for the next time?
I know I should do that but it feels like I am trying to sell something but perhaps with my next build, I will add a link
I could not deal with that. Too much consumption of minutes. I am still working on that 200 plus year old French, Henry Freres, comptoise clock. It's going on the end of the 2nd year. Nice to see you posting!
Hi Artemus.
I think Ive got a hyperactive brain which need constant stimulation to keep it working 😆
Ive seen your short videos of the clock youre working on. Its very interesting, would be nice to see more
I just watched your upload dedicated to me 🙏thats an unbelievable amount of detailed work you are doing there. Keep the uploads coming. I am looking forward to seeing it when its eventually finished
This kits on Ali are surprisingly good quality. I bought a Lambo and a Porsche not to long ago. They very much worth it.
I totally agree. I'm thinking of getting the Porsche next
@@treetopspider That was my 2nd buy. I got a Porsche 911 RSR. It came in a box, Its really big and I think its very detailed. One of the headlight has a defect, but it was very fun to build and was it cheap.
Got me this kit turning up tomorrow as well as the BMW motorbike (r1100 it?), I've completed the Yamaha MT-10 and Mercedes F1 car in last three weeks.
You're right it is so addictive but hey, 50quid of drink for a few hours and a sore head or hours and hours lf me time!
Hahah perfect way of looking at it. Youre next headache is where are you going to keep all these huge models 😄
@@treetopspider yup, my wife is concerned about that. I might take them to pieces and organise the bits and rebuild them again after we've moved
Great build. What gets me the most are the people that designed all these parts to come together to make this model. It's mind bl
It must take ages. The way that all those little pieces fit together to create a whole model like this is amazing
...and the people who designed it will not get sigle cent from it, because chineese made this copycat (as they always do) and you boy it from them, so thanks a lot.
@@mach3reached Yes, that's the downside of buying of Ali, it's all fake and copied. Also you don't know if the plastics meet European regulations and what they are made from. Could be having all sorts of cheap, poisoned st5uff I nit. Wouldn't be the first time they use that for coloring the parts.Like cadmium to get that nice bright yellow colour.
I just read someone already mention the lego app 🙏
Given that it appears to be an exact copy of the Lego Daytona, could you not just use the Lego instructions?
yes you can apparently
Nice❤
This was a tough one
