Maybe part of it is sort of addictive gambling tendency, part being curious about the content and figuring out how worth 1000 runs is and part being happy for the loot

High runes seems to be so common these days since patch 1.13. Played an awful lot of diablo 2 on patch 1.10/1.11, and finding a higher (not even high like ber-jah+) was super super super rare drop. Very nice nostalgic videos man!
Well, its not that big of a difference since the patch only doubles the already microscopic chance for HRs. Say it was 1/60k of a rare mob, and now its 1/30k.
Played since rhe game came out. 0. Rhis season i dropped 2 jah, vex, 2 ohm, ist, sur... Either i got very lucky or drop rates bexame amazing.
@@ssause Haven't found even a 1/4 of your rune drops in at least 5 years of true grinding those days. Doubled they say..? By the way as far as I remember, in later patches they made any hell monster possible to drop ANY rune. Yes, you could theoretically get a zod or farm enigma runes from act 1 fallen accidentally while clearing Blood Moor for some great old pvp action..of course with super low drop.
@@ProgaNz if i remember correctly, in blood moor you can drop as high as Vex. Best place for up to Jah is Council, and up to Ber, Low Kuraast chests, as far as i remember. Anyway, theres a lot of info in that matter on the internet nowadays

Nice runedrops in the beginning. I used to run AT with my blizz sorc when i played ladder but i never got any HR's from there.
This is actually my favorite place to farm. I started last week with no top end Merc gear then found 2 eth CVs, eth 4 os cryptic axe, two new ebugged fort bases, and this morning I found my very first astreons ward. 277mf on players 7.

hey man, i started watching your videos and decided to start playing again with a similar setup. Although, do you know if pluggy enables ladder only uniques, not just runewords? Such as griff, cerebus, fathom, etc.

I think you are a rather lucky player. Like the movie Unbreakable where they explore the range of durability of bones: one end of the spectrum being easily broken the other being unbreakable we can use that in a LUCK discussion. I have run Ancient Tunnels several thousand times on characters with 325% to 400% MF and I have never found any runes higher than UM in that dungeon. Shako? It took me YEARS to find one. Mavina Diadem...never have found one. I am just jealous. Thanks for posting :)

Man, some items are so damn rare. 1000 AT runs at players 7 and no griffons, wind force, d web, etc. You have to put in so much time to find these.

Skiller charm, skiller charm - I don't think I have ever seen seen one since 3 weeks, when I started playing D2 after ~~ 14 years. Then I watched this vid, I'm like: let's farm Ancient Tunnels.
The very first run, popped one of the urns at the entrance: +1 to Masteries charm for my Barb, sh1eeet ! Btw, Ancient Tunnels is an awesome place, much better than any other one in my opinion, nothing is going to kill you, large packs, area is not that big. Plus I'm running with Lawbringer, which renders undead useless :)
Did you just farm only bosspacks/champions or also white monsters?

Wouldn't it be better to use nigma instead of vmagi to get mf and not spend 1 point in teleport but to use it in synergies for whatever build cold/ligh? Always enjoying your d2 videos.
I would be thrilled with those drops. Did about 150 AT runs so far, not a single decent find...
I got bored after just 3 lower kurast runs and did AT with my blizz sorc. I luckily got Zod on my 3rd run!

Dbrunski! Love your videos! As a somewhat newish Blizz sorc, who is kind of getting geared better. Just got a occy, monarch spirit, and a vipermagi. I feel like I’m starting to do some good damage but should I be running ancient tunnels? I know anything can drop there but I feel like my character needs a lot of things still. Like an arach, chancies, war travs, shako and some nagels. I’m just so confused on what spots I should really focus on. I’m level 83 now. I’m just not consistent with where I’m farming. Hope someone can help but either way, love the content!
hell andariel and hell mephisto are the go to locations for items like shako, war travs, nagel rings etc. Once you have that basic gear you then want to farm a v 85 area like ancient tunnels for the more rare to find items like a deaths fathom. hope that helps.
Do you farm the entire area or only the boss and champion packs? Also you mention used tele on random popables does that increase your chance of finding stuff or just purely for speed?
Stuff can always drop from popables, so the more you open the better chance you have of finding something good. If you're on a sorceress, it's just that much quicker to be able to open them with telekinesis rather than running or teleporting over and doing it on any other char type.

My very first Paladin of high level, this dude gave me an uppd Guardian Angel. It was the best armor id ever seen, so i dumped ALOT OF POINTS into STR to wear it lol (196)

Drop rates are still absurd. Remember playing ladder like 5-6 years ago, thausands runs on mephisto, ancient tunnels, thausands hours and i managed to find Vex, Gul, and Ohm. Thats just too much

Hey, human bot basically means he himself did the runs but he did a lot. Bots usually can do runs like this non stop and people can't compete but doing a thousand or something is like you have to be a robot to pull that off. I think.. its at least the gist of it. The ring is quite rare, just not very useful for any class or used in trading. What do you mean by synergy bonus' ?

If he does it really quick - only kill the boss packs and check the chest, then I think 2 minutes each. So 2000 minutes = roughly 34 hours. Again, not 100% correct - don't quote me.
how do you have decent enough gear to still kill the things with 350% MF? Super high end stuff like shako/occy, or a bunch of MF charms? Both?

Okay, so I stopped playing D2R because of my urgent need to collect everything I want to keep. With plugy. So I am back at D2 Lod 1.14d. I never count runs but I do keep a holy grail list and after farming AT for about 30 hours I got nothing more than a Gorefoot, some even more useless Uniques, 7 Cathan's Sigil. I got a Shael, a couple of Tal's and Ral's, a Eld and nothing more else. RNJesus is playing tricks with me and I hate it. Especially seeing your amazing luck on your first round rune drop. FU. Nah JK, I know how it works. But still, FU /s. Edit: Yes, On Hell difficulty. And I still love your content. Keep going my man (L)

Within your first 200 runs you had better drops than I got out of 2 full ladder resets farming AT more than 3k times each ladder... I hate that place its cursed for me to not drop anything.

Binge LK and AT. Found 3 there within a year.
I have now played 2 and half years on my holy grail. Most of my farming has been in ancient tunnels, pits and chaos sanctuary. I have found 1 Lo rune in ancients tunnels on my sorc, which along with my pala, barb, necro and amazon all are lvl 95+. I have recorded 10k tunnel runs, 10k pit runs and 10k chaos runs. Is there a possibility that something is wrong with my game? The statistics seems to be way off and soon I have no longer faith that I will be able to find any runes. I haven't found any runes higher than um in a year. I refuse to back to lower kurast as those 20k runs were too boring.

So I started playing d2 again after a 5 month break or so.. the first few monsters (regular) I killed, dropped me an Ohm rune LOL. after that I did 30 more runs and found only shit :P well I found immortal kings armor.. but I found enough of those already
