Ortofon Concorde mk1/mk2 + nightclub stylus
Allen & Heath Xone:23C mixer (with DVS internal mod)
Video recorded on iPhone 12.
Audio recorded with Audacity via mixer record output (as DVS mod removes USB recording ability) - sorry for the slight noise noticeable in the quiet parts.

I really appreciate you putting the track list with time stamps in the description. I am trying to find a track I heard in a mix either on your channel or Hebbs channel. I can hear the lead in my head but don’t know the name of the song. I only remember that it was kinda similar to Airscape -L’Esperanza but it wasn’t that.

Hands down to one of the best trance sets I've heard in a while! Just found your channel and subscribed. This might be odd, but you reminded me of my father. He's the one that got me into trance music and used to mix his vinyls on Sundays. Unfortunately, he passed away 3 years ago and trance music is all I got to remember him by. Keep up the good mixes!

Yes, Saltwater hadn’t arrived at the time of recording that mix. It will definitely be in mix #5.
I’m trying to spread the mixes out a little, for reasons that will become apparent (to the eagle eyed) in the next video… I’m aiming for a full mix towards the end of every month, with maybe a little bonus here and there!
As I mentioned to AW below, I’m wondering if I could do a premiere that would be a bit more friendly to my followers in the more distant timezones. It was a blast last night so would be great to share that with more people if possible.

Hi Jon, i finally got round to listening to this just now. fantastic track selection and mixing!
I can see that you eventually got used to mixing on the Audio Technica's. Seems that the only way to mix on them is by riding the pitch. I guess that when you touch the platter they try to overcompensate, hence the sudden jump in speed?
Thanks, I had a blast putting it together. Yes indeed, hands off the platter is the best approach. The only trouble is that when you bring the pitch back there’s a very good chance it’s nowhere near the speed it was at before due to the huge steps.
Not all bad though, as the pitch riding is way better once both tracks are in anyway, so I find myself doing it on the reloops now from time to time.
I keep wondering if I could do a premiere to line up better with some further away time zones like yourself and AJ. I’ll keep working on it!
