You must drink more coffee than me. I am amazed how fast your hands move lol. The detail involved in the build truly impresses me. I put some of my factory instruments up for sale on Craigslist last night. Thanks again.
Hahaha.... Only in the morning then it's green tea until I change for beer ;)
This is great. I love your methodical approach to handling challenges, like the 2 degree up angle on the top of the tail block. And the selection of mahogany for the kerfs to add some warmth and resonance to the instrument. Thanks!
Thanks Tomy, these are some really nice videos. I've learned a lot not only about the individual projects you are working on, but also by watching the methodical approach you take to your work. And yes that is one very nice rim you just made! Best, Giselle
Giselle Marie thank you for your interest Giselle, it means a lot to me!
Wow, it's coming along..what a massive amount of work, right? You're the best Tomy!!!
ESCAGEDO WOODWORKING thanks Eloy, yes it is a lot of work.. but fun work;)
Can't wait to see the next episode Tomy...Maybe one day I'll try an acoustic guitar...maybe..wow,
I'm loving this series. Thanks
You're welcome! Thanks you..
Really nice work and explanation, Tomy. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!

Matt Lane thanks Matt!
Another episode in a very good tutorial! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Gerrit.
thank you
Nice
Very interesting!
Cactus! workshop thanks Carlos !
OK Tomy, you spoiled me for weeks with these updates... now I am suffering withdrawals. I have learned I like the flatter neck profiles in the back. I have 4 mandolins and I am either going to have to rasp file the back of my F style and refinish it or sell it. I use to love it but find it uncomfortable now... I keep looking at that F5 on your site and I want to play it when I pick this one up (or sooner if can be arranged ;) )
Barry Wilson the wild fire, we can do either.. depending if we can get our schedule to match up.. the neck on it is a v shape with a 12radius on the fretboard.
It would be good if you could bring one of your favourite neck profile. I could go off of it to design yours.
sounds like we need to cross up. do you make custom cases too? This beauty is going to need one. My gigging is slowing down. weekends are best or evenings. I have both radius and flat fretboards, I don't find that as big of an issue as I do the back
