@@kubka4 think they are talking about WG hopefully adding a “Super ELC AMX bis” or maybe “ELC AMX ter” at tier 6 with the same high pen 90mm, same super high horsepower it used to have when it had scout MM at tier 5 as a later well deserved reward. You may think that adding it as a tier 6 would be a downgrade but the old ELC AMX got matchmaked like it was tier 6 anyways, so it would actually be a lot stronger, having the improved hitpoints and gun handling, all scouts used to work like that with MM.

I recently watched your PZ B2 video from back in 2016, because I picked it up in the daily deals, and it's staggering to see how much more comfortable you've become in front of the camera. you've grown so much as a person as well as a UA-camr.

I used to adore this tank back when it was in the tech tree. One of my most memorable games I ever played was in this tank. Burned down a KV-3 with one HE round through the engine deck, took out three artillery and two TDs for a top gun.
My best VK28.01 game was few years ago, when it still had the 105. I ended the game with Top Gun medal, with 5 of the 6 kills on 1hp left, on himmelsdorf. only HE fired.
It only reminds me of when the German lights were the fun line, full of interesting tanks and weird strategies. even the SP-1C was more fun back when it had an auto-loader.

I disagree about sniping, back in the days, I sniped with this little rascal and the curved angle of the shell allowed it to inflict larger HE damage on opponent, plus, the he HE was really good to snipe tracks and pummel them to death with constant HE damage
Sniping with derp guns is fun, especially if you can get away with it. Half their hit points gone from a shot across the map. Even satisfying if it was a moving target and your leading shot lands perfectly on the side
@@_rocketplays_ This is why I fell in love with my Hetzer. Sniping at the limit of render a rampaging light or tracking a medium rush for arty to devour with my derp. Now sadly with HE changes, Hetzer is lucky to be able to harm arty at the most.
This was my favorite tank back in the days and they brutally ruined it. Now they're giving it back to me, when HE is nerfed and every derp tank sucks? It's like spitting in my face and telling me to treat it as a balsam.
5/4 years ago I watched a video of QB playing ru251, I really wanted the tank after that, it was my first tech tree light tank, when I got this tank I discovered the mechanics of HE, it was so funny shooting M103's in the back, good times

Not only do I love light tank gameplay, but I also have been a big fan of most derp guns/tanks like the M4, the Wolverine and the Pz. IV H f.e. since I singed up in mai 2018. I didn´t really care much about the well deserved rewards the last years, although I think, they are all nice 2 have - that´s ok with me. But this one here hurts my little tanker heart, I have to admit. :´( Don´t get me wrong, it´s not that I´m in need of an additional premium light. In fact, I would probably give another one away, if I could get this one instead. Because this one - unlike most others - seems to be a fun tank to play. Look, I´m happy for everybody who will get it - sort of... It´s just that combination of everybody looking forward to it + knowing I will - AGAIN - not get it (though I really, really would love to have this one) + also having a friend who will be getting it, though he hates derpy guns and doesn´t play tier 6 very often at all ... isn´t that ironic!? ... feels like a punishment to me. But thinking about it, the real punishment will probably be having to play against this cutie for a whole year... oh no! :-(((( Now, THAT feels bad, man! Merry christmas from Germany, anyway. That tank was super fun to play ! I miss the good old days. Had no problems driving a Tier V Light Tank, giving colonoscopies to Tier X Heavies & TDs. I liked it more than the original T-50-2. The old Chaffee had it's benefits over the lil' VK derp-scout, but it wasn't as fun. Will have to re-download and re-install WoT, but we all make stupid mistakes sometimes. Getting back in this game is going to be one for sure, but I'm kinda looking forwards making it :D

One time I used this tank and an MT-25 came out of no where. I fired my 105mm at it and blew it up nicely, the next thing there was a message from the opposing MT-25 that read "Bullshit!" Yep, derped to hell!

Got my first tier 8 kill with one of these, on Karelia. Stalin 3 driver was tunnel visioning on our Tortoise, giving me the chance to slam 2 H.E.A.T. rounds up his jacksie. Boom!! Strange that I still remember it.
I agree. As soon as I checked the number in Tank gg, I felt that it was the best annual reward I've ever received. It's not op, but it's definitely have a strength.
Maybe the next Well deserved reward could be MT-25 with autocannon O-I exp with the 300 alpha gun but in the tier6 There WG, got u covered for 2 more years!
I would not take the exhaust, but something to speed up the aiming bloom. You need to fire from stationary unless circling so anything that allows you to get back behind cover sooner is - in my opinion - better.
gun laying drive sucks, use rotation mech, it effectively speeds up aiming by 10% like GLD anyways, plus the bonus on snapshoting and firing on the move+firing between shells for autoloaders/autocannons/low tier high RoF guns
The ap has almost no pen heat has only 104 and is not enough to pen tier 6 or tier 8 tanks from the front most of the time and the he changes have really taken a big turd on the 105mm he shells. This tank is almost unplayable
Tier 6 skirmish was flooded with these buggers last night. As a Type 64 driver, i had to be very careful to keep range and keep them moving. Of course the usual suspects still seemed to seldom miss.
QB says he's tilted in 1st battle because he didn't swap the AP and HE shells around (to make 1 key HE, 3 key AP), and then announces in 2nd battle 'hey look, I've swapped the ammo keys around'........and then has them swapped back for the 3rd battle.
I hope the old ELC EVEN appears too, that was such a troll tank...the korean player showed us incredible replays with it. It was hilarious to see the EVEN got close to a heavy tank and the freaking flipper was below the gun.
i opened up some WoT just to play some, and the first game i got into, i was a top tier tank destroyer, tier 7 game and literally 5 of these tanks on each team. i shat my pants.
Try it again, but with the stock gun. Pen is low, but the DPM is like the Cromwell. With the low alpha, its like a machine gun. It also has better gun depression. If you meet another light tank, ram it and auto-aim, and hold the left mouse button. Crazy fun.
75mm gun on this tanks isnt bad, but derp was more fun. It has gun values comparable to tier 6 medium, its reasonable fast, it has one of best if not best viewrange at this tiers and decent camo. Its still, in my opinion, one of best lights in the game.
"Can tier 6's really face tier 4s?" On the NA server yes, actually quite common really. I run a lot of tier 4s just to breath and relax without getting constant headaches an mass credit loss on defeats. I run into tier 6 tanks a lot, not all the time, but it happens enough to be considered common. Dealing with tier 6s is a pain though, unless someone bigger is drawing fire, end up getting knocked out really dam quickly.

In your game you are in this tier VI tank with all tier VI tanks. I have just played a few games in this and it gets matched with mostly tier VII and VIII tanks which can easily one-shot this tank. It would be great if like the Valentine II it was not matched over its tier.
If I could choose a spot in time, I would choose the day WoT was released, I only joined in 2018 (I played Blitz since 2014, and boy has it changed), and barely got to play pre-1.0 WoT. Another thing I noticed is that nowadays, WoT is almost impossible to grind out every single tank due to the large amount (especially if you're F2P like me) compared to back then, where they had less XP and Credit cost.
I use to hang back to protect arty to hunt the enemy lites making arty run, then support a flank mid game and make a arty run myself at end game. It's no longer one of the fastest, it's huge and the HE nerf hurts. Should still good for a tracking shot and ram. Thats what I will be setting this tank up to do. There was an infamous player that only played this tank, but have forgotten the name.
Always loved the 105 HE derp on all my tier 5-6 tanks (loved flanking and he to side or rear :) ) but I just remember they kept on nerfing the gun and tanks rather than nerf the OP HEAT rounds :( was a very sad panda (I do not play now but with HE nerfs I doubt I would be any happier)
It's interesting, how one of the best Russian players / streamers in his review on this tank went on a completely different route - he upped stabilisation and camo in all possible ways (silenced exaust + vents + stabilisation). So, obviously, there are more than one styles of playing it.

This will be nowhere close to what it used to be, due to the HE nerf. You used to be able reliably damage heavy tanks like E-75, shooting pretty much anywhere, as HE used to *almost* always do some damage. The tank still might be fun to play vs Tier 6, we will see...

I have the Pz. II, I have the Pz. I C, I have Luchs and leopard and now I have my derp gun VK 28.01 back aswell.
They removed the gun on the tank just so they could "reward" us with this new tank :/

I also have fond memories of the Pz4 with Schmalturm and HEAT-Derp.
QB says he's tilted in 1st battle because he didn't swap the AP and HE shells around (to make 1 key HE, 3 key AP), and then announces in 2nd battle 'hey look, I've swapped the ammo keys around'........and then has them swapped back for the 3rd battle.

410 German HE damage means actually 110-320 damage in game. If you penetrate. Mostly you miss your shots.

I hope the old ELC EVEN appears too, that was such a troll tank...the korean player showed us incredible replays with it. It was hilarious to see the EVEN got close to a heavy tank and the freaking flipper was below the gun.
Was part of the reason I stopped playing this game years ago , might come back give it ago again, this tank is tremendous fun.

i opened up some WoT just to play some, and the first game i got into, i was a top tier tank destroyer, tier 7 game and literally 5 of these tanks on each team. i shat my pants.

Try it again, but with the stock gun. Pen is low, but the DPM is like the Cromwell. With the low alpha, its like a machine gun. It also has better gun depression. If you meet another light tank, ram it and auto-aim, and hold the left mouse button. Crazy fun.

75mm gun on this tanks isnt bad, but derp was more fun. It has gun values comparable to tier 6 medium, its reasonable fast, it has one of best if not best viewrange at this tiers and decent camo.
Its still, in my opinion, one of best lights in the game.
"Can tier 6's really face tier 4s?" On the NA server yes, actually quite common really. I run a lot of tier 4s just to breath and relax without getting constant headaches an mass credit loss on defeats. I run into tier 6 tanks a lot, not all the time, but it happens enough to be considered common. Dealing with tier 6s is a pain though, unless someone bigger is drawing fire, end up getting knocked out really dam quickly.
yeah I was grinding amx 40 on my new account and it cant pen KV2's even with gold and the KV2 will oneshot you xD

In your game you are in this tier VI tank with all tier VI tanks. I have just played a few games in this and it gets matched with mostly tier VII and VIII tanks which can easily one-shot this tank.
It would be great if like the Valentine II it was not matched over its tier.
Next level of sealclubing, bounty equipment on a freakin tier 6. Amazing
If I could choose a spot in time, I would choose the day WoT was released, I only joined in 2018 (I played Blitz since 2014, and boy has it changed), and barely got to play pre-1.0 WoT. Another thing I noticed is that nowadays, WoT is almost impossible to grind out every single tank due to the large amount (especially if you're F2P like me) compared to back then, where they had less XP and Credit cost.
For Europe: Friday 26th is the day you get the rewards.
I use to hang back to protect arty to hunt the enemy lites making arty run, then support a flank mid game and make a arty run myself at end game. It's no longer one of the fastest, it's huge and the HE nerf hurts. Should still good for a tracking shot and ram. Thats what I will be setting this tank up to do. There was an infamous player that only played this tank, but have forgotten the name.

Probably the main reason I played was derpy tanks. I have played a lot less since the derp nerf.
Always loved the 105 HE derp on all my tier 5-6 tanks (loved flanking and he to side or rear :) ) but I just remember they kept on nerfing the gun and tanks rather than nerf the OP HEAT rounds :( was a very sad panda (I do not play now but with HE nerfs I doubt I would be any happier)
It's interesting, how one of the best Russian players / streamers in his review on this tank went on a completely different route - he upped stabilisation and camo in all possible ways (silenced exaust + vents + stabilisation). So, obviously, there are more than one styles of playing it.
It would be nice to see the ELC Bis brought back also.

This will be nowhere close to what it used to be, due to the HE nerf. You used to be able reliably damage heavy tanks like E-75, shooting pretty much anywhere, as HE used to *almost* always do some damage. The tank still might be fun to play vs Tier 6, we will see...
