Finally took out my firestorm t10 from the storage and fired it up after 2 years and it still is running. Only problem I had was the clutch spring and that’s it. So if it ever stops running change clutch spring $10 fix.
Good on you, man. That is interesting to hear about the clutch spring, I had my Firestorm 18 months before I fired it up for the first time, only to find that the clutch spring had aleady broken. I just bent a new loop on the end and it is good as new.
i got one of these on a trade i love it just super hard to get the spur gears for it ive been trying for months to get extra ones finally found one 50t spur gear for 25$ the other day
Hello, the one way bearing in the pull start may be gummed up with oil from the fuel or it may be just stuffed. You will need to remove the pull start from the engine, (probably have to remove the engine), take the one way bearing out of its housing and soak it in thinners or brake cleaner and then make sure it is clean. To test if it is okay, slide it back on the shaft that it came off, turn it by hand and see if it grabs the shafted. It should grab when you turn it clockwise. If it grabs, it should be okay, so reassemble and have fun. If it does not grab, replace it.
Teks rc's Yes that was it. I managed to get it fixed the other day by removing the pull start and cleaning up the inside and regressing the one way bearing. Works like new again. Thanks for your help tho.
@@teksrcs3464 yea, thats why an old yet common mod to them was to swap out the pull starter with a drill starter (the whole mechanism goes with the engine unlike the pull starter, or at least the one my dad found does, modelsport has a lot of strange things in its fine mix of things to sell)
Just bought one waiting for it to arrive😊😊😊😊
Excellent, you will have fun. 😃👍. Hope you get a video of it, once you have run it in.
Woohoo Can't it just jump! Wow a real fun lil mean machine! Fabulous flips! Super duper!!
Thank you 🤗
I just purchased one of these. It’s so nice to see a video without Metallica or something playing lol.
Too right, man, I agree wholeheartedly, just good old fashioned nitro noise, dust and fun. :•)

I’d recommend the integy 3 shoe clutch upgrade
Okay, cool, thanks. If it breaks again I will check one out.

My HPI FS 10T nitro started doing the free spinning pull starter thing today. Whats the issue? and how does one go about fixing it please?
