I can not thank you enough for your videos!!! I am new to fresh milled flour and was getting so discouraged. I could not get the right consistency!!! I am going to go watch all your videos before I make another batch! Thank you thank you!!!
Thank you for the freshly milled recipe......but, honestly, the traditional rolling of the dough balls in the sugar/cinnamon combo and then the pouring over of the sugar and butter method seems way easier (and less messy) to me. Perhaps that method works better in a Bundt pan? 🤔Either which way, I will be trying it soon. Please keep your recipes comin', my freshly milled friend! We all appreciate it.
One of the things I like about you is that you use grams to measure the flour. I am new using grains and love all of your recipes. This I will make...waiting for the kamut from Azure's. Thank you
Yay! I am so happy to be helpful! I try to write all the recipes both ways for all kinds of bakers out there! I am excited for you to get your Kamut! I love to put it in just about everything!
Yay! It is so good, my family ate the whole loaf in one sitting after dinner. And, I said, well I guess I should have made 2 loafs after all! lol Let me know what you think of it! Happy Baking!
Hi 👋 Can I follow the recipe but instead of a final rise and baking...can I put the dough covered with the cinnamon mixture in the refrigerator overnight and in the morning do the final rise and bake?
Yes! You can make it, and cover then place in the fridge. The next day, out it on the counter to come to room temperature (about 2 hours) the n bake. Enjoy! 😊
Will be making your monkey bread recipe tomorrow! So far I've made your dinner rolls, honey whole wheat bread, pizza dough, and much more...I am new to all of this and I want to thank you for teaching new things to this old 67 yr old. Lol. I so appreciate you!!! 💗
It was delicious and so easy to make. The dough turned out perfect. So soft! We dug right in after I flipped it. We used a bundt pan & it baked about 30 min to get to 190°. What a treat it was! Next time, we definitely need to double it. There's 8 of us & my children wanted more & more & more! Yum!
Yay! So happy to hear it was a hit! Nice job! 🙌 yep, my family wanted more after I foolishly only made one small loaf, 🤣. Had to make more the next day! 😆
Yes! I love to do this with my rolls and bread too! Just let it sit at room temp for 1-2 hours for it to warm up a bit to room temp before baking. Then bake as recipe says. Let me know what you think! Happy Baking!
Is there a reason why you chose to your the dinner roll recipe instead of using your regular bread dough recipe? We love monkey bread at our house. It’s kind of a “cheater” sticky bun.
I chose my dinner roll recipe, because it is just a tad sweeter than my sandwich bread recipe. But, really you can use what ever your favorite bread recipe is for this! That is one of the great things about Monkey bread! So versatile to choose whichever dough you want!
@@planojan7778 I just made this Sunday!!! I use whatever bread recipe you like, I used my typical sandwich and roll recipe, and then do it just like the monkey bread recipe above but roll the balls in pesto (I used a jarred sundried tomato pesto but in the past I have made my own). Bake as above and dip in herbed olive oil. Enjoy!!!!
You are so pleasant to watch. I just love your videos🤗🥰
Thank you so much! I appreciate it!

@GrainsInSmallPlaces I did it! It came out fantastic! I posted a picture on your FB page. Thanks for helping me!

When I told my boys you😊 had this video, his eyes lit up. 😂 my girls & I will be making this today in a bundt pan. 😊

That looked so good. 🤤

@@GrainsInSmallPlaces You're welcome 😊
Cool 🐒🍞
Thanks! It is so good!
can I assume I can make savory monkey bread following the same just substitute butter/herb mix for the sweet?
You could, or I have a cheesy garlic pull apart bread recipe as well. grainsinsmallplaces.net/garlic-pull-apart-bread/
Can you use store bought Kamut with the fresh milled wheat? I have a few store bought flours left from before getting my Mill. Thanks.
You can, but you will likely need to adjust the flour amount, because the store bought Kamut has had most the bran and germ sifted out.
Waiting for my monkey bread to rise… can I pop it in the fridge after the last rise and then bake during dinner so we can eat it warm and fresh?
Yes! I love to do this with my rolls and bread too! Just let it sit at room temp for 1-2 hours for it to warm up a bit to room temp before baking. Then bake as recipe says. Let me know what you think! Happy Baking!
