Congrats on the bow mount! You might want to put the gps puck up on the top of the console instead. That way you have the best capability to receive the gps signals
Great video & congratulations on your new Minn Kota. If you haven’t already you’re going to need to install the “Trolling motor Stabilizer Mount” it’ll support the head while you’re traveling down the road & prevent the trolling motor head from bouncing & getting shaken to death. Thank you for sharing your video. Bob
Nice addition with the bow mount! We find that our sled tracks better when trolling with the bow mount when the gas kicker in the down position (not running). It acts as a rudder for the rear and really keeps the back end from swinging especially in the wind. The extra drag is not even noticeable. Bummer about the perch, we are headed out there tomorrow to give it a try. Your wife was right about the worms.. just sayin
The spotlock should key in. Mine takes a minute to dial in after a few minutes it narrows to to about a 12" area it will hover over. Itll lock onto the current and wind and hold place.
Love the videos, hopefully you can do a pt defiance, slag pile seminar this summer 🚤
