Don’t use ACV in your hair for any longer than 4 minutes ladies (& gents)! Trust me I learned the hard way. It’ll literally eat through your hair. Make sure to dilute it properly- 1 TEAspoon to every 8 oz/cup. Rinse it completely out once those 4 min are up.. Thank me later.

@@jessicayoung6617 no I unfortunately wasn’t able to. This was years ago before bond-repair was a thing so I had to chop it all off. I would say if it happened to me again today, I’d be using either Olaplex, Redken, or some K18 for some bond-repair to treat it but idk how much it’ll save your hair. You may have to still do a trim/cut to effectively get all of the damage out but it’s def worth a try! Good luck luv

As someone with natural high porosity hair from the root acv rinses are useful to close the cuticles and so hair stays moisturized longer and the curl pattern is less frizzy.

💯 and I'm telling everybody I can with higher porosity hair that spraying ACV _directly on top of_ your deep conditioner works even better than the rinses because you're locking in the benefits of the mask instead of only water. I still use it for cleansing the scalp, but nothing has helped the length of my hair stay moisturized 'til the next wash day like the DC + ACV combo. Natural Nadine has a great video on it. These Black chemist channels are really saving us! 🙌🏿

@@MaxineShaw_84Yes! It really works. ACV rinse right on top of the deep conditioner is the trick. I’ve done it for 3 consecutive wash days and my hair is finally retaining length

When I use ACV, I tend to focus it on my scalp. B/c I don’t have stubborn buildup on my hair strands. But, as long as the pH is in the SAFE ZONE you are fine to used it on both your scalp and hair strands.
