No, no, not at one day. Never just one day. I just got coal power which led to the first 4+ hour session, which is leading up to ... many, many more days =)
I have a total of about 100hrs in this game and to watch someone build all this and the games potential gets me so inspired...done the Dyson sphere and got real good at it 4000 hrs in it...watching you progress helps me get to the next level, thanks and well done!
Ahhh more stellar examples for me to marvel over and how people leave enough space for all their machines and belts....something I have yet to learn :) Well done, great shots, great music, and very good editing.
I've built elaborate layouts. One thing I've noticed in your approach it gives you flexibility. You don't mind laying machines down without conforming to the exact square of the foundation. Whereas myself and my OCD my machines have to align on the squares. I also make sure each platform has a 2 foundation boundary perimeter. This in turn creates a sprawl as opposed to compact design. I also like the stacking which I do also but again my OCD creates boundaries not just horizontally but vertically. I'm going to have to give myself an opportunity and try your flexibility layout style.
My current 'get out of the box' project is to see how high i can stack storage containers to ultimately create inter-connected storage arrays. Slowly but surely 'Storage City' is blocking out the sun *lol*. Boundaries - some people call those starting lines... happy building!
I'd say I'm close to the 1000 hours mark in total on that game since EA release and... 2:30 YOU CAN PUT A MINER ON TOP OF THOSE ROCKS ??? It never even crossed my mind to try xD
What I like best about your style is the way you have a logistics floor for each material, and they are only 4m each. Just enough for a single layer of conveyors. I haven't gotten that far before.
i thought i was being smart by making 2 floors one for 'east/west' belts and the other floor for 'north/south' belts thinking this way they wont have to cross .. it still became a mess by the end of tier 8 because inevitably you have a belt that just "needs" to go diagonally.. .. now im looking at a big remodel (or i move and leave the other old factory as a museum piece)
@@MrBishop077 I watched a blueprint video by (it's excrubulent), and he has the most compact blueprints I've ever seen. He uses some soft clipping, but they are mainly for function. I am rebuilding my starter base using some that I designed using that style. But Dekoba's builds are just beautiful.
the layout design is stunning, camera angle is on point. I have never thought about designing the factory with truck station and parking lot. Keep it up guys!
Who is this guy! Wow. I am speechless. You don't want to see my base. I don't have a single manifold installed. Everything is out of straight lines. I picked up a couple of building tips. The most important is the mining belt which I drag for miles, cause I didnt know the elevator could stretch up!! I also saw some miners built on foundations and that surprised me! I didn't know it was possible. Loved the compact building setups. Omg. in that lake I built 4 coal generators and I had a really hard time passing the tubes and the belts. Didn't think of making different levels. That solved all the problems.
This video has shown me my utter failure. Just... wow. I'm already not doing the work I should be doing, but now I want to jump into the game and reorganize everything. This is incredible.
Incredible, amazing, mesmerizing! I'd love to see some actual time stamps showing how long it took you to build this in game. It is so fun to just watch and appreciate, but part of me wants to know the details of time and logistics to do a time-lapse like this. Thank you for sharing! Waiting for part 3 :D
Definitely going to use that display board thing for planning. I like keeping things in game. Alt tabbing out just a reference my spreadsheet isn't very fun for me.
Really enjoyed this time lapse, your style is amazing and I enjoyed all your builds! I only wish you would spend a little more time showing off the final products once decorating is completed because those buildings were gorgeous!
I like how you used signs to make a flow chart of the process. I may have to ste... borrow that idea! It's always fun coming back to something and wondering what the hell you actually built all those days or even months ago haha.
I played this game during the update 2. I decided to make a pause after update 3 till more updates come out. I check whats happening from time to time, see whats new in new updates and around update 6 i decided to try it again. But magic from first playtrough disappeared + it become more complex so i quit. I will probably never play this game again but will check whats new in it forever because it have spacial place in my heart.
On the Space Elevator section, you’ve built a factory in each of the 3 colored sections. I’m assuming that’s for the parts needed for that particular milestone. Do you then tear down that factory once you move to a new milestone and replace it with a factory for the next part?
I leave all my old factories in as museum peices, even if I disconnect power and redirect resources to another location. In this case, I diverted the outputs from that factory into storage containers and left it running to provide for my phase 3 factories, then moved the space elevator for my phase 4 factory.
2:28 how the heck did you get a mining unit on that cadmium spot? I can't get it to stick because the big boulder on top, so used portable miners until I found a cadmium deposit I could stick an automated one on.
Ive never done a megaprint before but if I can pull it out of the save Im happy to do it. (just dont look too closely under the foundations, just trust that all the belts and pipes are at neat angles) drive.google.com/file/d/1pp2uJrJBQYN3sbPb_sEov3VpXBpsNh9y/view?usp=drive_link
From where do you pick your build style i love i have 100hrs on the game furthest i got is coal power and it looked awfully i just cant figure out a style for my factories
Just keep on building and watch some build technique videos. Fluxo Builds has some great tutorials for how to use different ways of building in order to create a better look. If you are in search of a comprehensive train guide, check out Toaster Gaming.
It looks beautiful to itself when its efficiant build. And thats what he does. Its not cool architectical Buildings all around. Just good organized and planned fabrics, which make it also very satisfying.
Lost me at the beginning. Awesome video and editing skills, meh game knowledge. Aside from glossing over how the coal area suddenly had power to run when complete, coal consecutively split 8 times and water pumps all joined with multiple junctions means you have no idea how to balance. Of course you have over-compensate with nearly twice the coal and water than needed. Pumps don't need flushing but all other buildings with fluids do. Can't imagine this will go well with more complex materials.

Thanks for taking a few minutes to watch!

My love for satisfactory has been resparked
I love watching these videos and thinking "yeah I could one day do this" when I know that no, not one day will I be doing this. Well done, mate.
Anyone can manifold on floating platforms. I want to see more of the decorating because I have limited creativity.
@@gorth1314 Definitely would have liked to see more of the buildings than the foundation building.

ah yes, rebuilding the same belt 17 times so it gets the correct curve angle, my favorite part about building XD
Pro's get it right on the 16th time lol.
Coffee Stain seriously needs to pick one of these up as a promo video! Even knowing how you did it it's still crazy impressive and really well done!
I love the combo song/no commentary with the time lapse ... thank you

Your planning and execution is fantastic looking forward to part 3
Your timelapse videos are on another level. The builds are so clean too! Nice job man. 🏭🏭🏭🏭🏭🏭🏭
Thank you so much man! I appreciate it, it means a lot.
Daaaamn, the planning that must have gone into this! Epic factory mate, congrats

Amazing use of space management and scale.
I cannot get enough of the music, where can I listen to more of it??? (I'll just put these videos on repeat for now, blazing through my work haha.)
I'd never thought of stacking the coal gene's like that, gotta do that in my 1.0 playthrough :)
I love it! Had to play at a bit slower rate to grasp all the love put into this. Simply amazing.

Great to look at, thx for sharing

I never thought of using the alt steel rods and screw recipes for Elevator Products, does seem to simplify it alot.
Very zen. Loved it all the way through!
Some top notch content bud. Thanks for the great work. Obvious passion here CLAP
Can't wait for part 3! :)
i know there is no right or wrong way to play this game and thats kinda the point of it..
but this made me start over for the 52nd time.
You are so amazing! I really enjoy your content! Stay golden! : )
looks lovely! what is the system hes building at 5:40 though, is that just overflow and backup storage? I haven't played enough to understand that yet
I really enjoyed this video, well made and beautiful factories! Thats the part I struggle with, no spaghetti sure but good looking? nope
Awesome !!
Thats really amazing detail in what you made. Hpw did you do the camera? 🔥
I made a demo

watching this is well.. satifaction :D
How did you know where to put the floors so it would "connect" with the factory at 5:00 ?
How did you build the foundation in a circle? Thank you. Very nice factories :)
Nice !
Music not really my cup of tea, but that's just nitpicking.
From a four-digit-player : both parts have been a great watch, good job.

You need to blow it up with a Nobelisk.

I am once again asking for a video/ explanation on how you record/ make these time-lapse videos for satisfactory.
He talked about it at the end of one of his recent videos, I think episode 9? Showed the mods he uses and answered a couple other questions.
@@annacleland-leighton513 ooooooooh
Sooo I'm stupid, thats the only part of the video I didn't watch.
Please part 3
Did you put a miner on the caterium node that still has rocks on top of it? Is that a glitch?
It does seem to be.
@@Dekoba woah!!! Holy shit!! I've over 1500 hours and have never thought to do that.
It got patched :(
Clearly I’m playing this game wrong
what are exact coordinates?
I liked the bit when the guy made the factory.
TIL you can put miners on foundations....
u has used mods or it's totaly without?
only to control the camera. build is vanilla
Where is Part 3!!!?
