WOW those work beautiful. Now you just need to have the cars on that you can load the grapes on and have them delivered to the winery that you could have.😂 thanks for sharing this fixs always good to learn something new. GOD BLESS 🚂💖🍇💖🚂💖🍇💖
You totally inspired me. I started my G scale layout with my son. We have lots of plans and track to lay. Thanks for the great video. Please keep them coming.
You guys build the most beautiful models. You make me want to shrink myself down and move in to your little towns. Even going to work in your mine doesn't seem too bad. I love you and GOD bless you!
We’ve been running trains out there, but it’s always a challenge going through those failing switches. Now it’s a joy to just run the train through there and not even think about it! And for the first time ever, I switched out a train at the mine tipple.
Actually switching out the mine. Run around. Couple in. Pull the cut levers. Through the switch’s. Perfect. Only derailments when I run the switch like an amateur.
That is awesome! I'm so proud of you two. You show, explain and talk about what you are doing or want to do. Best videos on UA-cam tube!!! ❤️ Here from Ohio, Valerie and Steve. 🙏
Yes sir you come a long ways with outside track and garage mahall 😊 take good see yall are looking good stay out if the heat its been hitting 104 to 108 here on Texas n yes I do stay inside 😂 take care and ill cat you on the next video
Hi Gunny. Yup. Not as hot here this summer. Yet still to hot to run. High 90s. A few 100+. But now mostly perfect. Except for rain. And we had a project dumped on us. We have a rental house and the people moved out and left us the mess from hell. And the roof was leaking and they never said anything because I guess they didn’t want us to see the mess? Anyway two months of work there. But finally back to livable. Oh.. and it’s cost $40,000. Mostly the new roof. But still…
All that type of electrification and juicey froggy stufff is why I decided to convert all my engines to r/c battery control. no more conductivity issues!
I was planning that with aluminum rails. Works well. But I love locomotives. Have 45 of them. And that’s an expensive conversion. Soooo DCC and nickel silver. Amazing stuff.
At the south end a wye. At the mine probably just this. But inside a turntable. The original plan was a dog bone outside, but it just takes up so much room and would be difficult to mow the lawn and everything so we’re just trying to keep it simple
Greetings from England! Always great to see your trains. Whilst I like the 'Connie' locomotives, how's your K-27 project coming? Didn't you have Accucraft ones; one with an altered cab? Mine's 463. Whoooo whoooo! 👍
All 👍. Need to get back on mine. Don has his Accucraft about 90% finished. My Bachmann is still stock. I need to install the DCC at least so we can run it. And my Accucraft is still a bench project.
Dale - This was fascinating to watch. Where do you buy those wire connectors and spade lugs? And, are they weather proof (I would assume so). I was thinking they would be great for 12v outdoor landscape lights (the kind they use to call “Malibu Lights?. Although I am slowly switching over to the better solar spot lights, I still want to keep the 12v lights that I have had for years.
Amazon. The key is having the proper crimping tool. The tee connection is crimped with large pliers. But having the exact right size is key. And using the right size tee connector for the wire. And practice first cause it’s tricky. Then the spade lugs. You REALLY NEED the crimping tool. Expensive. But you load the spade into the tool, strip the wire and stick it in the spade lug, crimp and perfect. Then you just plug it in. But you need to check alignment because the lug can go in behind the connector instead of inside it.
@@ToyManTelevision Thank you - that is great information and tips. Overall I really liked the neatness of it all, and the ease (relatively speaking) of “plugging” in one wire to another. And your outdoor layout is looking good!
Great work. I have also ordered a large number of turnouts from Mike and look forward to receiving them. What brand of connectors do you use to connect feeders to bus? Thanks.
Hi. TICONN 240PCS T-Tap Wire Connectors, Self-Stripping Quick Splice Electrical Wire Terminals, Insulated Male Quick Disconnect Spade Terminals Assortment. From Amazon. Get the crimp tool too. Or it will never work well
Nope! Well, let me explain at the far south end where the tracks just go up towards the fence that’s going to be a huge wye. The other end, which is inside has a huge turn table at the locomotive shop. For the time being released, and probably forever, mine is simply for mine kind of a dead end area.
@@ToyManTelevision - I understand the concept of a WYE but thought a turn-table would take up less space, so you wouldn't have to build more bench-work.

Hi. I made wine one year. A lot of work. Made about 6 bottles. But they were good.
Ps. God bless

You can do it!
the Llegas creek, turnouts are perfect, so pleased I got them.
The railroad really looks great at night! Thanks for sharing your indoor/outdoor railroad.
Thanks for watching
Great job nice to see trains running . Have a good week
Thanks, you too!

Thanks

Really enjoying your Garden Railroad, the canyon is coming along nicely also.
Thanks 👍😊
Works and looks fantastic !!!!
So very happy with it!!! Llagas is soooo good.
Nice work. I like the way you solve problems.
Thank you very much!
I'm so happy for you guys. You get to run your trains.

Smooth indeed!
😊
I imagine it is fun to run trains a dusk where you use lights from the trains. Great video. Your garden layout it great.
Hi. It’s the best time for sure hands down. Setting in chairs. Running. Getting up to switch, pick some grapes, sit and eat the grapes. Magic.
@@ToyManTelevision I am glad you can read autocorrect. I have always dreamed of having a garden railroad. I am envious of you.
Love watching your Garden RR the most ❤

Smooooooooooooooth operation!🚂🚂🚂🚂🚂

Great job. Keep up the great work on the project
Thanks!!
Looks like the new switches work great. Have fun.
Thanks 👍
I still believe a reverse loop at the far end would be beneficial.
For sure. But it would need to be about 12 feet across!! And a 6 foot lead in. So just too big

Have you decided what you're going to do as far as turning facilities, also this Sunday's my birthday
A turn table would need to be custom built I figure a Y would work better as you don’t need to build anything special

How are you planning to weather proof the frog juicers? Are you going to install them in an outdoor receptacle box?
Yup. I bought some plastic project boxes. We shall see how that works. 😊
One nice aspect of the benchwork with roofing materials the bottom side is totally out of the weather.
Are you planning on adding a turn-table at the far to turn and engine around? 🙂

@@Conn653 but a turntable outside is a real maintenance issue.
You need passengers in those coaches!
I have plenty of passengers to put in there, but boy is it hard to get inside those cars!

You should have used green wire for the frog…..because frogs are green 😂😂😂😂
Good videos too
convert to battery sir.
Dale,
What kind of Throw Switch was that at the 10:30 mark of your video ??
Tenmille ground throw.
Hi mike!! And they are GREAT.
