- Foreigners' incredible GUJARAT adventure... Mount GIRNAR, Junagadh! (vlog 2024)
Kem cho!
Today in our Gujarat vlog, is the day we hike up Mt. Girnar in Junagadh! It's quite obvious that at the beginning of this vlog, we had NO clue about the spiritual significance of this mountain in Junagadh. It is a incredibly special mountain for Jains and Hindus (and even some Buddhists!) We didn't even know that the hike was 7 hours up and 7 hours down. AND we didn't even know that we came on a very important day for pilgrimage. This Girnar vlog will hopefully inspire you to one day experience the magic for yourself!
Hopefully you enjoy the Gujart vlog, as we learn throughout the journey about the significance of the day, the mountain, and make friends along the way. This was one of our favorite experiences in India thus far!!
JAY GIRNARI!
Aavjo,
Mac & Keen

I must say, you guys going wild in Gujarat, visiting places like Gujaratis do. My self is also Gujarati and originally from Surat but living in New Jersey. I or my fam never got chance to visit Girnar which I wanted to go when I was child. I think on my next trip to back home, I shall make it happen to visit spiritual places, top of my list is Kedarnath in Unttarakhand. Love what you guys doing and learning native languages, eating local foods like locals and enjoying yourself with locals as you're travelling the world. Not a lot of people feel comfortable with all that. So big applaud to you guys. Keep living the dreams and continue experiencing the incredible India!!!.
Wow thanks for the kind comment bro! We wish you a beautiful time during your time back home, glad to hear you are appreciating our efforts. Means alot ! Jay Girnariiii

Dattatreya is an incarnation of lord Vishnu🙏 It would be more epic and holistic if you hire a guide, who tells you the great history of this spiritual place, This holy place has all dharmas Hindu, Jain, Bauddh and Muslim shows the religion equality 😊
I also request you that if you are still in Gujarat, please take the help of a local guide at every place in Gujarat as it has great history of each and every place ❤

Dear brother and sister I think you might have enjoyed your tour of India and specially Gujarat... We gujarati always welcome our guests. .. do come again....
Welcome to gujrat ❤
You both are truly very lucky to have completed the Girnar pilgrimage. I also recently completed a full tour of Girnar a few days ago. In that vlog, I visited some places that required spending time from early morning until late evening. You both missed seeing some of the most beautiful spots in nature. If you have time, please watch my 'Girnar Yatra' vlog. And if you ever get a chance again, do visit those places.

I'm glad you took my advice and visited girnar. 😂
Wow!!!! Mac & Keen, you guys are awesome! Sorry for such a long comment but I just couldn’t resist. How effortlessly you mingle with locals, is still boggling my mind! Connecting with locals in Gujarati language, drinking cutting chai & maggie, walking barefoot overlooking safety or hygiene, and most importantly chanting “Jay Girnari” as if joining spiritual journey together with them is absolutely outstanding to see! I hope, you had fun doing this regardless all the challenges. My favourite highlights of the video are two, when Mac, while taking her shoes off, starts singing, “🎵Jaaneka!!” when a guys asks jaaneka ya utarneka? 🤣🤣 And, when apprising of the surroundings of the scene, Mac says, “And, we’ve got a friend over there. (A monkey!). A Scary friend!” But then she innocently goes, “it’s peaceful here though. Super peaceful!” And I can here loads of noises in the background! 🤣🤣 You’re so funny Mac! 😂
Well, thank you Mac & Keen for taking time and creating this video. I definitely enjoyed myself. In fact, I would love to go on a trip with both of you. I am sure, it would be super cool. Anyway, I am subscribing your channel because I am really impressed with your incredible friendliness. All the best for your future endeavours. 👍

hahahah me too...
bro you didn't go all the way. There are 2 mountains
16:49 they build different 😊
Is it similar to tirupathi balaji temple, it looks exactly the same but you get roof over the steps to climb the steps , it's a 9km journey to the top of the hill with 3550 steps in total which normally takes 4-5 hours for fit person more if you're aged or unfit.
And there's another famous hike called Sabarimala trek, there will not be any steps you have to trek upto 60kms in the jungle climbing 2-3hills and rivers the hardest part of these treks is you have walk without any shoes and there will not be any lights provided by the gov, all you have is torch you have in your hand to carry on with walk at night normally it takes 20 hours if walk non-stop and upto 40hours if you Stop to take rest at night , it's the most hardest trek I have ever done in my life and then there's the fear of elephants, tigers🐅 snakes, leaches etc to lookout for,
did you know that girnar has recorded history of 2300 years old it's extremely sacred for hindus and jain dharm
I did not, thanks for this!
I am from junagadh
You guys should come here Mahashivratri.......
It's really amazing
This mountain is older than Himalaya.
