Is there any load sensor in washing mc to calculate the quantity of cloth or its weight ? ...where is it...and how it works?

some designs may actually check the weight, but from what i have figured out the initial spin the current draw to estimate the load in the machine. the higher the quantity of clothes in the machine the greater the initial starting current needed to overcome the inertia during the initialization sequence of the specified cycle
