I think he already scripted the opening and then got the collab after so he would’ve had to rescript and essentially toss the opening part for a minor reason. Remember we are on UA-cam, this is free content not a multi million dollar cable channel. I’m glad he did it his way and it wasn’t that jarring at all, made perfect sense.
i freed the lumbermill people without hesitation - I regret nothing. Only wish they did something with the mill after, a lot of buildings just stay abandoned after you've interacted with them. Hoping that the world gets a little richer in the future, would love to be able to rebuild some places and see people coming back to it.
I totally agree with you. The NPC's could change their behavior/point of view on the world based on your behavior. Say you solve certain problems or choose certain path in the game, this would have an impact on the world. Ofc it would need additional dialogue- much more coding but make the game have much more replay value as well!
Thank god Wartales is a solid game in which you get to enjoy the mechanics in all different ways without having to search for game breaking bugs/glitches to get things done ^^ very enjoyable adventure from my perspective after +100 hours since 1.0
Great vid :) Best money farm I have found, once level 4 in Crime and Chaos, is stealing manuals from the Brotherhood Training Ground in Tiltren County, and running a short distance and selling them to the black market (after clearing the Bandit Lair). You do this 10-20 times paying off you wanted level each time then you are set to make a lot of money. Simply steal the manual stacks from the black market and then sell them back to him and pay off you wanted level. Can easily make 2k each time you steal, sell then pay off you wanted level. Although it does take some time to set up.
Once you get enough gems, gather around 100 .... you can just sit in a city and do that. Sell gems, steal the same gems, launder gems, outside to pay fine ... rinse and repeat. About 2000 each time.
Sadly, this method was patched. The pay-off for clearing wanted level now takes the price of the items into account. No more profit margin. You can still do this for a good spike of gold, but then you have to pay off wanted level a different way such as delivering bandits to jail or swapping out your group with guys you don't mind losing and let one of them get sent to jail.
You can be an antihero of sorts, the following takes a while :- Gather 100 gems, sell them for 2600 ... steal them, launder them. Go outside and pay the guard which costs around 600 .... rinse and repeat. No need to kill or be mean besides stealing. Lots of food needed though if you fail the launder, otherwise the city usually has enough in the market to keep you going. You don´t even need to resort to the sell/steal/launder/pay guards/sell ... rinse and repeat method. You can just steal stuff willy nilly and launder it as described in the video but my mentioned method is by far the easiest way to make tons of money very fast.
Here's the quickest way to farm in wartales without fighting. Go to training camp steal all upgrade skill book until you reach max wanted level. go to the nearest bandit camp the one that you help in near Farm. Just use piton to go back down in the farm and to the bandit camp. Sell it for 103 krowns per book. Go find police while going to rest house make sure to submit your companion by choosing accuse to put him in jail. Go rest and go to prison to bail your companion for 80 krowns. go back to training camp and do it the procedure for 10-20 times. Now go to bandit camp you will see that it doubled the qty like 20times by this time you steal direct in bandit camp those item that you sell to them. Then sell it again to them. The key is always choose accuse companion everytime you've reach max wanted level and that's it. Thank me later. Some scenario when you can't bail your companion make sure you have a back up save. And just restart the game.
There was a quest to buy a sheepfold for some refugees. But your only buying it for them, it would be good if you could buy buildings to generate income. then upgrade them with coins and materials to generate more income see the buildings improve and have more people coming in. Doesn't have to loads of building just a few dotted around the world. It would help with wages.
