I gotta say that the Porsche looks like a Bond villain car in black. Too bad I don't gel well with it's driving style.
we call that skill issue around here
I'd imagine you'd really benefit having a DD wheel to get a handle on this thing.
absolutely, finally into the 17's at spa with this thing after getting a moza r5
You mentioned 1 reason why everyone should spend some time in this porsche and that is you will master your throttle control and steering inputs in a way it will benefit you in every other car if you play negative break bias (which I don't for now still kills me in break taps at anything below 50) then you will improve at trailing off the brakes too.
Overall very fun to drive in mid-speed circuits it shines because it can beam out of corners and it's super engaging experience compared to ferrari 296 or bmw m4
You got a new subscriber! Just got the update on the ps5 ( glad it didn’t take a year like the 1.8 update). Excited to drive these new cars. Which one is everyone’s favorite?
The 992. It's smashed every PB I've tried to beat so far. It handles far better than the old 991
In my eyes after the Update its more easy to Drive. But thats just a opinion. But its fact that i am 1 sec faster now. And the new cars are the fastest. And i just use the AgroSetups to have a more authentic feeling. Pretty Sure there are allready setups out there that make it even more easy and faster.
Hey Yorkie
How do you do your Graphics settings in Acc...I have a i7 10700 with 32gb ram and RTX3070
I get great FPS on epic with Res scale at 100 but everytjing in distance is a blurr....Especially when you compare with Pc2 or Ams 2 which look amazing on the madness engine...
Am i missing something or is this how it is with ACC
Cheers Craigo
I've got most things on high or max, but there's a few things that I drop down to get a bit more FPS.
The distance blur though is very much an unreal engine thing, so I don't think there is much you can do about it.
I cant adjust to 992 coming from 991.2, it feels a lot worse under breaking, to the point that I need to break a lot earlier not to run wide, but Im not giving up just yet even though that 296 feels better and is super fast
I think that could be because of 2 reasons 1- lack of perfected (sort of) set up, 2- much higher top end so you have to break a bit earlier to get it through the corner.
I can't adjust to the 991.2 in 1.9 coming from the 991.2 in 1.8. The handling is just so unpredictable now with absolutely no warning you're on the limit.
@@okayboomer8815 Head to SKY 194 on YT only has one set up so far, Valencia im doing 1.318 ish at best in the new Porschey, im a mess also on all other tracks, all the old set ups where awesome that he did.
@@okayboomer8815 Yeah you were right, with better setups both 911s are more predictable and easier to drive, and higher top speeds are the reason behind breaking points being so different. I honestly don't know how did I miss that I was going faster down every straight
I'm new to acc and on PS4 with controller. And was scared of the rear engine cars. But I like the farrari 488, Lamborghini and love the Honda. Im not loving the Audi R8 and the AMG gt Evo actually.
Its sad but on console its a total different game.
Get a ps5 at least and a rig and wheel. You’re doing yourself a disservice by playing in controller.
@@naterod also a disservice by buying a console, get a pc.....

Meant the guy you were talking too. Just upgraded my old rx 580, loving it 👌
Not sure about this aggressive setting at 1.55.827 time you pulled, I gave it a go and gave up after 2 laps what a piece of sliding garbage lol. Prior to the update was doing 1.55.2 ish at best high 1.55 to very low 1.56 is my average stuff in the old Porsche.
