big fan of the new update. the cars just feel so much more instinctual to drive and handle fast but predictable. feels like a new lease on life with this sim. love your videos as always Will. keep up the good work.

2:52, personally I prefer the 296 to the 488, not only the road car but also the race version, it is an absolutly gorgeous machine, and I think it sounds better than the 488 GT3 too

I nerver liked ACC, after this update and DLC. I am actually having fun, maybe placebo. FBB is still turd but having fun none the less. Hopefully AC2 fkn nails it all around. I'm sure they will. Le mans ultimate has my attention. A new GT3/HYPERCAR sim with RF2 FFB and physics should be the GOAT. 🙏🙏

Hey Will, have you ever dabbled in RF2 and the original AC? Would be cool to see your opinion on all the top sim racing games, sort of like a top 5 favourite list for instance. (AC modded with Pure filter would look gorgeous on your rig). Thought it would be a cool video idea to see your top list, rf2 takes a lot of tinkering though, cheers!
I’ve done quite a bit of AC content. Not a fan of RF2.

Rf2 is all about which cars and tracks you pick. The LMPs and BTCC are fantastic. The GT 3s are terrible

I found the Porsche aggressive setup very slidy almost drifting too much. Did you create your own setup?
I'm really interested to know your secret for recording 4K videos at higher frame rates on your GoPro(11?) for more than 20 minutes without it overheating! I've had trouble with overheating during extended recording sessions, so any tips you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I run it with no battery off USB-C power. Otherwise it overheats after about 13 mins. With no battery it’s been running up to 2 hours without stopping.

Great rig, ACC has come leaps and bounds over the years and now with the new up-date put it above the Iracing platform and they don't soak you to play ACC like Iracing and their very VERY very costly game.
Is this online? Also, can you make a video or break down what your race settings are? Like what time of day you use, the AI settings, the cars' setup? You have such an amazing setup and I'm really curious. Love the videos!
How many calories do you burn during a race e like this??

Good race. Just a suggestion. In the 992 you'll want brake bias closer to 50. I run around 49.6 porsche loves less bb

That new Porsche is a blast to drive in ACC... Especially on a motion platform. Feels way more real and a bit scary compared to driving the GT3 Porsche in Iracing.

Not using any reshade. Just everything pretty much maxed out and saturation toluene’s down to 90 to reduce the cartoon look the game has by default. I have an acc graphics settings video on the channel for more details.

Best update so far, loved the BMW M4 but this Ferrari is better and looks fresher than 488 although love them both,FFB so fresh
After the 1.9 update the tire physics feel better through the FFB but the sudden lack of oversteer microcorrections seems wrong to me. Reminds me of driving a regular road going car on a track. Is it just me? There seems to be way more power oversteer in real GT3 videos with little microslides and all. Or are you such a Chad driver that you never get oversteer? :P

Maybe something for a new video would be after the update would setting on sim app need to change at all. Like I found my MOZA R9 and CS Wheel feels a tad loser now.

ACC has looked a lot better since we installed the 4090 about 6 months ago. We also improved the ambient lighting a few months back when we moved locations.

It’s an illusion. I tilt my head into the corner so it looks like the wheel isn’t turning.

Ferrari 296? Front is a 10/10, the back... it can be worse as Audi proves, but I am not a big fan. So yeah, I overall like the look for going into the direction of the classic Le Mans Ferrari. But it's not perfect.
Love the Porsche though... like the 992 GT3 Cup and the RSR had a baby 😅
I just figured out how it looks so realistic and I realized how dumb I am. The wheel and the suit is real (By the way the suits amazing) and the rest is the game that somehow blends in perfectly with the real wheel
For some reason I confused Valencia with Jerez circuit.😅

Total noob question here. Do you guys feel it's better to learn a new track not using the perfect line visual assist?
If you're a new player, you should totally use the racing line assist. Overtime you eventually rely on your eyes to look at visual cues to get an idea of the ideal racing line for your car and style
@BoBo-pl3ww thanks for the advice. Since that message I haven't been using the line in ACC and just progressively getting faster and learning the tracks by landmarks and distance boards. So much more enjoyable doing it this way over using the line assist
@@rossage208 I'd never seen Valencia in any game before (I'm guessing it was a Moto GP track considering there's a Valentino Rossi mural there lol). I always put the line on when a track is totally new to me. I follow the line and brake points roughly until I'm on autopilot with my inputs, and then I start looking for reference points. Then I turn it off for the four lap track medal thing and try to stay on track at a moderate pace, aiming for a spread of just a few tenths over those four laps. Then I start looking at ways to cut time by maximising the track or tweaking the set up.
Funnily enough, Valencia has been one of my best tracks for getting up to speed fairly quickly. It didn't feel like that'd be the case on my first few laps though lmao

Your ACC videos are cool but like many I don’t watch them because it’s against AI.
isn´t the in-game seating position to high? what i have seen in onboard videos on gt3 cars i feel like they are sitting lower then this. i personally sit lower in the car and have the angle higher for a more immersive experience but thats my opinion. love your channel Will!!!
It's personal preference. You can relate where the track is compared to the car better when the seat is higher.

Those names are real racing drivers that the devs added to the game as it's a licenced game. It's AI in most of his vids if I'm not mistaken

The sound alone keeps me pushing. Funny MAJOR game devs for gt and forza can't make realistic sounding Porsche gt3s and other cars. Can't cut lap after lap in a car that sounds like 🗑️
your update made you pick a better handling car then a McLaren but you are still making the same mistake its your driving turns to wide or diving to deep or giving gas to early go back an play Grand Turismo chase the pace car around or better yet get your license on GT that help alot to don't have to drive on the rumble strips all the time

Why you always playing Vs AI? You'd get a lot more viewers if you played against other players.
Our iRacing videos are against real players, going to check out LFM soon but the reality is it can take days to get a decent race against real people where you don't just get taken out in the first few corners. With how busy we are producing review videos I don't have the time to sit there for days trying to get a good race. So making every ACC video against real people would come at the cost of less review videos, which I don't think benefits the community as much.
