Maybe I'm mistaken, but I thought the issue was that the PSN account hasn't been required for the three months since the game's release, but now they were going to require it to continue playing. If they required it from the beginning, then I would agree with you.
@@RealCynicalGamerAnd yet sold it in territory they fully knew would be blocked from access, this was done from day 1. Sooo are you just gonna keep repeating retarded anti consumer bull or actually have a real argument to come with. Psn isn't needed when you run a Chinese spy where anti cheat that can't stop cheats, every player already has personal ID,s tied to game key meaning during the 3 months period arrow head had as much support function as they would ever have, able to fix things in less than 1 day wait time that obviously Sony won't do. PSN was anti consumers garbage, they sold it too nations that they would need to kick after they already payed them, in a hope that steam would deny there refunds. All because nations like Estland has Consumer Protection. Again this whole video is just retarded pathetic whine and anti consumer whimpering, no clue why UA-cam even pushed it on my feed.
Helldivers just burst the bubble, it's not just a Microsoft or Sony thing but an Origin, Ubisoft etc. It just happened to be the biggest game in recent history so of course you had the biggest drama
Ive been decent about it. Like i let my MC account die even though i have a Microsoft account and ive refunded games over launchers. Although i understand calling out people that did not complain in other cases, doing it even 10% of the time is better than 0%. Also, sony said on their site it would be optional IIRC. Though i am glad you don't think disagreement is automatically hate. It's a very easy trap for people with an bad ego.
gta, ubisoft, and ea, those accounts are required as they have their own launchers that the games are launched from. Microsoft same issue but also if you are on pc more than likely you have a Microsoft acct already and they launch games through their own service same as acti/blizzard. you seem to ignore that those accts are tied to launchers. the issue is that the game clearly doesnt require it to function like those previous ones and sony does not have its own launcher. if the plan was to have it integrated from day one, why would you sell it to the 100+ countries that dont have access to psn in the first place?
Wrong. Take the Phillipines for excample. They are very much capable to buy a PC or a console but you cant, even with a console use PSN! Thats the whole point in my point of view! And thats the reason why I went against it, Sony basicly scammed their consumers until Steam offered them refunds! I own a PSN account, nonethereless I support the ppl that just got scammed. Thats what this is all about.
So you are mad that other people got mad over a thing that has nothing to do with you? and not fighting for causes that you deemed more worthy the energy. kinda sad my man.
While I don't disagree, I think the big problem is the vast majority of PC gamers use Windows as an OS which is a product of Microsoft and requires users to make an Microsoft account to use their OS features. From what I can remember, when someone decides to purchase a game like Halo from the store, their Microsoft account is already connected to the storefront and the transaction is automatically applied to that account, creating this convenience system for users. For certain PS games that require a PSN account however, users have to go through the PS website to manually make an account, creating an obstacle that users have to go through in order to play their game, which defeats that convenience aspect.
This industry standard should be abolished. Next question.

Would maybe be a valid thing if Sony didn't pre-announce at the launch of the game that it was eventually going to be a requirement.
