Just learned that entry to saddle a little while back. Not bad at all once you drill it. The make shift knee cut is a nice touch, thanks for the details 🤙🏼
1 stripe white belt here. I've watched a lot of your videos but man it's tough putting these techniques into actual practice against equal or larger opponents during free roll.
Bro don't even bother with legs as a 1 striper. Learn the grip fights, passing closed guard, retaining an open guard and your basic subs (armbar, kimura, triangle, omoplata, cross collar chokes).
It’s not exactly that, but also, not exactly Not that. Entering to ashi, honeyhole / saddle, 50/50 and so many other entanglements can happen from top or bottom, offense or defense. The main goal was to show when those entanglements happen, how can we turn them into not only submission, but also passing opportunities.

Another good one my man! Thank you for this great instructional video💪
Super informative video, Eli!

I agree. Size always matters. To beat someone bigger, even momentarily, requires superior technique that has been drilled a ton.
@@KnightJiuJitsu - Yeah. I'm 175 and most of my class is 215+. It's tough.

Nice
Perfect 🖒👍👌🖒
Title made made it sound like this was going to show leg attacks from the top position a passer can transition into to pass guard.

@@KnightJiuJitsu You're not fast talking your way out of this one. You'll just have to make another video showing leg entries from top passing.
Wizardry!
