    Sir can directly say that if particle start from extreme points we will take cos and if start from mean position take sin

      @@ashutiwari6974 bro but why it's used..whether it determines the phase or. Just a phase where the particle is moving up and down

    • @ashutiwari6974
      @ashutiwari6974 4 роки тому

      @@suyashkamath5699 I think you have to watch the phase video of edupoint in which you can easily understand about the phase ,In the equation of that video Phase 0 means initial phase . Here wt is a measurement which defines the position of a particle i. e To identify the position of the particle we need some measurement and here the measurement is wt in circular motion , it will be same to the position of the particle ;Now you will be thinking that when phase is changed then my answer is it will be the new starting position or position of the particle .Example to define your position some measuremet is require your velocity ,time, phase kis disha mei ho ap .what is your position means your velocity wrt to time is x now where are you and after 10 sec where are you here the position is changed and it will decide by phase

    sir SHM is always represented by sin or cos why not any with any other trigonometric functions

    • @sanghamitrajena1955
      @sanghamitrajena1955 4 роки тому +4

      That's because
      Sin and cos are the only function that has minimum to maximum and maximum to minimum values respectively i.e. 0 -1 and 1-0
      But no other trigonometric function has determined value of maximum to minimum or vice-versa
      Hope you got the point

    • @PiyushEz
      @PiyushEz Рік тому

      It is because sine and cosine functions repeat themself after a certain angle which is 2pie in this case and the value of sinx goes from [-1,1] and that of cosinex goes from [-1,1] now as we know that displacement of a particle in shm is finite thats why we dont use any other trigonometric function, like tanx goes from -infinity to infinity so we neglect using tan x.
