I've been doing bodywork for the last almost 20 years.. people have NO idea what this takes! I met alot of people doing great and beautiful work on cars and body's.. but the fact that this kid not only makes extremely detailed and beautiful work on his car.. with parts that fit.. and ALSO makes molds that is equally as detailed and beautiful to the last millimeter is something else!! There is no need what so ever to make something as a mold that extremely detailed and beautiful.. but this guy does it. And that is something I would guess only 1% or less on this planet does! And the amount of hours and grinding.. wrecked muscles, fingers and arms hurt, is insane!! Fantastic work my guy!! I'm here for the long run and enjoy what you're doing!
as a fiber glass boat builder 95 % of getting a perfect part is all prep work. if your molds suck your parts suck and you have to rebuild them or spend days refinishing. do it right or do it twice. i wish my console mold looked as good as these do. great work and i enjoyed watching
Remembering back in the 90’s/00’s with unique body kits being made as a one off, cool yes…..until some ‘james hunt’ crashes into you 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. But a mould will always be there to make a new piece 😎🙏🏽👍🏽 This has been a long process but the results speak for themselves 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 good luck 🤞🏽
Congratulations is an understatement. I hope your sales get snapped up and look forward to seeing this fully painted! Your craft and patience is unrivaled and I especially enjoy seeing you use all the relevant safety gear. You're a great example for anyone that's willing to learn. Much love from a fellow kiwi

What I think is awesome is that, no only are you making an amazing car, you are taking the time to build kits so others can build the same kind of car. You are whats right with this hobby
You know what would be a sweet video? And I’m being serious. What about a garage cleaning/organizing video? Like where you pull everything out, dust it off, build some cabinets and give yourself a nice fresh clean spot to do work. Not saying that you need it, but it would be cool to see all your stuff you have and give us a chance to hear about why you use certain products, what you wish you had, etc.

Oi mate, I love the process, keep making the content the way you want to. I love the 3d printing prototyping and mold making. It makes the finished product reveal as you pull it out of the mold the first time so much more satisfying.
Congratulations on the release of your new body kit. I also make aero parts as a hobby, and I learned most of it from your videos! I really appreciate that you show me all the steps. I'm always rooting for you 📣
I have been doing painting and bodywork by learning myself and got good results but never done good moulds for fibreglass. Just regular fibreglass patches. Thanks for showing me what patience can do and im going to try out making moulds myself in near future. You are one of the best YT-rs i know. Cheers
What those fail to see when you are making moulds and sanding is that it is all part of a process, that take time and imagination that needs to be worked at through various stages, to get to the end result which we have yet to see. Seriously they need to have followed Project Binky from the start. My kids hadn't even started School, or on I am sure wasn't even born born. One has now left school and the other is only a few years left to go. So those of us that have stuck with a project like that, all your sanding and mould making is light speed in comparison. Keep up the good work your doing something a lot of folks couldn't do, and they are the ones that leave those kind of comments.
I have watched every episode. Not going to lie it has been a labour of love. You are truly an artist! I have loved these episodes for a different reason to the MX-5 this is a glimpse into a craftsman at work. Loved it! But... I hope the next run is something quirky! A palette cleanser from the many moulds ;)
I discovered your channel by mistake due to a random suggestion of one of your Cyberpunk MX5 videos, I've dabbled with cars my whole adult life, modified suspension, built the odd vw engine, built a megasquirt injection for my bus, maintenance on my dailies etc. etc. but the one thing i was never any good at or remotely had the patience or skill for was even basic bodywork, the filling, sanding, painting etc. etc. Your videos blow me away the amount of effort and work that goes into these moulds is incredible and really really satisfying and awe-inspiring to watch, it's basically fine-art what you manage to create! I know i'll never attempt anything like it as i know my personality, i'm super impatient, but me and my 3 year old daughter love watching you together, she knows you as "pink slime guy!" (from the pink body filler) Your "i never noticed" comment had me in stitches 😂 anyway keep doing what you're doing it's incredible to watch, all the best!
I just started auto body school. I can watch every process, no problem. Yes, it feels long sometimes, but It's better than really short or no content at all. "Can't please all the people all the time." I too can't wait for the final product, but gotta trust the process. I gotta say great job.
Dont listen to the negative comments. I appreciate that you show what it actually takes to build your cars. You edit and shorten the process already and if people don’t like watching what you are doing they can watch something else. Keep on doing awesome work!
That outro Is the biggest two fingers to the impatient haters 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Outstanding work as always lad. Now the bigger work starts - fulfilling orders to a world of impatient customers with high expectations. You'll need all the luck in the world dealing with them. I don't envy you you at all for that side of things 🙈🤣 All the best mate 😎👌🏻
Congratulations, you did a good job. I used your videos to create an extension for my car. Thank you, I'm looking forward to new projects. hello from Russia
Hello, my name is Donisete, your work is phenomenal, and comments from people who have no objectivity in life should not be taken into account, tell me that in their job, (whatever they are), they do different things every day! ! That's what our job is, we do it every day, be good at what we do and do better every day, in this video you showed different details about Gel Coat, you showed about shrinkage, reinforcements, things that are worth understanding the details of each person's experience. one. Get on with life, we do the same things every day, if we don't like what we do, something is wrong in our lives. Thanks for showing the video
let em complain, i like that you show the detail and work that go's into a project. youtube makes it look like you pump em out easy, but the best projects take time and never end. make what you want to make, make it how you want to make it, and take the time you want to dedicate to it! Keep it up!

as much fiberglass as much knowledge and experience...thanks to him we didn't waste time making mistakes before starting to make the product
The editing of the clips is as time-consuming as the build itself ❤both parts are perfect. You want to see more of it and that is hard to achieve… exceptional work and creativity!
I don’t deal with too much fiberglass work and sanding and all that. Same with carbon fiber. I’m usually on the mechanical side of things. But I’ll say, doing this kind of work is very satisfying. Especially the end results. And watching someone else’s results, such as yours, always is major eye candy for me. That goes for all of your projects, not just Sky-gea. I forever love tofu auto work’s works!
@@TofuAutoWorks I also love how your content is extremely detailed and informative. I learn pretty nice tricks watching your videos. Now if only I had a stagea myself, I’d place an order!

Been here from the 1st episode of the Stagea build, watched you build the hinges for the gtr hood to a full custom body kit. Your attention to detail is insane. Looking forward to seeing this complete and what you have planned onwards. Bravo 👏
Do not pay attention to those who say something nasty, such people do not understand what work and design mean. You've made great cars, and hopefully the next project will be just as cool. I would really like another car in the cyberpunk style. You are watched all over the world, for example, I am from Russia, and I told my familiar masters about your channel, they emphasized a lot of important things for themselves.
The reason I stuck around is that you show the mistakes and the majority of the process. I hope I've learned a lot about the process and would like to give it a shot one day on my own car. Cheers to finally finishing the kit for the Stagea. I can't wait to see what it looks like on the car and painted.
i am inspired by the dedication to your craft and your meticulous attention to detail, i work from my garage in Santa Monica, California building car hoods and spoilers. Keep up with the good work brother, i learn new tricks every time i watch your videos
Never done a bodywork on a car, but from the first video i got caught into this and this became my favorite youtube channel for the fact of its zen-inducing state and the fact that I am highly impressed mostly by all the knowledge that you posses to do this by yourself. From physics, to autocad, 3d printing, colors and chemistry.... mate... its just spectacular to watch. The attention to detail is satisfying to see. also, quite a good content to play for the boys when they wanna talk and chill. you just realize that whoever's talking is slowly losing his grip on the subject because eyes are constantly turning towards the video and they can't quite figure out what tf are you doing at the moment 😂😂
Brilliant end to this mold-making story. Really looking forward to seeing a set of parts on your OG wagon. Best of luck with orders, a bit of sales never hurts. TAW is one of the best channels on YT because you take time to exhibit how much effing hard work and attention to detail it takes. Cheers from near Aspen, Colorado US. Cool cat, too.
As always, extremely well executed to a beautiful standard, you truly have the attitude of a craftsman. I would definitely feel confident buying anything you are selling, knowing that it will be very well made!

Loved watching all the videos of you working on the Sky-gea, so much time and dedication and the results really show. I loved the comments at the end of the video, they made me laugh. 🤣 People clearly have no idea.. When you strive for perfection, it just that's time and often many iterations. I can't wait to see this project finally finished and looking awesome. Top work man!
Hell yeah! It's finished! Also, funny coincidence but on a whim I decided to look up "2-Door Mirage/Lancer Coupe to Evo conversions" and the internet had led me to one of your earlier works, that's pretty damn cool too!
For those that doesn't appreciate your videos i feel bad for them... Maybe they can learn something in tik tok's 🤣🤣 i love your work, all the detail in to it.. You are the best!!!
I totally understand how people feel and what you are trying to do as well. But the thing is you can't make everyone happy. Keep it up, watching you actually making me wanted to import 1 stagea to my country and order your kits
I have never build a mould. But i do have a background in autobody and what you do is no small feat. You seriously have my considering building my own hood for my c10
Hahahahaha love the sharing comments section As for my build, there isn't one yet, waiting for the right opportunity to buy a VW Brasília, and make a cool widebody for it. Cool old Brazilian car. Seeing your videos definitely give me the courage to try it myself. This kit is 🔥, keep it up!
Everything I know regarding making body kit/composite materials panels have learned from you. Thank you for sharing. Wish you all the best with the body kit sales!!
Macht keiner! Also mein volles Respekt an den GFK Bauer👍👍👍
Watching through this videos, pushed to start carbon fiber bussines,Thanks to you and your videos I started doing what i really love in my life - working with cars and tuning.Really enjoying all these mold videos and stuff and understand what it takes to get it all,how much time and effort.Great job as always!
The best channel on all of UA-cam. As you say, each and every piece is different and you never know how it might end up. I like it when you make a video of all the patterns or changes you make. Your videos really relax me.
Each episode is like one big movie!!! I'm looking forward to the new episodes and watching it with pleasure! I can't imagine what will happen in the end, but to say for sure - it will be a masterpiece among this body, in addition to those that enthusiasts in the world did for this car!!! This huge set, and even more so its level and quality of execution, is worth the money, because it is not just a product, but also a huge amount of time spent!!! Having the opportunity, I would love to purchase this product, because I am the owner of such a unique wagon, although in the AXIS factory kit!!!! Good luck friend!!!
Dude, amazing work - seriously. I haven't made any parts yet but I have done some repairs to a body kit I recently purchased for cheap, and your videos have helped out a ton in learning how to work with fiberglass. I'd love to start making a custom body kit for my car once I get my own place, but im not good at design, it would have to take a lot of time and inspiration lmao Keep it up bro, looking good!
love seeing you do your work! you motivate me to do something similar and perhaps modify a stripped chassis into an original car someday. stay on the grind and keep it going!
Thank you for all the content and your work is immaculate dude! Learned a ton from you and made my first mould off a roof recently that turned out pretty good! Thanks!
Screw ‘em all! I look forward to watching you build something, we live in a world of instant gratification where people have no patience or understanding of the effort of what’s required to make even the most mundane component let allow something so bespoke, keep doing what you do, I’ll be watching, (that sounds creepy)
Amazing work as usual.I hope you make as much money as you possibly can selling these kits .I don't even have one of these cars Or live in the same country, yet I want Still want to buy a kit Because of your craftsmanship lol. OUTSTANDING work my friend. I hope in the next few videos You show us putting the kit on your car.

Hahahahaha love the sharing comments section
As for my build, there isn't one yet, waiting for the right opportunity to buy a VW Brasília, and make a cool widebody for it. Cool old Brazilian car.
Seeing your videos definitely give me the courage to try it myself.
This kit is 🔥, keep it up!
Everything I know regarding making body kit/composite materials panels have learned from you. Thank you for sharing. Wish you all the best with the body kit sales!!
Bro your level of meticulous work and details you put into these moulds is mind-blowing. Awesome work
The grind has been real. So much work done by a single person. Gotta say, garage is relatively clean for the amount of sanding you do haha
Haha, probably the first time anyone has ever called this workshop clean before.
@@TofuAutoWorkscould certainly be worse. It’s a miracle you’re not up to your knees in sanding dust
Macht keiner! Also mein volles Respekt an den GFK Bauer👍👍👍
Watching through this videos, pushed to start carbon fiber bussines,Thanks to you and your videos I started doing what i really love in my life - working with cars and tuning.Really enjoying all these mold videos and stuff and understand what it takes to get it all,how much time and effort.Great job as always!
congrats on hitting the finish line. more moulds... more fireglass... XD
Helluva journey, mate!
Hope u smash it on sales! 👍
The best channel on all of UA-cam. As you say, each and every piece is different and you never know how it might end up. I like it when you make a video of all the patterns or changes you make. Your videos really relax me.
I learn a lot from your video. And I really love how meticulous you are. You did a great job 👌🏼👌🏼
Congrats dude, it's been a journey! Must be a relief to get it done. nice job! 🤙 🇦🇺 ✌️
Awww yisss, amazing work as always. Can't wait to see the finished product!
I'd love to start making a custom body kit for my car once I get my own place, but im not good at design, it would have to take a lot of time and inspiration lmao
Keep it up bro, looking good!
love seeing you do your work! you motivate me to do something similar and perhaps modify a stripped chassis into an original car someday. stay on the grind and keep it going!
Mis respetos maestro, es increible la forma en que trabajas !
Saludos desde Paraguay !!

Eres UN GRANDE sigue a si .

Keep going, your work is huge.
Thank you for all the content and your work is immaculate dude! Learned a ton from you and made my first mould off a roof recently that turned out pretty good! Thanks!
Screw ‘em all! I look forward to watching you build something,
we live in a world of instant gratification where people have no patience or understanding of the effort of what’s required to make even the most mundane component let allow something so bespoke, keep doing what you do, I’ll be watching, (that sounds creepy)
Очень достойная работа долго следил за созданием кита. Порадовал подход и дизайнерские решения. Удачи и успехов вам
Man, you are the best of the best! Don't stop! It's always a pleasure to watch your work.

That's it?! I was expecting the line of moulds to be like 10 times longer 😉
