    Baseless
    Check for the protein absorption ratio for soya chunks and tofu.
    Tofu, as it is made from fermentation of soya milk, has more absorption and less estrogen receptors than of soya chunks.
    Calories is not the only way to define whether the food is good to eat or not

    There is 50gms protein per 100gms of soya chunks but ofcourse u mentioned boiled soyachunks which means lots of water in it while regular tofu has 8gms protein per 100 gms raw tofu which means u need to buy 308 gms of tofu to get 25 gms protein while only 50gms soya chunks

      I have a question, I am bit confused about how exactly the boil things get measured like if I am taking 50g raw soya then the calorie is showing a bit higher but even I’m clicking on the boiled soya the calories are on a lower side so what exactly this means ? Like the 50 raw is decreasing it’s calories after getting boiled or the it saying the boiled 50g soya already has low calories 😅

      @@avijeetkurmi5890soya chunks get heavier after getting boiled by obsorbing water. The protein doesn’t go anywhere but the weight gets increased because of water. So what you saw is the protein per weight after boiling them.

      Soya chunks when dry contains 52% or 52g protein per 100g of total weight. But when you boil them or soak them in boiled water, they become almost 3 times the dry weight.
      So the protein, carbohydrates and fat quantity remains same, as before but only moisture content increases. So 50g soy becomes 150g and 26g initial protein becomes 26/150=17.33%
      Tofu contains some fat, more than soy chunks because soy chunk is by product of soya oil manufacturing. The leftover pulp contains negligible fat and thus nuggets or defatted soy flour is made from it.

      Calories: 181
      Fat: 11g
      Protein: 21.8g (which is a lot more that you stated)
      Calcium: 861mg
      Manganese: 1.5mg
      Fiber: 2.9g

    for people who are worried about estrogen you need atleast more than half kilo of soya chunks everyday for that.
    but you can worry digestion issue which I faced.

      More than 500 g actually.
      Milk contains real estrogen but that does nothing.
      Soy contains phytoestrogen which is 100 - 1000 times weaker than real estrogen also then phytoestrogen don't have that much affect as that of real mammalian estrogen found in milk & some meat

    Bruh! 100 grams of tofu gives only about 8 grams of protein. So to get 25 grams of protein from tofu, around 300 grams of tofu is required. Please get your facts right. Do not spread wrong information

      Most common tofu that we have gives 8gm protein per 100gm of tofu while there are other tofu varients that has more upto 21gm per 100gms of raw tofu .

    You also need to think about how well your body can actually use the protein in these foods. Soya chunks have low bioavailability, so your body doesn't absorb all of the 25g of protein they contain. Tofu, however, has great bioavailability, meaning your body can use almost all the protein in it.

      Soaking the chunk increases its size and weight to almost 3 times. You cant eat 225g soy chunks. Better take 50g dry soy chunks and cook it. Still you get 26g protein from it.
      Google is just a machine and software. It can never make you understand the concepts unless you try to understand by yourself.

      Chicken is much better than soy. Replace your soy milk with real milk, I buy my milk raw from the farms.
      Soy isn't meant to be eaten. It's full of estrogen. And that estrogen soy has isn't meant to be consumed.

    Don't eat a lot of soy, once a week is fine. As good of a source it is of protein, it also has a substance which is basically called external oestrogen. If you are a man, the reasons to avoid it are pretty obvious, and even for women high oestrogen causes proliferation of the endometrium or Uterine wall, which will in turn, lead to a lot of problems with reproductive organs and female external genetilia.
