@@commiedog425 I don't mind I like starting over even after losing a big base. Happen with me and my friend playing RLcraft we forgotten to sleep in beds then we both die. I told me friend forget able it, I been wanting to start a new, I hated the base anyways. And surprise surprise I found a best location with so many village nearby like 6 only 200 blocks apart. We made an epic base afterwards.
Hey Kysen great to see another Minecolonies Survival Let's Play. I'm a big fan of this mod and have been considering developing my own Let's Play videos because of yours for this mod.
I made the mistake of having my first colony with the mod be a dark oak themed colony. Everything is a treehouse! So you need obscene amounts of dark oak wood. My new diamond axe is almost broke due to all the wood chopping!
depends, if you can make a decent treefarm, like you are not playing ONLY with minecolonies it is no problem.. if you have only vanilla means of getting dark oak, then yeah, it can be bothersome.. if not.. just set up tree farm from any mod and be swimming in wood..

Hey what did you mean by protect your citizens? How does one do that? While you can box yourself in to afk how do you protect the people of your colony ?
Yes you can! You need to edit the configs to do it. In configs set "infinite colonies" option to ON. Then in game: /mc colony setabandoned 1 Then: /mc colony addofficer 1 (your ign) Then re-log and then you can make a second colony. If you're doing a server I believe there are server downloads available on the link in my description and I would ask for help in the MineColonies wiki, also linked in my description :)
@@beakerthebeaver581 yes, you can but compiling your own mods can be tricky if you're new to mods. I'd suggest sticking with official Modpacks on curse forge for now and slowly learn about them 🙂 but if you want to go for it just do lots of searching on Google and UA-cam and you'll get great help
um fun fact is...i instaled this modpack and it...works but this is not this modpack...like i have tons of magic stuff...no townhall no ships nothing...so i dont know what should i do. its exactly same pack EXACTLY
When i played minecolonies i got very frustrated... Because the builder was 50% of the time confused.. and 70% of the time only wanted to use gold tools.. mainly the gold paxel

I've had desert colonies before, but quickly got tired of the cute little morons killing themselves on cactus regularly... (I think the BoP quicksand contributed to citizen deaths as well)

I noticed that there's a desert temple right in your village. Are you going to flatten it or maybe incorporate it into your town?
I'm going to incorporate it :) I'm thinking a beacon in there and something useful but idk what yet

Just use FTB Ultimine with stone axes.

Those racks are the same size as wooden chests. Only the racks from the warehouse get bigger.
