I like how Humble Lamb Bibles have "The Word of God" printed on their spine instead of "Holy Bible". Not that there's anything wrong with "Holy Bible" of course. I just think that's so cool and unique, and it gets the point across. It is the Word of God after all.
With the blue lettering for the words of Christ, their website points out the letters are visible to those that are color blind. I never made the connection to that. Thanks for the detailed review Tim. Love the channel.
Hi Tim...! Love watching your reviews 'over & over'. I am 'seriously' considering purchasing a copy of the NEW KING 🤴 JAMES VERSION [NKJV] 'Shepherd Bible' bound in blue leather
Hi there, Tim! Aren't these Bibles great? I really enjoyed your review even though I already own this one. LOL! I ordered two of these Bibles as soon as you could preorder - one for myself and one as a gift. I actually chose the two colors that you have, the lunar yellow and the ethereal pink. They are so beautiful! I love the quality, the colors, the fore edge design of the Lion or the Shepherd, the words of Christ in Blue, the font and the overall simplicity of the Bible that helps to draw you in to read it every day. The KJV as the version that I grew up with - before modern English translations were widely available. I love the beauty of the KJV language and am used to it, so I don't generally find it difficult to understand. That said, the archaic word translations are sometimes still helpful to clarify the translation that extra little bit. Plus it allows newer Bible readers the chance to explore this beautiful translation without as much difficulty understanding the meaning of some passages. Humble Lamb also gives away an economy Bible for every Humble Lamb premium bible that they sell. It is a wonderful ministry that I love to support. Daniel and his team at Humble Lamb give phenomenal service too and are a joy to talk to online.( Can you tell that I am a fan of the humble Lamb Bibles?)
Hi again '@7Dorie 🌟'...! Just an added 'afterthought' regarding the CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY PRESS edition of the KJV (ISBN 978-1-107-60807-8): It is a 'red letter' edition with the 'words' of the LORD in a deep scarlet-❤ -red...! Blessings, "Bill"...!
i just ordered, earlier tonight, the KJV Lion in Lunar Yellow with the Fore-Edge design of the roaring Lion of Judah stomping on a snake. i cannot wait to get it
Your unboxing convinced me to check them out. I decided on the nkjv red shepherd, it's great for the price plus they offer a 10% coupon for first time purchases I believe. God bless 🙏🏻
Tim, this channel is going to become a problem for me. Can’t afford to be a premium bible collector unless I adopt the Erasmus principle as I call it. Supposedly he said, “when I get a little money I buy books, then if I have any left I buy food and clothing.” Now I just have to convince my wife. 😂
I’m homeless. So I Wouldn’t have a problem limiting myself , unfortunately . I just want about 3 different translation bibles to Cover all the bases. I want to stick to Humble Lamb. They seem to really stay true to bringing The Word Of God a very intimate approach To a personal relationship with God. I am like a kid in a candy store I am waiting anxiously for my Lion to be shipped out and arrive in June .
Thank you for the great review. At this price point, is there anything better you would recommend? I have a Shepherd's edition of NKJV coming in the mail. Just wondering of some alternative/equivalent Bibles at this price and quality level. Thank you.
Hi Tim...! Love watching your reviews 'over & over'. I am 'seriously' considering purchasing a copy of the HUMBLE LAMB edition of the NEW KING JAMES VERSION [NKJV]n in the blue l
Beautiful bibles. Olivia’s favorite color is yellow. Does this Bible come in any other version besides KJV? Would be a great Christmas gift for her but not sure about KJV. Thanks! ❤
you know what'd be cool? take a bible that is a black-letter text in the Gospels and make all the words of Christ in Bold. that way, even if it wasn't a red-letter bible, having the words of Christ in Bold would really make them stand out pretty clearly
Wow you just don't see a lot of Yellow or White Bible anymore. I remember in the 60s and 70s seeing a lot of White Bibles especially given out for 1st communion etc. thanks and take care
Tim I most 'humbly apologize'... As I was about to say, I am very interested in obtaining HUMBLE LAMB'S blue leather 'Shepherd edition' of the NKJV. Also...when available their NASB edition. Will that Bible be 'the NASB95' or 'the NASB2022' (...or is it the NASB2020
Hi Tim...😊 ! I hope your day is going well. To the best of your knowledge...does HUMBLE LAMB plan on making a "KJV LION" edition available which also includes 'the KJV translation' of the Apocrypha? If so...Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican-Episcopalians and others would find it 'extremely appealing' for sure! Otherwise...it seems to me "its appeal" will essentially 'be restricted' to Protestant Fundamentalists...unfortunately. Keep the faith 🙏...! Blessings 🙌.. "Bill"... ✝️... William Paul Johnson, Jr.
So sorry Tim...I am so 'embarrassed'...just "one more time"... Disregard my inquiry regarding which 'NASB Text' HUMBLE LAMB's editions will be made available. I just noticed you have already posted that it will be the NASB2020 Text. Though a 'NASB95 Text Edition' from HUMBLE LAMB...as a companion piece would be wonderful 😊 and "wildly popular too"...I'm sure 😀 (...perhaps one in black calf-🐂-skin and one in white goat-🐐-skin...)! GOD BLESS the "cows" and the "goats" for their sacrifices. 😄...LOL...agreed...? Suffer 'my imagination'...it's really 'intense' at the moment. But I really would like clarification...'NO CHANCE'...of purchasing HUMBLE LAMB's Bibles in 'bookstores'...right...? If so...that is most 'unfortunate'...a potential 'stumbling block' for many people. HUMBLE LAMB needs to 're-evaluate' their policy...even if requires allowing retailers to order their 'products' online for their customers. Kahpeesh...?
Hi Tim... I hope your day is going well. Undoubtedly...the beautiful aesthetics and construction of the two HUMBLE LAMB editions of the AUTHORIZED KING JAMES VERSION you reviewed are impressive. But...and I do mean...'BUT': For all of their "fancy embellishments", I would dismiss both of these bibles as colossal failures...no ifs...no ands...'NO BUTS'. My reasoning for so doing should be obvious: Both bibles lack the KJV translation of the Books called Apocrypha...not too "cool"...unfortunately. Please...recall The Gospel According to SAINT MATTHEW: Chapter 4, Verse 4, KJV. Please...recall The Revelation of SAINT JOHN THE DIVINE: Chapter 22, Verses 18 & 19, KJV. These editions could only have 'appeal' to narrow-minded 'Protestants'. For 'Roman Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Anglican-Episcopalians' and other interested folks, what a huge disappointment: as the saying goes, "...don't judge a book by its cover...". Sorry...Tim...for the price people will have 'to shell out' for these two volumes you 'blew it' on this one. Sincerely...😔...and very 'let down'... "Bill"... William Paul Johnson, Jr.

I have both KJV and NKJV and love them!
Love Humble Lamb Bibles!
I don't own a HL Bible yet... I'm going to wait for the NASB 💜
If you want Gods perfect word get the KJV
I ordered the Lunar Yellow of the Lion KJV. I call it the “Aslan” of my collection. 🦁
Nice!

If you like this style, you might also consider the Schuyler Canterbury.
*Ran* to this review! So stoked to get it!
Those Bibles look really cool.
Especially like the leather lined Bibles over the paste down done by Humble Lamb.

They must have stopped making the ethereal pink version. I noticed it doesn't show up on their page anymore.
Beautiful bibles. Olivia’s favorite color is yellow. Does this Bible come in any other version besides KJV? Would be a great Christmas gift for her but not sure about KJV. Thanks! ❤
They have NKJV and are working on a NASB2020
Just KJV, but I have some other ideas for her.
@@timwildsmith NKJV also. I own both. 😉

Not that I know of.
Do you know if they are going to be able to do the ESV in the future?
No news about ESV.
Does the Bible have the italicized words ?
Does the pink look that white in person?
Beautiful and very nice ..😊
Is the NASB the 95? Thank you Tim 😊
I think I read that it will be 2020.
JUST watched a latest video review and Daniel the owner of Humble Lamb confirmed the publisher date for NASB is 2020🐑
Yayyyy!!!!
Seen it online for up to $500
