hi i'm brazilian, i'm trying to learn japanese and these types of videos are having a lot of effect on my progress. I love these types of content and they are helping me a lot. Thanks!
I have been studying Japanese alone. I found the first of these reading hiragana in 3 second lesson. And I love it. I like how t It give a little fast reading challenge and made me think on the spot. Loved it. I would like it if you had a bunch more of these kind of lessons. Going into katakana at some time too. Thank you. Awesome challenge lesson.
Learn Japanese is such a long way, I'm glad to see that at least I'm at a level to read hiragan pretty good. I had like 39 and I was a bit slow on one :D Thanks for the video!
It helps. I'm a year in (more of a hobby then anything else), and a bit above this level, but it definetly helps. I noticed that I have an easier time seeing the kanji for some words (for example: 時間 or 家族 are easier for me to reckognize thenじかん or かぞく), which pretty much explains for me why Japan decided to use the Kanji.
yep same here also if you are a bit above this level I suggest you do 2x speed I find this still fine but some 4 hiragana words are a little more challenging
I keep confusing g-s and d-s. But this is a great exercise for practice, I read it 10 times already if not more, and I'll continue until I get there. Thank you!
While learning japanese i found out my hiragana reading skills are really weak. I fact i could read hiragana but i was taking me longer than it should. Thanks to you videos i can enhance my reading speed. I managed to get all 3 and 4 character ones and 2 from 5 character one.
ありがとう、please continue to make these video they help a lot in practicing my reading , it feels good when you get the word right and even the translation of the word . It feels that all those time i spend learning Japanese didnt go to waste it helped me come this far thank you .
absolutely love these to practice with! i started learning japanese about a month ago, but it's kind of hard to practice on my own. this was really helpful to practice hiragana. while i feel like i can read hiragana, it does take me a bit to decipher what it says, this helped me read it a bit faster. thanks so much!!
「みんなさん、ここまで よく頑張りました」 The fact that I understood that right off the bat, tied with the fact that this was so easy for me... man, I've really come far. I'm proud of that.
I have just started learning japanese because I am going to try there on student visa. These videos are really helping me progressing my reading capacity. THANK U SO MUCH LOVE FROM NEPAL🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵
These were good. Only suggestion would be to make the words stick to a category or subject, and to throw the kanji on the side somewhere or after when the word is reviled in English maybe? Amazing videos!
My Japanese level is pre-advanced but as soon as I saw the first word, うで, I thought "What does it mean again?" 🤦🏻♀️ Videos like these are much lower than my current level but I still think it's really useful because I get to re-learn words I've forgotten and also improve on my intonation. So thank you!
I havent studied Japanese in almost a decade and took your test on a whim. I was amazed at how easily I was still able to read everything and how many words I could remember. My grammar has decayed so much but I guess the writing system stays in your head
I know this is a hiragana reading test video, but it's great to test your pitch accent too. Most of the words where very common so its nice hearing them being said by a native Japanese speaker!
This video really helped me to gain a little belief on my japanese learning progress, because I could read all the words. Doomo arigatoo gazaimasu sensei!!!
I started to self-study just a few days ago, makes me happy that I'm able to read some hiragana of course with some help from people like you sensie. Keep it up! Moving to katakana soon.
Good video! Thanks to the author for his good work! I'd like to recommend Yuriy Ivantsiv's practice book Polyglot Notes: Practical Tips for Learning Foreign Language. This book has many useful methods for learning a foreign language, how to develop your memory, how to memorize words, learn grammar, quickly learn to speak, read and write. All recommend this excellent book! Good luck to everyone in learning a foreign language!
I learned hiragana by myself through listening to japanese songs while taking a look at the lyrics. Somehow I memorized all of hiragana characters, and have read all of the words in the video. I'm quite proud of myself and I'm learning katakana now.
This is great! I learned japanese in college so long ago. I remember a lot from back then but Im so slow at reading and remembering words I see. This is a wonderful sharpening exercise
Same here. 😂 But if you keep repeating the words, you’ll get used to them. みず, つき and すき。They’re music to my ears because I’m used to seeing the words.
I'm Malaysian and I'm 13 years old. I learn japanese from anime and I learn hiragana but I can't read it fastly, and I found your channel :) it's really helping. Thank you so much :D
I didn't get them in the 3 second time, but I got most of them when pausing for a few seconds. Being able to instantly see my mistakes on some of them is super helpful
I started learning Hiragana 2 days ago and I'm proud to say that I'm 100% right in this test but I'm taking less than 30 sec to understand words not 3 sec 😊.
Hi Tomo Sensei! Really enjoyed this video. It's a good way to self-practice. May I suggest to create videos that help with spelling too? Thanks, and keep it up!
Were you able to read all the words this time? I'd be great to see your progress!😄

That's right! Kanji helps to recognize the words faster. Glad it was helpful!😄
Same here man! Actually I'm pretty slow at hiragana compared to kanji somehow. These videos do help me boost my Hiragana.
