- I just installed my new Oneida Supercell dust collector in the outdoor shed. This way I keep the noise down in the studio and save some space.

Aye! Father to the rescue! so sweet to see him in the video!
Wow, great to see your dad in the video's helping out. That's what family is all about. That looks amazing.
I am very lucky to have this family :)
The painted ducting looks so much better than the bare silvery colour.
Oneida in Europe? Hell yes please with sugar on top!
This - BY FAR - the cleanest, best considered and aesthetically pleasing dust collection system I have ever seen.
Well done! Good inspiration. :-)
Wow, what a nice compliment! Thanks 😊
European versio would be so nice! Please Oneida!! 😊
oh look, an ad for Oneida - bought and paid for
I have desperatly tried to convince Oneida to make an EU version of the electronics in this machine for almost a year now. Offered my personal time to help them in any way to make this possible and even find local resellers and distributors but no luck so far. Best machine on the market but so far not been able to convince them to make one for Europe. SOOO want his unit NOW...
Supernice video by tje way and helpnus push Oneida to make an EU model ASAP.
Awesome! With the 90° restriction gone I'd be the first to buy...so please, ONEIDA, make the move the Europe!
YES ONEIDA COME TO EUROPE PLEASE!
Your dad seems like a very nice dad. 🙂
Thank you for continuing to share your work. The evolution of your studio/shop, and of your skills and creativity over the past 5-1/2 years should encourage every maker who is starting out on a shoe-string budget to keep making, building, and improving. I'm looking forward to the next five years, and the next, and the next. Always something interesting and creative at Get Hands Dirty!
I’m so glad to hear that you are still following my work during all these years :) thanks Christopher!
This is an eerie, eerie coincidence ... I have just started sketching out an extraction system for my tiny basement workshop - this is brilliant.
So cool that it came right on time for you! Hopefully this can give you some useful ideas.
now i want a place where i could instal something like that
A friend has a carpentry shop, 4 people work and uses 2 cyclones. It has metal pipes like yours. Actually, I wants to write about safety, about electrostatic discharge. He happened to self-ignite 2 times in a pipe and a fire in a barrel. It was enough to wrap the ground wire. Note for yourself that your flexible cables have built-in wires that protect against electrostatic discharge. Regards.
yes I would buy this dust system
I absolutely love your channel. If I ever die and come back again I hope I can make a living doing what you do. You seem so happy doing this kind of work!
I know it's an over-sized vacuum but it's SOOO KOOL...
I jumped right along with you at 9:01 🤣. Very nice video, good work!
Great video! No unnecessary music or chat, straight to the point and very thorough in explaining. Nice touch showing the numbers. Thanks for this video
Woww best idea... 💯I am MR SRI channel from Sri Lanka, I like your video as an inspiration for me...Keep going❤👌
Just install a rafter hinge for your dust collector when maintaining it. Seems like you can attach two wooden beams to reinforce and slide an H-bar between them and one of those mechanical hinge for lifting weights. After that, just build a lifting cradle meant for it. That way, you can make a two-man job, into an one man.
Sweet setup, fantastic demonstration, absolutely awesome finish (that black & yellow paint looks great!) - I think Oneida should share your video with future clients!
Thank you! I really appreciate it.
First, another excellent video. I just love your attention to detail in your videos and the creativity of your projects. But . . . OMG you look just like your dad! What a good looking family.
Ahaha thank you! But wait until you see my mom...we are very much alike actually 😂
Great shop upgrade video Cristiana. You caught a beautiful sunset @9:12 too.
this was a great watch and amazing installation!
Wow a well thought out system. I like the way the vacuum pipes are hidden above and behind the ceiling tiles . Great job you just got a new supporter.
Very nice shop setup and the Oneida dust collection is a very nice addition. I know this took a lot of work but it will be worth it. Keep getting your hands dirty!
It looks fantastic!! Congratulations on the partnership with Oneida. The fit and finish of their parts are fantastic. We have a Dust Deputy on our CNC snd could not be happier. Blown away by your attention to detail and the way you make everything look great!!!
I would LOVE that unit here in Aus too!
Amazing attention to detail
This is nicely timed - I just moved into a new shop and I haven't figured out how to manage dust collection. Thumbs up and thanks for posting!
I love that dust collector: and the colour nearly matches the Triton and other tools I have!
very cool to see and here the comments about the 90° angles, was surprising to see them and hear of the oneida power!
Super matériel,ça va aspirer, à bientôt salut Jeannot 🛠😉
Always enjoy the videos. Just be extra safe when cutting metal that produces little shards. Maybe googles (with no air holes) instead of safety glasses.
Nice way to incorperated the dust collection system in a small space. Impressive system. Would love this
Looks great. Oneida - Get going, I want your extractor here in Scotland.
I hope to be as cool as you some day. This looks amazing and the the felt ceiling tiles blend in really nicely.
You are super cool, Lauren, what are you talking about? :)
Testing suction with your hand on a new DC we all do that :-) its always satisfying.super neat instalation.
Do satisfying watching you work.
I would love to see a video on all the machines(cutting machines, drilling machines, etc) and tools(leveler, measurementtools, and more) that are used in woodworking.
This might even be a whole new playlist.
Don't forget to give an overview of the tools, the features and a little hands on with the features.
best regards from Poland
Great job! Greetings from Poland :)
I'm relly looking for something like that!! Supercell make it work in Europe too please :)
always enjoy your well-thought-out vids! dad must be proud
Wow, I really like this dust collection system! Nice job! Also I'm looking for a good dust collector for my workshop here in Italy but didn't find it yet. But if Oneida push their products here in Europe maybe I'll find one that fits my needs.
Dust collection is so important in a workshop and your equipment seams quite efficient.
Good choice, good job, great video as always 👍
I've been looking at this system for what feels like ages now and waiting for it to come to the UK. I'd definitely buy it if it was available and honestly you just turned a great product into something awesome. I love the colours and I agree it looks really good in the studio shop. Congrats on getting your hands on a brilliant bit of kit!!! Very envious right now!!! As always 💯%... 👍 🇬🇧.
I have this vacuum, all I can say is, that is a strong man lifting a very powerful machine
My dad is crazy but also he is super dad :)
Excellent job, Cris! Though I think you should consider a duct for return air flow. It is not just about negative pressure as such, it will also suck out cool air in the summer if you have A/C and warm air in the winter and replace it with street temperature air. And judging by the excellent efficiency of your new system, this will happen VERY quickly once you start working.
This would be great to be able to get it in Europe
impressive...yea Onida
Brilliant!
Hey Cristiana, just a word about dust collection and metal chips. . . you don't want to vacuum chips into the dust bin. The chips can get hot traveling through the duct work and possibly smoulder / catch fire when you aren't there. Great job on the installation!!!
That's an awesome system. Thanks for sharing
That light looks so cool.
That's the nicest installation I've seen. You're awesome!
HIiii, i'm from brazil!!! i love your content and all things you do on the channel!!! thank you for posting a excellent content, you inspire me to make things in my home, in my job, make wood projects and metal too!!!
Que óptimo, muito obrigada por seguires o meu trabalho! Boa sorte para os teus projectos!
Excelente trabajo,saludos desde argentina
Greetings from Poland^^ love watching your work! :)
Daddy's are underateded.
This would be perfect for our new makerspace here in Denmark! Will have to try and mimic this installation with a more locally available collector for now.
I just started to look into the Oneida for the shop I work in a few weeks ago here in the states. Nice to know Oneida was good to work with. Your install looks fantastic!!
Nicely done!
Nice setup, excellent job!!
That's a gorgeous system!
Great system & great installation too. Amazing to see the negative pressure effect on your door & room environment. Should be enough to suck out lots of airborne particles too.
If manufacturers build in heat exchanger on air return, you wouldn't be sending your studio/workshop heat out with the dust!!
Well done installation👍🏻😎
Impressive installation
Amazing improvement for your studio ! As always, everything is neat and clear and I love it ! A great tool is even better when so nicely integrated !
stylish and functional as always!
Hey Ellie, thanks!
Absolutely Brilliant set up! Very very clean and neat. Great job. I would love to gt one here for my shop.
Wow! Dude, your shop is always amazing. Everything is thought out so well.
Beautiful job!
This is a awesome set up! Very nicely done. Lots of thought went into this, I'm sure. Great job! Go, Dad!!
Love how you do everything perfectly. Very nice to watch, and I learned some cool techniques. Thanks!
Awesome upgrade!
You're amazing! Inspiring.
Thanks for the nice and educational video.
Oh, cool - checked out their website & they’re about an hour and a half from me. Definitely will be looking into their offerings.
Impressive, looks great., well thought out.👍
Great video. Super clean install. Lots of detail. Must be much quieter. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Thank you, great idea. Move out all air handling, compressed air and dust extraction. 👍👍👍👍👍
Love the dust collector Oneida. Love your vlog 👍👌
Excelente video! Obrigado por tantos detalhes.
Very nice work 👍
That is a sweet setup
I'm in Europe and love this!
Very nice work 😍 i like it so much thanks 👍👍👍
Tá espectacular! Mt bem desanhado, até ao pormenor dos feltros ;) Parabéns!!
Very tidy installation, love the way you ran the duct through the window. I have similar vac, CTL midi-great for hand tools, hopeless for the tablesaw-and would seriously consider buying a 240V version of this.
thank you for video !!
For the rear bolt(s) get an electric ratchet. I do a lot of automotive work and it’s a game changer for small spaces and my gigantic hands. 😂 great video btw!
Congrats twice, beautiful work shop and country (I visited Portugal last month, I couldn't have enough tapas.)
Good video. I think the attention to detail, particularly with the ductwork is impressive. I am upgrading my shop to a Supercell because my granddaughter wants to be able to work there with me so I want it to be as safe as possible.
I think it is important that she learn manual skills because her school will never teach them.
Also big hats off to your father for helping you. I feel I am that kind of father, and now grandfather, so I honor him.
One question, how did Onedia have to change the electrics to work on European electrical systems?
Amo o seu canal, parabéns
Very helpful, I would be interested in purchasing this system if it was available in Europe/UK. Really like your idea of painting the visible pipe work, very stylish.
Cool projet ! Thanks for the video !
