@@kiradavis9156 Tbh, I worry about Kwame too...I don’t find him sincere and I worry he might hurt Chelsea in the future tbh. I have concerns he is a bit of a player and I never comment on things as it is not good to judge others, as often we are wrong anyway...so, I apologise if I’m wrong...when Chelsea gives Kwame long looks whilst squinting her eyes, I wonder if she 100% trusts him.
I think there’s potential there though and I hope for the best for them.

With Zack, I think he jokes about being a stripper to see their reaction, so he knows if they’re going to judge him if he reveals that. He also told some women he’s homeless, which I think he revealed he was at one point.
Also, having watched the whole season (at least what’s out), I’m curious if Paul is on the autism spectrum. He could just be very analytical, but I get some subtle ASD vibes from him at times
I was thinking that Zack shows some signs of Aspergers. I have been in a relationship with a diagnosed asperger person and the both act quite the same, socially awkward. It's strange to me that he didn't see or feel that Irina wasn't into him at all. She rejected him so obviously and he didn't realize it. So.. It seems he doesn't seem to have the social skill to see what a real connection between two persons looks like.. (sorry the grammar, English is not my mother tongue)
I was gonna comment on that, i don't know if it ws on this episode or the next but when he said he had a problem with past girlfriends' families not approving him the stripper jokes suddenly made so much sense
@@Chrisy0850 I think he knows especially after the met. Things happen fast, they basically didn’t spend much time together, so he took some time, which is literally just a week? Or two weeks before he called things off
You’re review was very surprising ngl. You had the opposite opinion I had of each person.
You said Kwame seemed very genuine & charming but to me he comes off as that guy that says every stereotypical thing he knows a woman wants to hear in order to win a girl over; the “sweet talker”. A lot of what Kwame did during the show seemed performative & cringey to me 🥴 The singing and guitar playing, the forced/stiff/dry/robotic laugh, the “i DoNt WaNt To HaVe SeX. LEtS mAkE lOvE”. He behaves like he just watched a rom com & mirrored what was in the movie. He never directly says how he feels about each woman & goes thru the show entertaining Micah behind Chelsea’s back, telling them both what they want to hear.
You said Paul was nervous & trying to say the perfect thing; I viewed him as the typical introvert that is nervous in social situations but is trying to answer the questions honestly & open up which is why you see him pausing & hesitating. He also says the same thing to both women bc introverts are sometimes at a loss for words so we tend to repeat phrases we’ve said in other conversations as a way to keep the convo flowing. Not a dishonest thing, more of a social anxiety strategy.
You said Tiffany seemed judgemental bc she said she would typically not date someone without a degree. I think that was just her being honest about one of her dealbreakers & a common dealbreaker for a lot of people is not having a college degree bc they correlate a degree with financial stability & someone that will have a reliable job; is that true for everyone with degrees? No, but still I feel like most people have at least one “superficial” dealbreaker/preference.
Micah doesn’t seem more feminine or demure than Chelsea, I just think Micah is use to being pursued/chased while Chelsea is more upfront with letting a guy know she’s interested.
Bliss & Zack wasn’t just bonding over the song, they were bonding over the fact that they both were introduced to the song by their mothers who they have a strong love for and value a lot.
I think a lot of what you said is spot on! That's the great thing about doing this... in Part 2 I'll learn more about who they are. I'll also explain why I came to the conclusions that I did.

We've all been trying to figure out what the guys "saw" in Micah. She must have gotten her personality edited out. She seems like a sweet girl when she isn't around her "mean girl" friends. But, beyond that, she just seems kinda basic.

I still don't think Zack is that bad, I don't know why everyone hates him. I feel like he thought Irina was the kind of girl he deserved, he still has insecurity surrounding how he grew up.
@@sugarwaterpurple5280I think his mannerisms are just creepy, I wouldn’t be able to be near him. Not that he’s a bad guy or anything. I also think he wasn’t totally attracted to Irina but was kind of making it work, but it sucks that he wasted all that work and firsts on her rather than Bliss.

Yeah that was the impression I got. I don’t think that intent translated well but it seemed like he had been burned before by people judging his mom and how he was raised so he uses that joke as a filter. If someone is judgey when he says he was a stripper, then he doesn’t go any deeper with them.
I got a disingenuous vibe from Kwame from the start. He seems very smart but he seems like he's saying things that he knows a woman would like to hear.
Idk, I'm very much a trust my gut kind of person, and my gut was telling me Kwame, while charming, is somewhat of a contrived personality. I haven't finished the season, so I could be wrong but 🤷♀️

No forreallll, all the men (except brett) were fully different people after the pods and most of the women even the most toxic were exactly the same in the pods and out. It was very apparent this season and I wonder why

I hope you do a part 2! It’s fun to what someone carefully analyze this show from a completely different angle than i do. The thing you started picking up on but couldn’t quite figure out about Zack and Paul is they’re neurodivergent and using a neurodivergent communication style. Bliss is too, it’s just not as immediately obvious, so that’s part of why she and Zack are feeling a connection that’s stronger than you’d expect from their limited interactions so far. micah uses a neurotypical communication style and that’s why you can feel something missing in her + paul’s connection. when you look at them through that lens they aren’t confusing anymore

I need you to react and rate Zack and Bliss . I honestly think they are the most compatible couple in all 4 seasons and have some of the strongest natural chemistry as well. Watch more episodes especially episodes 6,,7, & 8.

@jordanparker657 I didn't say they were the best? They are my favorites, but thats besides the point. I said they are the most compatible and they are. They have like so many of the same things. Both are nerd overachievers, both love classic literature. Zack always says how their brian works the same. Lauren and Cameron are lovely. They have more of a opposite attract kind of connection not the compatability connection that Zack and Bliss share..
Also I think they are happily married now. Even if they didn't say yes at the end of the season, they probably got married after the show. They have such a deep connection, a life long marriage is written all over them.

I mean to be fair it's easy for this guy to rate the couples after the show is over and he can see the outcome... I'd be way more impressed if he could predict the trajectory of these relationships without spoilers lol

From the interviews I can tell Chelsea marries Kwame. But on this show Micah seems more like his type, but not what’s good for him. Chelsea is a good wife for him

I basically agree w everything I said now that I saw the whole season. Only diff is I LOVE Zack, and Kwame is a bad drunk. But I still really like Kwame. Aside from that, I’m pretty darn happy w my blind first episode analysis.
Kwame was also my favorite, and kind of still is, but I have the feeling that Chelsea really wants him 100%for her, she pressures, she is very decisive, she is this kind of woman who like “where the eye puts the bullet”. At the end i had the feeling he is taking her more for the show.
