Great and very detailed review!Definitely one of the best reviews on this bag! I've been eyeing this bag for along time. But for some reason never got it. I'm not sure should I just get it before it's discontinued.

Love your videos, straight to the point and engaging. I just bought the Gucci Soho Disco in black, worried it was going to become unavailable due to the design phasing out of stores, hopefully it will remain a classic still. Completely off topic, but you really remind me of Winona Ryder for some reason, she's an absolute goddess, so it's a compliment, but I'd say you have a more Mediterranean complexion, which is lovely!!

Im really thinking of buying this! But im torn about the color either black or the rose beige! Your review was great, do you have any clue when they will discontinue?
Theresa Marie I have been making the same decision regarding colour. As far as I know, Rose Beige is sold out in many places like in Thailand and in Hong Kong. I was told by a Gucci SA in Thailand that they already have new collection (two-tone colour) to replace it. However, you can still get them in Gucci shops in London and some shops in USA. Hurry up if you haven't got it yet.
This bag is discontinued. Now they are just selling what they have.

The Soho bag has been discontinued. I was at Gucci today! I have the black one.
I really love the Marmont collection now with the pretty hardware.
This is perfect timing, I'm considering buying one as my first designer bag! What do you think? Any other I should consider in your opinion? xx

Bianca D I love the marmont mini! I went to go look at it today and it's about half the size of the disco. It's pretty tiny but super cute!! 😊💕

Did yours smell weird when you got it? I just got mine today, straight from the Gucci website, and it has such a strong chemical scent.

Yeah, I thought as much. Pretty dissapointed right now, hopefully their customer service is good.
Hey there. I bought my Gucci Soho Disco in black from the Gucci store a few days ago and it had an odour too, almost chlorinated. I asked the sales associate to bring out 2 others of the same kind and all of them had the same scent. She put it down to the packaging the bag is wrapped in. I was relieved at that point. Hope that reassures you somewhat.
I got comments from other people too about the smell, all new bags bought these past months. I don't believe at all it's due to packaging, because the smell rubbed off on my hands. One woman said it faded over time thought, but still. Very shady of Gucci. I returned mine and will be buying pre-loved.
Oh that's so bloody disappointing of Gucci :( I wanted to get pre-loved beforehand but have been searching high and low to no avail (in Vancouver where it's really hard to get the good bags) so I ended up caving in. I guess I have to accept that this must be a newer batch issue. Not happy though as the Marmont bags smelled lovely in the shop!! Hope you find a decent pre-loved.

Can you tell if this bag will be discontinued?
My strap peeled a bit:/ there were small fringes... The staff told me it would be normal if you would wear rings or when it rubs against jacket zippers. I only wore it about 10 times 😕
What are your thoughts on the Balenciaga mini city bag? Seems like a bag you would have! Looking at it for myself and can't decide on size/color!
