Besides everything you mentioned, I think this would be an amazing mommy bag to use alongside a diaper bag. That's part of the reason why I want this so much. Perfect to use as a smaller bag for personal items, while bigger items go in the diaper bag.
Thanks for the great review I've watched it over and over again. Just a few questions, over your use has there been any colour transfer from your jeans and does this colour show dirt?

I bought this bag in the tan colour after seeing your reveal of it and I am so happy I did. Very practical and easy to wear. No too much in your face. I love it for the weekends.

I just went to a Gucci store a couple days ago and I was told that they'll be discontinuing the bag :( I'm trying to decide between the tan or the black since the pink color is no longer available. Now that you've had the bag a little longer, have you noticed any problems with color transfer? I wear a lot of jeans so I'm a little worried about getting a light color.

I've watch every one of your videos and I'm re-watching this video as I've just recently purchased a soho disco bag in python skin, and I've a tendency to read reviews AFTER buying something! From what I know, the latest Gucci sohos do not come with the fringe, which is the defining look of this bag. Do you know the reason for it? Does anyone know why? Thanks xo
I've been thinking about purchasing this bag for a while! My only concern is that I wear jeans pretty much on a daily basis and I'm concerned about color transfer. Have noticed any color transfer on yours?
Amie! Is the interior of the smaller pocket sticky in your soho disco? I just got one and it has a sticky feel. Kind of a grippy sticky feel not so much a sticky that gets all over my hands or is peeling.. But it just bothers me that one pocket is sticky and the other isn't. I tried looking it up but to no avail. Please let me know if you're aware of this! Thanks! Love your videos :)

I agree with everything you said. I have one in the chalk white color and love it too. They really do hold a surprising lot considering how it looks like a small bag. A brilliant work horse!

I'm so happy that you did this video today! I was planning to look at this style on my next shopping trip. Would you consider the Gucci Soho Disco a style one could wear when dressing up for an event or mainly as a casual luxe bag? I need something dressy that holds a good amount of stuff, but I can't justify paying Chanel prices!
+CapeCodBelle I think generally it's best as a casual bag - I think it would still look great going to dinner but for a special event, cross body probably wouldn't be my first choice! The LV Alma BB is a great option if you want something that transitions well or, if that's not your style, I'd suggest checking out the Gucci Soho Mini Chain bag. It looks just like the soho disco except it has a chain for a strap which makes it a little dressier IMO! :)

Great and thorough review. I have the Gucci Soho Double Chain Shoulder bag in this color. Mine is in patent leather though. I believe the color is called blush. I think the color was part of Gucci's Spring/Summer 2014 collection.

Chase, It is a great quality bag, great structure, holds a lot, and has such style. Great value for money. Colours are limited I think, in boutique, red, black, hot pink, multi colour (red, black and cream, cream, and rose beige and exotics. The colour you have is beautiful, but as you say it is from a previous era. SOOOO cute, so soft, so posh. I just purchased this for 1170 Cdn. :( but still, in comparison to the LV Eva clutch, similar price, (which is what I was comparing it to), it is a better purchase, I think, as the LV Eva can't hold as much. This IS a great buy, thanks for the tip. C

Hi Amie, I saw this review a few months ago and fell in love with this color. I went to a few Gucci stores looking for this color but was sadly unsuccessful for a few months. But thanks to your Instagram tip, I was able to grab one from Net-a-porter so thanks very much!!! I haven't received the bag yet so I'm on pins and needles hoping it is the same color as yours.

Great review! I recently bought mine in red and love t so much!! Very comfortable to carry and fits a ton! I'm not a Gucci fan either but this bag was an exception! Totally worth it I think!

I loved my disco bag! I ended up selling it though because sometimes the bag would turn upside down and all my stuff would come out. I still love it though.

I checked Gucci's website and the price of the Soho bag is now &980...so they have raised it quite a bit from last year! 😁I still love it!
It's $980 in US dollars not pounds so it didnt go up too much! :) she said it was £650 in pounds which would be about $930 US
Now is $1190. Just bought one today. Then taxes came out to $1267.35. Wish I would of bought it years ago.

+PB PB I looked at the twinset but ending up going for the Alma BB - I thought the twinset looked a little too similar to my pochette metis! I did hear about the Chanel policy but I wrote to the flagship store in London and they responded that there is no change to their policy! They will still accept bags after 5 years and you don't need a receipt :) xx
+Chase Amie no way! so many conflicting stories as many have confirmed in the US that it's 5 years effective 1 Oct 2015, so strange! oh yes, you have the Metis + they are very, very similar - I picked up the twinset in rose ballerine emp (my 1st emp) as I couldn't get the bag out of my head! it is MIF too which is not always easy for us to find here and they had the matching MIF cles! I recently picked up the GM agenda + my SA (of 7 years!) has now left LV so it may be the last LV for a bit! I love this G disco bag, will look when the sales come around as Gucci often goes on sale here! I'm also looking at the Givenchy Pandora! Keep your eye out on that Gucci cles I mentioned, it's cuter than LV's canvas cles and easier for keys! xx are you on TPF? if so you + you wouldn't mind, you should post your C letter, so confusing! xx

Breathtaking gorgeous color. I bought a replica black Gucci soho 2 years ago and the quality and craftsmanship is outstanding.
The gold hardware is of superior quality, the leather is the same leather as the authentic Gucci. I only paid $130 and it will last forever.

I have never seen that color for this particular bag, They only have Black , Nude(Beige) and Red.
In the UK do you have to carry a passport as a form of I.D.? I've watched quite a few what's in my bag videos where women have their passports and I wondered if that is standard there?
+Kelsie Lichtcsien nope, I just carry it because I don't drive and don't have any other form of ID. Perhaps you watch a lot of Londoners? Driving isn't particularly common in the city because of the expense.

Just FYI did you know the gold on the soho is real gold plated ? My SA told me that when I bought a red one! I wish Chanel started gold plating their gold again :(

It's held up well! It's softens up quite a bit so remember to keep it stuffed anytime you're not using the bag. You'll have to check out other brands too! My gf is bringing me back YSL and it's much cheaper! ❤️ happy shopping!
