  • Dr. Powell describes the process for a biological extraction of an infected tooth. The extraction process minimizes pain caused from surgery and infection and also minimizes the chance of lingering infection through removal of the PDL ligament.

My mother age 75 is in need of your services. I met Dr. Gregory on the Sunshine Wellness Call. I am switching to bio dental too.

what can I do now. I have had a molar removed without this process and have bone loss. is there anything I can do, can I still have the ligament removed or is it too late? I found out about this after the extraction, and asked the surgeon who did it - she told me the ligament comes away with the tooth and I didn't need to worry about that. thanks

I am growing ever more wary of corporations buying up small practice doctor, dentist, and veterinary practices. Once this happens, prices increase dramatically, and the quality of care and options go down. I have switched to a functional medical doctor who runs her own practice and a functional dentist who also runs his own practice. Additionally, I've also employed the use of a homeopathic (not raike) vet for my pets. I do still see a traditional vet for any necessary surgeries as my homeopathic vet does not do spay/neuters or teeth cleanings. Side note: with proper species appropriate diet tooth cleanings/removals can be reduced or eliminated. I strongly urge others to at least consult other types of treatments as our medical care is becoming profit driven, and one size fits all. JMHO.
