_It's impossible to watch Guy's reviews and not admit your day hasn't just went from a 2 to a 10._
*I love this video. :)*
Thank you :)
Seriously. This is so good and he's sooooo humourous! BTW, J, How did you make the "I love this video. :)" part of your comment bolded? I've never been able to alter my text in a youtube video. Thanks.
hes my drug man
And your wallet has gone from a 10 to a 2 😂
8:54 the single greatest 5 seconds of UA-cam library demo.
Thanks for including Soundiron in the list! Great video!
Your welcome and thank you for the libraries. You guys rock!
Only you could have pulled off the hokey Hans Zimmer shtick, Guy - hilarious!
We need to send Hans a 2d poster of Guy for his studio,
HA! That's very funny
Humor, energy, charismatic presentation much muchly appreciated. Wish you had been teaching at my school when I was a kid, I would have learnt and retained a great deal.
I truly love watching Guy's videos! He's just so entertaining but at the same I learn a lot of valuable information! So thank you Guy! Keep doing what you do best! Cheers from Canada!
These intros are comedic gold! 😭😭😭
Wow a guest appearance by Hans Zimmer himself!! Although he seems a bit stiff today 😂 anyway, very helpful and entertaining, thanks for this! Considering Storm drums vs. Damage.
I hardly ever sub anyone from watching just one video of theirs. I usually watch a bunch of a content creators videos (if the vids are good enough to keep me moving on with them) to prove to me that channel is worth my sub, as there is just sooooo much info out there and it can get overwhelming if I've subbed too many people. This is so great in both content and humor, though, that I had to sub this man just from seeing this video alone.
thank you!
You are one in a million and hope you will get recognized and hit one million SUBS very very soon..
Thank you!
I'd like to think that's EXACTLY how Guy would be if he actually met and worked with Hans Zimmer.
OMG YOUR ENERGY AND HUMOUR IS LIFE GIVING!!!
Those were 26 very entertaining minutes... 👍
The presentation is excellent. It's quirky and entertaining. You have a talent there, sir.
I am shopping for epic drums so thanks!
Hans skit was well done and not over done.
3 years onwards and still good fun!!! (time for an update?)
UA-cam algorithm brought me here from "Saga - Acoustic trailer Percussion", from Red Room, now on sale, for half the price ....It doesnt sound that "EPIC", but i guess we can make it Epic by processing some Eppyness in it 😁😁
Hans! Great video! I really like Storm Drum 2 and 3. Haven't gotten to use the others so this was nice to see.
Только за шутки на Хансом - подписон! :)
Very interesting video and all channel's material! Thank you so much, Guy! Cheers!
Wow, I haven't been following the channel lately, but boy, did these videos get entertaining. Really great humor. Would watch even if I wasn't a musician.
Were does one even get a life size cardboard cutout of Hans Zimmer?
When comedic gold is the goal, you MAKE it happen 😉
wait... IT WAS A CUTOUT?!?!?! :O
This is awesome!! Thank you for the video! Never readlly knew where to get those drums that could help bring my piece to quality as far as standards go. Thank you!
I have not even reached the point where you are going to show me the sample sounds but I have already liked the video !
I live for the day when YOUR cardboard cutout shows up at Hans' front door. Great info; thanks for taking the time to do this!
Great video Guy as usual. Always funny too :) Thanks, and of course thanks to Hans for his input lol
So Great exactly in the Moment we are working on Epic Percussions, your Video comes along!!
And so so funny, ...... there is someone at the FrontDoor XD
Thank you so much for the review! It's simply brilliant!
The quality of the video is way too amazing! Thanks a lot!
Love watching your videos. Never a boring moment!
Nice of him to stop by and say hello. Let's give Hans a hand !
That was Hans down... the best pun so far ;)
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this channel. I'm rolling on the floor here! Good stuff!
I think this was really exciting.
I think this video was... really exciting!
You're the best, Guy! Thanks for this!
Amazing😂 part where hans was talking to you was like icing on the cake.
Guy, thanks for making my day
How about Ferrum now? One thing that looks very intuitive about Ferrum is the step sequencer for creating rhyhtms.
Which one of you is the straight man in this sketch? Hans demonstrated the need to be centred & still to allow the muse to inhabit our creative being. As ever, Guy, you are highly entertaining & informative.
lovely video Guy! I just discovered it! Thanks and greetings from Argentina!
Guy, you're an amazing guy :-D Thanks for the humour :-D Loved it :-P
Cymbals. I need an in-weeds tutorial about making cymbals more dynamic. They all include HZ sound anemic. thx
Hilarious and enjoyable. Time well spent- Cheers!
Immediate subscribe. This is so informative and equally as entertaining. Well done!
great sense of humor . This is before everything ..... Sudden SUB.
I can see you sitting with Hans at your favourite gentlemen's hairdresser and having a good talk due your serious haircut. ;)
Strike force sounds really great!
Great info! Thanks!
Hahaha... Superb, hysterical... 😂🤣😂👍 In my humble opinion each percussion library here sounds awesome. Guy, thank you so much for fabulous 26min., and the WAV files of course!! 💖
I think that's really exciting. :)
God bless you! You always give inspiration.
love your work buddy, you made my day
Thanks for letting me know! Glad to have brightened a Monday morning for you
Yo you are awesome man thanks for doing these types of videos
What about Epic Percussion from Splash Sound? Is it any good?
but whats your PC setup for storage space? im going to need a peta for all my libraries :O
Thank you very much, Guy.
Great video.
you ALWAYS make my day Guy🙏🎹😘
0:11 well, that made me hit the suscribe button!! Nice video!!
I would watch this guy even if his video's didn't have any educational content.
I laughed really hard when that cardboard cut out Hans Zimmer walked in and passed by xD
Hilarious XD
Made my weekend. Thanks!
Damage is the beautiful too.
The cardboard cutout videos are great!
Great compilation, thanks!
Lovely introduction! :)
Blessings to you my friend!
Guy, you're a nut. Great stuff.
I'm listening to this as a 17 year old living with my mom who doesnt support me and *hearing the prices for literally every good VST ;-;*
Edit: my mom who doesn't support me in music production*
If you have a tight budget, the VST SoundIron Apocalyse has a "Elements" version for $99 which will be way enough if you are not a pro (yet). Wait a few days, they might start their Black Friday deals, and you can expect 40% on that price. So you'll have a great product for $60.
There is lots of free stuff out there. Spitfire Labs comes to mind. Almost every VST producer gives away free stuff; just set up acounts at all the majer players and see what they give away. Only buy during black friday. You will need a midi instrument, i presume a keyboard. Some hardware, when you buy it , give away a free daw...(i've got Bitwig sitting here on the shelve, that i dont use, becouse i got it with some hardware i bought). So there are plenty of posebilities; there are no excusses. Go out there and create. Put it on youtube, Show people that you care, can are able and willing and the univers will listnen.
You could easily do a second installment of this video featuring Drum Fury by Sample Logic, SAGA Acoustic Trailer Percussion from Red Room Audio, Cerberus from Audio Imperia and several different options from Strezov Sampling.
Personally, I think we could use a bit more cowbell.
ujam : symphonic elements done with hans zimmer
Master how are you! Loving your videos always.
Question for you or any friend in the community.
Does DAMAGE vst works in M1 Macs? I am using Cubase Pro on Mac (new to this). and love DAMAGE. but i cant find any info about this. The technical page of Heviocity just mentioned the MAC versions can run, and no M1. Is that it?
And any other EPIC PERCS recommendation as a STAND ALONE VST for M1 chips?
Thank you! in advance for your time!!!
Very interesting..and well presented...
I think that's really exiting.
ur killing it
Holy heck!!! Does that amazing HZ cutout have the classic purple socks of doom???? AWESOME!!!
Quiero decirte que pues no hablo ingles, pero el canal se ve super. recomendacion deberias hacer un curso para composicion musical en español
What keyboard are you using? And are the faders pre-mapped by you and saved in snapshots? Interesting how quickly and easily you mixed the mic positions with the faders, for example.
I think it's really exciting
Like Hans, I thought this was really exciting.
Whats better, Action Strikes or Hans Zimmer London Percussions?
Awesome video! Could you let me know which of these libraries already have their own rythms like Damage does? For those who are not good at creating rythms yet:) Thanks!
Are you playing M-Audio Keystation 88 Pro? That's what I am having right now! )) Lovely!
Damage - Robert Dudzic my gawd what a great guy
I like dry samples, not all the time, but for the sake of making something fit into a mix, I need to have the dry samples or at least, close mics. Damage seems to be dry-ish. Does anyone have any advice on other libraries that are the best bang for the buck?
Amazing thanks for the humour! subbed
The best intro ever xD laughed so hard
caught me at the start with that Hans poster cut out...
Too funny!!! Awesome vid!!
Have you tried the new Toontrack Orchestral Percussion ?
i would have liked to see Cerberus from Audio Imperia but there was not in your list, why?! :-O Anyway, your videos are always so helpful Mr.Guy!
It looks great and I am a big fan of Audio Imperia - just not a library I own
Love it absolutely.....
That's creative video
Guy really doesn't seem like the kinda guy that would write epic stuff, but it's so cool that he does lol
Very good
Fabulous, thank you
What about NI Symphonic Percussion?
I got it quite recently and found the Timpani to be excellent.
The tuned percussion (Glock, wooden blocks, tuned perc is poor, but drums are good.)
Yes good idea maybe Ill do one on orchestral percussion as well - epic perc is a bit different
Dude!!! I just found Guy at random. So epic!!!
Any of these libraries free on the constraints of having to use. Kontakt player so samples can be loaded into a loaded into a piece hardware (drum module, etc etc) for live playing vs composing in a daw? Thanks for any insights. This is noob territory for me but it’s damn exciting!
If you have maschine hardware from native instruments i think you can play them live
Is there anything free for beginners to suggest? Very good content Guy, thanks...
Spitfire audio LABS is a good start.
I have enjoy this thanks
