Honestly the dress looks like a vintage Christmas card, and it's seasonally beautiful, I wouldn't be surprised if you get asked to loan it for a Christmas parade float, next year.🎄

There is something so satisfying about watching someone who is a master of their craft go through such a complex process and half the time just doing it based on intuition. SUCH a beautiful outcome Angela!!!!! I am a very very novice sewist and I am about to embark on a super basic project that feels daunting to me so watching you do this elaborate multilayered process is making me feel like I can do my relatively simple project if that makes sense. What a gorgeous dress! It's just the perfect mount of tacky and sparkly and delicious. It's absolutely the most and I would defend it with my life, green center back zipper included.

I think it’s absolutely gorgeous! One of my favorites. I wish you would sometime post still photos of you in all the Christmas dresses in chronological order. Actually it would be cool to do that with all the seasonal costumes. If you did that, it would make an awesome poster!

God, that dress is absolutely stunning! It is the most perfect blend of historical and fantastical, I absolutely love how it turned out. It's so pleasing to look at, and wonderfully sparkly, and I wish more over the top fantastical dresses were in the world, they're so beautiful. You did an absolutely wonderful job!

This costume is amazing. The textures alone are incredible. It looks so tactile and interesting. I love the gorgeous vibrant colours. The work that went into the garlands was totally worth it. The completed garment is incredible. I adore the cut of the bodice. and the spiral of garland "around" the skirt.
The construction of the skirts is so involved it still blows my mind you're self-taught.
I wish you had a picture of you in it with your green hair!

It looks amazing! You did a great job working with all the difficult lines and materials. It really did come out wonderful and I'm sure it was a lot of fun to make, if not a bit frustrating at times. Making your own garland was definitely worth the time, it's the perfect amount of fullness and sparkle. Loved the matching headpiece too, it finished it off perfectly :)
